Some say cryptocurrency is a low risk investment but high return and also does this digital currency have a fundamental value so that it is feasible for investment?
What do you think ?

It all depends on the project in which you are investing if that project is good and will attract more people towards them then the project can give you high returns and there will be low risks. But another project which is not good so that one will not give you good return or can give you loss. So always search for a strong project.

Cryptocurrency is very much high risk because of the liquidation factors, rug pulls, volatility etc, these risks depends on the coins you invest and as a rule of thumb you can minimise risk by looking at strong projects like Infinity pad (a recent BSC launchpad), Mina (the smallest blockchain to date) or even ETH whose upgrade is coming in the next 3 days.

There's plenty of good projects in which you can invest and get a good return as well as reduce risk but you've gotta be very selective as 90% of the coins are garbage. In theory, yes you can get high returns but the risk is proportional.

Every investment carries risk but if you invest in a top 5 cryptocurrency & have patience for 4-5 years then you are not going to lose money. The likelihood is you make far more than any traditional stock or fiat investment.

I think that if you are engaged in investing, then your investment portfolio should consist of various assets. If earlier many investors recommended investing 5-10% of the money from the investment portfolio, now this amount has increased. I've been into cryptocurrencies for years and I can say that it's really rewarding but you must have a strong tolerance towards the market. You don't panic when you see that the value of the coins you hold have dropped and you just act as if it's very normal which is true. Cryptos are good investments if you're used to fluctuations and if you know how to keep your emotion when you decide for long term.

It would only be low risk when you're at a stable cryptocurrency with optimized rank on coinmarketcap listings. But don't expect higher returns while we still don't see greenish market that's existing nowadays because you'll be frustrated on that.

To my mind there is no fundamental value in cryptocurrency. Let me compare it with the stock market.

High risk been that the market is very volatile and it's percentage gain or loss is by far superior to any other investment opportunities out there. This is one of the question that is usually from the new guys in crypto who had not even decide to invest yet. For the most investor in crypto its usually just BTC that have fundamental not just because of the decentralized property of it but its the most adopted cryptocurrency.

Well the aspect of low risk with high return can work two ways, that is, it can be true and also can not be true. Let me explain, it is already stated that before venturing into crypto make sure you understand the risks involved, this is very important, now once you understand there is a risk to be careful of, you have already started making good progress. About the risks in particular, you can reduce this risks while earning more or making high return through having a long term mindset, with this mindset you can easily invest in good coins when they are in dip, send the coin to a private wallet and relax, at the end you will realize you have made a low risk investment but with good return.
On the other hand, if you are one with a quick cash mindset, you are only increasing the risks because you will be quick to invest without the appropriate reasons, hence likely falling in scam projects and all whatnot.

I would disagree with the low risk stuff. Remember there are a lot of coins appearing in the market almost every day and newer projects are open for investments, but most of it just do not survive for so long due to dumps. I would put it as high risk and high return investment when it comes to cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency is a high risk high return kind of investment where you can double your capital in a few days but at the same time, you can lost all of your capital in an instant or in a few hours. Investing in cryptocurrencies is a good thing but take note that don't invest into something that you don't know or else you will lose all of your investment. I would say that crypto is a high risk investment but with the possibility for a really high return, i strongly disagree with the low risk statement. If you compare it to investments into traditional stocks or other financial products i would say that even an investment into bitcoin has a high risk, but of course also a higher potential return if everything goes well. The good thing about crypto is that you have so many options to choose from. You can only invest into Bitcoin to minimalise the risk as much as possible and still have the chance for a x2 or even a x5 if you hold long enough, or you invest into altcoins and depending on which altcoins you choose you can either go for very high risk with new projects but also a chance fora x100 of your investment or you choose older and established altcoins like ETH or BNB for a lower risk again.

Nope, cryptocurrency is high risky and also chance of making high rewards. But % of risks and profits depends on a project you invest. New projects have high risk but can generate you 2x or more profits within few days but you have to bear in mind that, if you invest in 10 New projects, you may be scammed few projects also. If you invest in top and good coins, it will be less risky and profits will be comparatively lower than new projects.

This all depends on the project that we follow if indeed the project can be developed well then the return that we get must be higher but the risk remains because not all the projects that we follow can run well, then before following or investing in a project then we must first look at the details of the project if the whitepaper and team are working well then the project will certainly not be in vain.

I would never say its true investing in cryptocurrency is very risky investment you can not guaranteed 100% money back. You have to make your own research coin for the best to invest of your funds and you decide what strategic plan to apply for the coin to make it profitable in the long run.

Unfortunately, those SOME say that crypto investment is low risks are just assuming and underestimating the capability of the market volatility. It depends. Unless you find good projects out there with a dedicated team behind it, it could skyrocket your investment but not all the times you will find one. Other project even though a good one, still do scamming and leave your investment unto their hands.
In other words, cryptocurrency in general is a very risky investment. In a day it could skyrocket and also in a day it could lose your funds however, it is statistically believe that solid coins like Eth, BNB, BTC and other top 10 coins are rising in terms of price only if you hold in years. Well, BNB take years for it to be fully utilize and folds your investments into a 1000x even ETH take years too. Every projects needs time to grow as well as its community. I kinda want to go with that saying too in a way. As long as it was not put as cryptocurrency is a "NO RISK" investment, I can agree with the low-risk seasons being that, Investors can always minimize their risk on investment in cryptocurrencies. Most times people invest in outright shitcoins because they hope to make big gains even when they know that is really risky and they say it too that they are taking the risk. I agree with you. I believe it totally depends on the project you are investing in and I also think the time frame of your investment can also contribute. When you invest in good projects like the top coins/Altcoins, your risk of investment can be minimized to the lowest because these projects are kind of developed and have major institutions invested in them hence less likely for them to go under. Also, investors can also minimize their risk if their period of investment is also for a longer period instead of a shorter time.

The project you invest in, will determine if it is a high risk investment with high return, a high risk investment with a low return (or no return), a low risk investment with a high return or a low risk investment with a no return; it all depends on the project.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance coins for example are low risk investment with high return, but this high return will depend on if you are willing to hold for long, and considering most people who invest in them are long term holders makes it interesting for them.
The high risk with high return can also turn to high risk with no return at all, which have been seen in new projects which are only following the hype, they just list and exit scam within a short time.

The other side is true as well, when there are huge risks involved, people look at the possible rewards and they jump in as well, most of which gets scammed and that is the biggest problem. I have to say that there is a good amount of people who could actually find the right balance, you should not be afraid of taking risks, but you should not be focusing purely on high rewards neither, find the perfect balance where you are risking just enough and earning just enough. I personally do 90% of my portfolio in good known stuff like bitcoin, ethereum, bnb and few others, while taking my changes with quick trading and small investments towards low cap coins, that way I do not lose much if I fail.
