Welcome to the first BitcoinTalkShow graphics contest!

The BitcoinTalkShow is an upcoming Youtube channel focused around Bitcointalk, more about it here: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5351302)
The show needs some graphics, current priority is a logo and a banner for Youtube and other social media.
And it would be awesome to have the community involved to get them made!

The proposed theme would be combining these two:
- BitcoinTalk inspired (the banner could draw some inspiration from the forum's header layout and color scheme);
- Retrofuture: think of the Back to the Future / Tron universe, bright colors and neon lights.

But feel free to implement your own ideas!

General rules and structure:
- The contest has two categories: Logo and Banner art.
- Participating in just one category is allowed and multiple submissions should be ok.
- Sizes and ratios should fit Youtube requirements and content should follow YouTube Community Guidelines.
- Copying the design from somewhere else / trying to cheat the contest could get you disqualified.
- The winner(s) will be chosen by measuring things like public feedback and what we find more appropiate for this Youtube project.
- Late submissions, before announcing the winner(s), are not guaranteed consideration.
- You could submit lower quality/resolution images, however you will have to provide high quality ones if you win.

Logo: 3.9 mBTC
Banner 3.2 mBTC
And possible bonuses!

Contest starts now and the ending date is August 25 2021, 23:59 GMT.
Winner(s) will be revealed by August 28 2021.

Bonus perks for participating:
We might collaborate for further graphics and artwork in the future.
Get a shoutout in a future video about this contest.
There could also be some surprise prizes in this contest!

As @Rizzrack said, there's a suggested theme but feel free to go with your instinct as well.

Does that mean one can submit banner and logo both or only one? Sorry but I am confused whether we are allowed to submit multiple entries of one type or also allowed to submit entries for both categories as well?

You can enter both categories or just one with multiple submissions to either.

I try to used forum layout and color scheme, I will try to add a few more works :)

When i first heard about this contest for the bitcointalk YouTube channel I want to make something that also denotes YouTube icon or text related thing in illustrative way and end up making these two logos on the first day :

But they were looking like simple text to me so i decided to add more features to the logo to make it look more attractive and then made the above ones which implies different things like mic to denote conversations and interview sessions on the channel and interaction with viewers. The BTC logo which was main concern in this and added it to logo in best way i found suitable and then wrap the text in youtube icon format to combine them all.The text was written in different fonts with various designs.All the logos have made according to youtube specifications and for channels category without any violation of the policy.Made my contribution for the growth of channel.

EDIT: Some logos have youtube and BTC icon to make it look more relevant for youtube channel and have an idea from it.All the logos are made on corel draw and not copied it from anywhere and made originally by me. The original high resoultion images could also be provided if you like it.Best of luck to all of you  :D

For anyone who want to create a logo make sure the size is 98 x 98 pixels and maximum 4 MB, for banner make sure the size must 2560 x 1440 pixels and the content, font, or logo are on 1546 x 423 pixels (this is the safe area which any mobile, desktop, and TV can view) for the desktop the size is 2560 x 423 pixels that can be viewed. I know this advice is too late, but I do realized it recently when I try to insert my design to my channel and the images must at least 1024 x 576 pixels. This is because I've got scammed on an article the author said 1546 x 423 pixels is the correct size for youtube banner. So, I create the banner on 1546 x 423 pixels artboard lol :'( Even though there's 1 day left, but I can't complete the banner because my drawing process is slow and took a lot effort for each object.

So here's my design

Youtube Logo - My idea for the logo is make it very simple without contain any words but has a meaning of the design, I make a triangle (Youtube play button) including BTC logo on the center with balloon text means talk. I using orange colour instead of red for the play button is to make Bitcoin looks more premier.

Youtube banner - My idea for the banner is make a difference between Fiat and Bitcoin with cartoon style, so everyone could know what the main difference both of them. Another thing is I using a retrofuture theme for banner that's why I draw a robot, alien and UFO which I believe in the future they will be exist. The boy on center was using anonymous mask are us since the content will be not revealed the identity of the user on a content.

Here's preview of the logo and banner when I insert on my channel, the banner looks fit when view it on mobile... but on the desktop looks suck lol.

This is my logo submission (Sorry for the link, I am unable to give a full image in the post.)

The logo consists of the Bitcoin symbol with three waves as a nod to the show making waves in the Bitcoin community.

The helmet is to show how Bitcoin is rising in relevance.

Here is my version of BitcoinTalkShow logo design inspired by original bitcoin logo, and it would fit great on your wall with neon lights  :D

Thanks for the opportunity to be part of this initiative.
The images are sized for post purposes.

The word Talk is represented with the characteristics of the bitcoin logo, for example the beveled corners and in my mind it is as if the letter "B" had been cut into 9 sections. In the end it occurred to me to use a microphone...

As the base is in png, it is a matter of using the background you prefer.

Amazing work everyone! To be honest, wasn't expecting this event to be this big. It will be really hard to pick a winner. There's one logo and banner slot, but will think about how we could award more prizes to more people. Would it be so awkward to have different banners for other social media, like Twitter? :D

Although I'm more than happy to see the activity being generated regarding this contest, I think that from a "brand" point of view it would be good to have the same "art style" being replicated both on Youtube & Twitter - I believe it's much easier for people to recognize the channel by the artwork that they've seen on the Youtube channel (and vice versa).
However when we do hit a particular point in viewership/reach I believe that we could change our artwork from time to time - As long as our logo, whatever it may end up being, stays the same it will allow our channel to be recognized independently of the artwork that may currently be deployed. Perhaps it's a more... balanced scenario?

I agree, its the standard to have a uniform brand theme so it becomes familiar and recognisable
across many social media sites. While the banner and logo size will be different from media
site to media site I guess I'm right in saying any designer will be able to work with the team to resize
his/her design myself included obviously.

First of all, I'm very sorry for my late submission due to personal issue I had in recent days, and somehow I missed this contest and thought the deadline is August 28th. I love this forum and I want to contribute on anything that related to my skills, that's why I intended to join this contest. And thanks to Cyrus and everyone for holding this contest. It's great to see so many great submissions here. Any way I just want to show my submissions so I personally don't feel that I wasted my time for this. I would not say better ....
