This vanity wallet site steals all your money after a while i just watched as 200$+ was drained from my account and the only other person with the key was the site. Lots of other wallets have been drained if you have been a victim of this please post here.

I got my wallet drained last week but it was from a botnet. I dont think it was the vanity creator. My addy was a vanity though.

a bot net requires either the site or your computer to have the RAT or Bot installed on it

Don't be stupid, the keys are made piecewise so that YOU are the only person with they key. I have been using a key from them and I have no problem with it, talk to ThePiachu, he runs the site. If somebody stole money from you it's entirely your fault.

so someone stealing other peoples money is entirely OUR fault lol i dont think so bro, no offense but now 13 BTC stolen is somehow peoples fault and the only thing connecting all of us is the vanity wallets made by this site.

ALL ADRESSES ON THAT LIST ARE VANATY ADDRESSES MADE ON THAT SITE !

My other addyes are untouched on same wallet, i have backup and private keys for all of them in same place , if somebody hacked ME , he would get all my balance , not ONLY form that vanaty addy .

Sad thing is i had 90% of money on that address .

Oh, my bad, I thought that you guys wouldn't be stupid enough to let other people generate your keys directly for you. My mistake. What idiot pays someone else that has a copy of their private key?

You can trust bitaddress.org. It's open source, so you're free to look at the code if you wish, unlike the place that charged you money to take your money (the vanity address website).

Also, you can run bitaddress.org as a single html file offline on a linux USB so that you know that nobody is stealing your coins and you're safe from malware. bitaddress.org is a much more preferrable alternative to having someone else give you a private key and saying "I promise I won't take your money". I've been using it for cold storage wallets for a year now.

You got information wrong.
ThePiachu runs the vanitypool.appspot.com  and not this https://bitcoinvanity.appspot.com/
Technically , while split key seems a pretty secure way , there is always the possiblity for an untrustworthy site to store the keys and re use the address.
NOT something that is happening on vanitypool.appspot.com IMO.
Your next step should be to move your funds from this address , remove it completely  from your wallet and use the legitimate service of Thepiachu (the "slush" of vanity address)

I too was hacked from a vanity wallet.  I made two wallets, one for me and one for my 6 year old son.  Both wallets were emptied and the funds sent to the same address on the same day.  Over 1.2 BTC stolen.  I had doubts about the security when I made the wallets.  I should have trusted my instincts.
I have been in the crypto space long enough to know that nothing can be done about this.  If anybody thinks otherwise let me know.
