I hope I can discover some new projects/coins that could be interesting for me. Right now I only handle with btc. Sure I know all these other big players, but never get into them so I can't really decide to rank them. Share your top 10 right now with maybe a small info why!

Ethereum feels like it is set to become the top dog in the crypto game within 24 months. Binance Coin has so many interesting projects with it, similar to Ethereum, but Binance has better marketing, but also more scams. I have been using Theta quite a bit lately to try and support an interesting project away from the big corporations. If they could recruit more streamers I see it blowing up.

It doesn't have to be 10 and I don't have that much. Excluding bitcoin which is always the #1, there goes my list.

My list based on the various factors to determine why i were choosing them all to be in my list. NFT, DEFI and native coins should be on the list. These have long term potential especially for the NFT game.

The scam/fake projects launched on Ethereum were probably higher in comparison with BSC. We'll see the same scams happen on other blockchains as they become more popular.

ETH and BNB positions seem a little strange. Can you explain how you would choose ETH and BNB at 8/9 and Binamon and VulcanForged at 2/3?

Of course, in my list the first places are taken by Bitcoin, Ethereum (fundamental currencies); BNB, Matic, Tron (blockchains that I use).
In addition to this,I think it is a good idea to have a DeFiPulse Index (DPI), which consists of the top DeFi tokens by market cap. And also due to hype around NFT-token, it is a good decision to have NFT Index (NFTI), but this one is for medium-term investment, while NFTs are popular.

some people put their money into a few assets that they really know how the market and projects work.
but some of them just buy a lot of assets because of the hype in the market. when it goes down after the pump many people buy coins for their investment. and mostly just origin in choosing.
I myself only have 4 long-term investment assets.

Amongst them all my biggest bag is Near, I'm heavily invested in it since its has so much to offer to the crypto space, i believe with time the price will pump massively when people get to discover its full potential.

I only keep long term and am not interested in new coins that appear so it will not be put in my bag, because for me there is little risk and still digging about new coins.
There are a few coins that I keep most in my bag and I believe in the future I can turn things over for the better.

I think the reason is quite plausible because it is one of the potential coins.

Here is a list of my coin tiers. I've included some of the most popular NFT coins, such as AXS, SLP, and MIST, because I'm excited about those NFT games and believe they have a lot of potentials. Games are constantly being developed, and updates are constantly being released to keep players interested, especially now that the game is play-2-earn. Because I'm a gamer, the majority of my investments are in NFT games, some of which aren't listed in my coin tier list but I invested on them because I trust the devs that they will give a great game experience because they're a gamer too.

I have now joined BNB, because the Binance coin is a decentralized finance (DeFi) coin with very strong fundamentals and has the goal of creating easy public financial services.

I don't trade with many altcoins, but I only use two methods. Namely trading and holding. I trade with popular coins, such as BNB, Ethereum, and coins with prices above $5. However I also buy low value coins, let's say meme coins. And I specifically hold this for the long term. If I have the opportunity to staking, then I will staking, so that I get an increase in the number of coins.
My coins that I use to trade frequently:

I rarely trade Bitcoin, because the price is so high that it doesn't match the capital I have.

99.9% of the coins currently in existence won't exist in the next 5 years therefore you don't have to get all workup about not buying into a coin now. We still have potential gainers yet to be listed or even been under development. If you miss buying a coin now don't worry just keep buying Bitcoin as it's the only safe heaven among all the thousands of coins currently in existence.

Having to take advice form random individual online is by far the dumbest ways to go about investing in the cryptocurency industry. Majority commenting, what'll be going on here is just shilling after shilling. Everyone will be trying to sell their invested project to you. Be very cautious as the ones that seems legitimate can actually be the scams. That some projects hey repetition form different users doesn't mean it's a hit cake at the moment.

Individual could be using their double account to try shill you worthless craps. If I was to advice, I'll tell you to continue buying Bitcoin as you were. The chances of succeeding with just Bitcoin is higher than combining all other cryptocurency investment together. Just one drop form Bitcoin, could send most of the coins been mentioned above into exile.

A new project has a lot of risks Because they have very few liquidities. But if you can find out a good project with a good team then it's fine. Dont put all of your eggs in just one basket. it's very risky. I saw you mention that you are holding bitcoin for now. It's best for the long time investment but doesn't forget to buy some altcoin also.

I guess that is my portfolio now but I have a big expectation for bitcoin, ethereum, bnb as that is the coins that I have the most amount than the other coins. I also have a good expectation in the coin at the tier 3.

I consider the other coins will be a secondary profit that can give me the profit later if all of that coins lists can increase in the future.

Top 10 on which criteria? you can list the top 10 in various ways,
like- Top 10 alt for investment, Top 10 alt for most trusted, Top 10 alt on the basis of pricing (under 1$) (over 1$), Top 10 on the basis of market cap, Top 10 for Day Trading, and so on.

