Title: Fail fan reading
Post by: Bravehash on August 07, 2021, 06:18:05 AM
Whenever I'm mining in hiveOS my fan reading always go back to 0% but the fan still runs very high but the reading is incorrect, what can be the major causes of this ? Anyone ?

What card? Did you tried another driver version for your card?

Probably you overclock too high? Reduce this OC and see what happens cos I've seen such before and it always happens when I high my GPU core clock so check that out first before swapping drivers

It's an Nvidia gtx1660 card mate, I can't try another driver just like that since I'm running on hive OS but I don't think it's the driver because I'm using 6 gtx1660 in a motherboard and only one is giving me this fan error reading

Oh i see. Check cables probably you feed your risers with molex or sata  and overloaded too much. Check carefully even sata molex can melt.
