What happened: Binance fake giveaway website.
Website 1:

Website 2:

This is another classic send me this amount and you will receive double the amount so we can verify your address, I have never seen something like this that is legit, the rule of the thumb is if you don't want to get scammed, do not give your private key if they request it and do not send amount just to verify your wallet, just always remember these two and you will never get scam.

And nothing like that is legit.  That's why when I see something like that, I auto ignore or close the tab, especially if we have accidentally clicked ads, phishing links, and fake/clone sites.  I just don't know if there are any more victims of such modus operandi, maybe those who don't know yet or are just new to this world.  But if the likes of socmed accounts have spread, it is easy to determine if they are legitimate because all their accounts have been verified.  So be sure to always verify the giveaways to be joined whether they are officially operated by the company or have a partnership or collaboration with other trusted project

When I saw this, I thought nobody was going to fall for it but some newbies still fell for it. When a reputable organisation as that of binance is said to be giving out giveaways, I expect one to contact their verified social media channels to make an enquiry or check if there has been a post regarding such giveaways.
As we keep have new batch of newbies in series, people need to get orientation of how to identify fake posts disguise to be from Real people who are scammers.

Such a scam is always aimed at beginners who still believe that you can get something for free in the crypto world. But in this case, despite the fact that they publish the addresses from which the BTC allegedly came, this is a lie. I checked their wallet https://btc.com/btc/address/1UstgjgzVSmwBPaDGHmc9T6pgEKLAx3Wf and it turned out to be empty, having no transactions. So in this case, they did not manage to fool anyone

Unfortunately, they change the address every now and then so it's impossible to know how much they collected and how many victims fell for this scam.
This scam is so obvious and I don't think any one will fall for it. Just look at the transactions they posted as evidence on the bottom of the page! They are all fake.
All transaction hashes start with"1"! Obviously, they don't know the difference between a transaction id and an address.

Its crazy to see if there are people will get caught on this scheme since this is classic one and there are so many information where we can search om how legitimate this is and also the binance support is reachable and we can contact them anytime to verify somethings. Thats why its really crazy if there still victim of these schemes.maybe they rush things thats why they see some lapses unto there side and good to see that there are people who notice this.

Which means it's a classic trick still used in their fake giveaway scams and always changing wallet addresses to trick maybe or something else into going crazy.
But I'm sure they are a little aware and never fall in love with this classic trick to make quick money even a lot of envy this is a living classic scam therefore they will not be able to tell the difference in this case and can only change the address as they like and even manipulate transactions for his charm.

I mistakenly thought that no one would transfer their BTC to such a scam, but judging by the transactions of the 1UstgjgzVSmwBPaDGHmc9T6pgEKLAx3Wf wallet, which I previously indicated, we see that they received 0.02905400 BTC, which is equal to more than a thousand dollars. Obviously, those who have lost their money will receive a good lesson for the future.

Those who send money to such websites without doing any research, they value their greed more than thinking on the basis of reality. It is not good if a crypto user falls victim to this scam even after exopse this fake website here. New crypto users need to understand how the crypto market works and how scammers are waiting to trap them. Because every day different types of scam websites are coming in the crypto market for the purpose of scamming people.

I think that here it is not so much greed that is the main message when making a decision to invest in such a scam, as the lack of knowledge about how the crypto market works and where the profit comes from. That is why those who have recently entered this market, i.e. newcomers, fall into such traps.

We do not know who are those have sent the money because it could be from the scammer pretending to be participants in order to attract potential victims. To be frank, I cant believe if there are still some people who fall in this kind trap as it is a classic well known scam attempt.

I believe most people who are involved in this crypto industry are smart people who wont be easily get scammed by this kind of trap. Those who are fooled can be those who are desperate to get quick money while it is hard to make quick money in real life.

As mentioned earlier, the fraudster regularly changes the wallet to replenish the account when BTC is received to it. Obviously, he is not interested in someone else having such an opportunity to track how much money he received using this type of fraudulent activity. Therefore, we can definitely say that the money was received from deceived investors.
