Title: Low hashrate on 570s
Post by: Bravehash on July 23, 2021, 07:14:50 AM
I'm using 5x rx570 to mine ergo coins for day but I decide to switch to ravencoin and this guys are giving me 10mh each how can I get closer to 14mh cos that's what I'm seeing online for rx570 each, what am I doing wrong?

OC settings for Ravencoin are different from Ergo. Reduce Memory overclock and increase core. Also try a different mining sw.

Is your compute mode activated? Clock settings and core settings should not be the same for those cards, ETH, Ergo and Ravencoin coins all have different core clock settings so do research for rx570 ravencoin sweet spot

im getting 12-12.5mhs with rx470 4g. with settings 1150core 2000 memory 900mv powlim -20. Also dont forget switch wattman to fast memory timings. Also rxboost will add more extra speed. you can get with amdmemtweak.
14Mhs i dont recommend because you will use alot wattage and make gpus hot.

With 900mv you can go higher with your core clock and you get more hashrate. rxboost will not help to get more hashrate. powlim -20 bring also nothing.

13mh is the sweet spot in my opinion.

What miner your are using? You must use Teamredminer to the best hashrates.

Yes im using teamred for RVN.
I tried core at 1200 hashrate did not changed so i kept 1150. I also thought memory speed dont make difference in rvn but i saw huge difference when you apply memory timing and rxboost.
-20powlim is for not getting cards use wattage to much, i dont why sometimes when you mine rvn it jumps to 13-14mhs and goes back to 12mhs while this happens it uses alot and gets hot so -20 prevents it from doing that.

The topic is in Russian, but I think everything will be clear. It is necessary to modify the BIOS.
I had the same problem with MSI RX470 video cards, but after modifying the BIOS, I started having problems. Always keep the original BIOS.
I mine Ethereum classic because this algorithm is not so hot :)

Ravencoin kawpow algorithm is too mean on graphic cards, you need to make sure your GPUs are running on a safe temperature 24/7 to avoid bricking your GPUs, I'd mine ravencoin only with AC cooling active

Unfortunately this will be the only coin available to mine for some GPUs out there in coming weeks, ravencoin is the most profitable after ETH for some Nvidia graphics card

ravencoin is not very profitable on nvidia video cards. Red video cards win here

Ravencoin coins are better on Radeon cards mate a rx580 gives up to 60MH and a gtx1660 super which is roughly more costly than 580 did 4MH and the normal 1660 gives 20MH which is worst, Radeon AMD cards are more better on ravencoin algorithm