If you list on the basis of market cap then these are highly profitable and you can liquidate the coin at any time when you want without having any problem. But, keep in mind these coins are not much profitable for small investors, you have the ability to invest Big amount to make a profit from these coins.

Top 10 alt on the basis of Market Cap- Ethereum, Binance coin, Doge coin, Uniswap, Cardano, XRP, Polkadot, Stellar Lumens, Litecoin,Neo.
if you want to invest a big amount then you can choose these coins, cause if you aren't able to afford a sufficient amount of coins of these then you won't able to make a profit.

Top 10 alt under 1$- XLM, XRP, AMP, VET, ALGO, BAT, POT, IOTA, MANA, DOGE
if you are a small investor then the coins below 1$ are good for you to hold. Though these are not promising like the above High market cap coins but these are the most discussed coins in 2021.

I exclude Bitcoin from the list, cause it is the King Coin. I can't compare the King Coin to altcoins.

The coin on my list is $pCWS, Seascape Network token. With $pCWS, you could participate in farming, staking, trading, play-to-earn etc activities to earn passively.

OP should clearly said in which points he is talking to . We several criteria if didn't mention clearly. Although most of people understand he is talking about our assets list that in bag.


maybe you are short term investors and or maybe as daily trader so didnt need  portofolio list because usually we only research shortly in which coins we should buy.

The OP is only asking for advice on assets that are worth investing in other than BTC.
I think it's very simple and there's no need to think too hard. it could come from an asset you do own, or it could be an asset that you only recommend the OP analyze.

just focus on BNB and ETH I'm doing right now. no other asset for the long term. except for trading, I have a few that I really like to trade in the market.

Just looking for discover new coins/project I don't know yet and the easiest way is to see what other people like.

I think this thread is interesting for many people - it's not easy to have a good overview with all these coins out there.

personally i didn't make tier list for altcoin i have, i am make them same because it is my portofolio that will give me profit or loss in the same time. Making tier list didnt make my portofolio being green, when i am pick all them its passed strict analisys and research. Top cmc always be my top list when  i am start screening alts , and new project will be second choice when i want find hidden gem for long term investment.

In my opinion, Coinmarketcap has released the top 10 coins, even the top 100, with a very good reason, namely based on market capitalization. If we write other best coins in a different order with Coinmarketcap, I think it's very difficult. Although we don't invest in the top 10 coins.
For me, crypto investment is not based on the top 10 or top 100 but depends on the amount of money I have. If the amount of money is small, I will choose a coin with a low price. But if the money is above 10k, I prefer Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB.
Apart from that, I see coins for investment or day trading that have high changes every day, both increasing in price and decreasing in price.

Top 10? For the people who believe into only bitcoin may not have a such list like me. Still, I agree that I might be holding some altcoins which were collected through giveaways (forum and exchanges)/hardfork and bounty participation but I never consider them as part of my portfolio. Some long back itself, I stopped encashing my ERC tokens after high ETH tx fees.

I like to suggest anyone here who start thinking like to copy the people who are listing top and profitable coins as their list; honestly we never need to diversify in crypto space as bitcoin itself got all the power to get us big returns in long run. If you are too concerned about diversification then you may go for investing in stocks/gold/real estate along with bitcoins.

if you have invested in bitcoin, you don't really need to worry about even diversifying their assets, unless what we choose is altcoin, so we need to choose several altcoins to be more secure. diversification in other fields is even safer, because it has a different level of risk, and has the same goal, namely profit

I would not name all the coins I have but I can give a rough estimate of what I hold in greater and lesser amount.
The most coins I hold are of DEFI coins and liquidity pairs for farms. Most of my assets are on BSC while amount on polygon are increasing. The last week's bear hit hard on this group of coins. The next are some NFT coins and actual NFTs, they too are hit hard at the moment. Third tier consists of the top best established coins, Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB and KCS. They performed better than others last week. The 4th tier are small price coins that I hope could rise largely in near future. They have a limited number and some serious use case.

EOS is one of the crypto assets that has the largest community among all types of digital currencies. Since its release, EOS has attracted a lot of attention from developers and raised capital to continue developing its potential.
This is because EOS makes it easier for developers to create databases and manage accounts without having to have a programming background.

I take some portion on each coin. I held bitcoin, ethereum, bnb for the long term but I will sell the coins once the price increases in the short term. The rest of the coins will be ready to sell when the price also increases. I want to buy the other coins and hold them for a long time and I still figure out what coin I will buy later.

New coins for me are for short term thus I dont hold them for long period. If I had the chance to sell then im taking profit already and buy back.

I created my portfolio only just recently with cmc and some are still in their ICO. I believe that DeFi is the best thing in crypto right now and has the potential to replace banks in the future. Its better to invest this early rather than later. I also invest in projects who has real utility like GOMT.

This is a very bold choice of such altcoins for holding. I hope that your attempt to invest in new projects will bring you a profit. I invest in new projects myself, but I have about 30% of my balance allocated for this, and the rest is distributed between Bitcoin and Ethereum.
