I'm personally not for copy trading, but probably the most reputable I know is eToro[1]. Though since it's mostly a stock and forex trading platform, don't expect Binance-levels of cryptocurrency listings.

There is also 3Commas, but it's a bit different. You're not copying what a trader is doing, but rather someone else's BOT strategy[1][2]. The platform is not free though, not if you want to take full advantage of its features.

I'm trading in binance from the previous past years and it has been really good for the newbies but in trading platform doesn't matter as well as you are a good trader and you are analyzing the coin really well and know about the trading strategies.

I believe in the similar sentiment regarding the copy trading. Sometimes I literally feel that copying the trades is more or less market manipulation! eToro also has premium copying where you need to pay for it so that you can copy those are excellent traders. Don't fall for that investment marketing strategy.

It's better to learn simple technical analysis (reading the candlesticks, graphs, theorems etc.) so that you won't be dependent guy on someone else. Also where would you complain if they fail to give you proper returns?  Don't play blind in the world of trading and gambling.  :)

Trying copy trading will not guarantee you to make the same profit amount as that trader because that will depend on how much funds you use in one trade, selecting the right trader you want to copy.
The big percentage you see in your balance will not always be an indicator of the trader because it will need more research to find good traders.
I suggest you learn more about trading so you do not need to use copy trading that you do not know how to trade.
If you still want to try, you should learn about copy trading before your test but I do not know what copy trading platforms that fit what you want.

I see it the same way and would definitely keep my hands off copy trading if I were @OP. Why?

  • eToro lets you pay copy trades from "excellent" extra, they are not free. However, if you follow "Jon Doe", it is very realistic,  that your own budget is used up in no time.
  • Also these traders make a lot of mistakes or trade high risk trades with very high leverage, which usually leads to very high losses.
  • The statistics of the individual traders on eToro are over several months/years and hide the fact that the traders also experience very long losing streaks. You can imagine what happens when you catch such a time.

I have tried 1broker.com myself for a long time in 2017 and experienced both very good times and very bad times. In total, however, I got out with a small loss, mainly because I just blindly followed any traders who had good statistics. I would never make that mistake again and would invest the budget/time in improving my own trading skills.

On top of what the others have mentioned, there was also covesting token (cov) that I've come across that looks to work on some centralised and decentralised exchanges - I haven't tried or looked much into it though.

If you copy trade, keep monitoring it! Some "traders" with a good track record often get nervous after successive losses and martingale (double their losses/profits on each position) themselves to 0... Make sure you keep withdrawing profits once you're up a certain amount and set stop losses if they're available.

Well, this is a legit suggestion, and I also recommend this trading platform. But there is a disadvantage of using this exchange platform, the high minimum deposit before you will start, I don't know the transaction fee but as I heard there are some of them are free and I think reading the FAQ and TOS is the right option here. Honestly, I did not have experienced this but one of my close friends has actually a beginner there. Copy trading is good while you are a newbie but if you have a better experience, I suggest not to use them.

Do you realize that this statement is too good to be true? You can go looking for such sites and channels on social media but you will be misled into joining some pump and dump groups which feed on its users. Trading is a risk filled task. You will lose money in trading and the quicker you accept it the better. Do not think of trying methods to "cheat" the system or following some website and copying what they did. You will never be able to learn anything from them but you will be losing money.

Then the above sentiment should be abolished from your head. You should start with how to read charts and identify support and resistance levels. Then go for dummy trading followed by the real thing.

If you have had prior history of stock market trading, you would know what I am saying. This is the problem I see with the newbie traders, they dont have any history of speculative trading and they jump into crypto trading only to be sidetracked at different types of scams running in the name of profit.

I've seen a lot of new service lately about copy trading especially on exchange and you only need to pay small fee to the one you are copying you can also see the profit and trading success of the provider, I think there's a website/service that offers copy trading and also there are some others that you can find on the exchange itself.

So you are talking about  Hivelly (previously was Ethbits exchange) exchange, I visited this exchange website. I also found a copy trading option there, But there is no trader that I believe. If you check most of the trading pairs, there is no order book, trading volume, Trade history at all. So maybe this exchange has not yet started or people not using these exchanges right now. They are active at the telegram, but they only posting memes at this time. I don't know why people will choose Hivelly exchange for their trade activities. It worst exchange ever I have seen.

Hi,

I have written two reviews on two copy trading platforms that are crypto-native. One is definitely free and other depends on the utility tokens you possess. Check both articles out.

I would suggest you to trade in forex trading as it is easy to use and most of the people earn through this. Probably most of the newbies don't know how to trade and they will lose a lot of money so you should be careful about that, there are many situations in which you should be very careful. Forex trading is suitable for you.

EToro's copy trading is the feature they always advertised on some of their Youtube ads.

They are generally for stocks before but now included crypto on their list.

It cost about $5,000 afaik and just to clarify, copy trade is risky and you need a bunch of capital to ride the activity of your chosen trader. And just to add, since the platform is more of stock trading, I doubt most professional and big crypto traders are there since crypto has its own big trading exchanges and that where they do big trades e.g Binance, Kucoin, etc.

Yeah, in the space of crypto there aren't many platforms where you can copy the trades of others like eToro (which as @mk4 said they cover some crypto markets too).

Because this copy trade is not yet common for crypto markets I suggest OP to stay away from random websites and only use/try the ones you're sure of and that have a good reputation.

But yeah, seems like a gap in the space???

Dont mind about making profits easy because this isnt how the proper way on dealing with the market.Im aint a fan of copy trades but there are already ones who do mentioned about etoro and hope you would find this to be relevant on what you are seeking but remember that everything isnt guaranteed.

It would be always better to make trades on your own rather than on following others signals or trades. If you do like to become a good trader then you should focus on doing manual and make this
follow trades temporary.

You would realize those things once you do able to differ out the profits given.

Beside etoro, i think there are some site like LMT (Let Me Trade) and Bingbon. We can do copy trading activity in there, and when i use it not get a problem with withdrawal. Also sometimes Bingbon held an event that can be joined by all of their users. But i think there are no guarantee you will keep profit because some of that big traders have more capital than us, when sometimes they can do a lot of orders and we can't follow it we can end with losses.

I have a friend who is a Trader, and YouTuber, he has always been a trader who also defends and operates his transactions by the Wyckoff method, and he has a whole team that is analyzing short-term trading, to enter by scalping where they have a liquidity pool and each trade is given to copy it, the only thing is that the platform is in Spanish: https://www.paguertrading.com/ (https://www.paguertrading.com/) Just sign up and get started ... it's free so far. So far it has been with a great acceptance rate because its trades have been very effective, this gives a lot of reliability.

I found an article at Newsbtc and the article was about copy trading. you can read the full article from here https://www.newsbtc.com/news/company/bitop-exchange-powerful-trading-platform-for-cryptocurrency-traders/

I also sign up for an account at Bitop exchange but have not yet deposited any funds there. I just tried to see the copy trading system. It's very good, and you can use it for a small amount also. But I have no idea it's legit or not, So why share with all of the sources. before making any deposit do your own research. If I made any deposit there I will confirm it here.

"Unlearn and relearn" seems pretty simple/easy to say, but in reality its actually difficult to start learning what you have already learnt in the past, during green days you don't actually have to know much about trading to make profit, cause literally every coin on the market is pumping by then, so you just have to buy and take profit when the coins pumps, during the bearish season that's when you will see the real traders who still earn from trading, but sorry to ask how can someone unlearn what he/she has already learnt? There's nothing to relearn except he/she didn't pay attention and learn it well the first time.

You are right, because by relearning what is supposedly already known, there are many things that are going to be ignored, and those little details are what make the difference in trading. It is not easy to do it, but I prefer that a golden recommendation is that I can read books that are from traders, it does not matter that they are from the Sotck Market, I have always followed Wyckoff's teachings, of heho I have a material that is from the Wyckoff Academy and the configurations and different charts adapt to many situations that the BTC has gone through, and some cryptocurrencies, of course the course is: Beginners, medium and advanced, the truth is there are many configurations but it is worth it, I think with that type of theories consolidates what could never be learned since it is very complete.
