Title: Is BNB a good long-term or short-term investment?
Post by: Abiky on August 13, 2021, 11:12:56 PM
Ever since Binance Coin began trading on the market, it's been going on a constant trend in price. It's quite impressive for a coin that's fairly new in the crypto/Blockchain space. Binance's strong marketing/promotion efforts led its own Blockchain network towards non-stop success. It's up to this date where BNB is the third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap after both Bitcoin and Ethereum. While BNB had its "glorious moments", it's still behind the ATH of $690 per coin. Just like any other cryptocurrency on the market, BNB is "haunted" by wild fluctuations in price.  I'm wondering if BNB serves more as a serious long-term investment, or all the other way around. The total supply is 168 million coins, so I think BNB has a better chance of becoming a store of value than ETH itself.

What do you think? Is BNB a good long-term or short-term investment? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)

BNB right now taking the position of ethereum before years. It gave an unexpected price increase and the same kept it market on the peak. Further it dropped and then it is moving in a slow and stabilized way. This is truly a long term profiting asset, and there is also regular marginal variation letting people make some regular short term profiting. Based on the market bounce of bitcoin we can expect big rise in the price long term.

BNB was very good for long term and short term but the question is whether binance can solve all of the problems that faced by the regulators. We have known that some countries were accusing binance already operated illegally on these countries. that must be addressed by the binance exchange site to make sure there will be no a problem in the future.
BNB was a very good coin with so many products. It must be solved as soon as possible

of course BNB is very good for the long term because more and more people use their network, we know the supply of bnb is decreasing because they always burn, I think the less supply the price goes up and closer to the price of eth. and this is my opinion on BNB

Definitely, I bought some bnb recently at $314 each and now the price have appreciated a little more, supposing am a short term investor, I would think of selling because I already profited in my investment but since my goal is long term I intend to let it be and just enjoy the price movement, bnb is one of the few alts with a use case, not just a pump and dump project, there is a serious business behind it which is a vital part of the coin.

I think Binance is suitable for two kinds of investments, long term and short term.
It appeared early on and without many guessing that Binance could be what it is today. Binance is gradually trying to move on to become the number 2 coin after Bitcoin.

I personally think it's very good whether long term or short term, and just depends on the goal or plan that you intend to implement.

Looking at how it works and develops up to now, it's really great, with great ambition from CEO CZ I always prioritize it well after BTC, ETH

Tough question, it's not the prime mover in altcoin as compare to Ethereum although that have been chasing it for years and I shall say very successful specially when Ethereum gas fees goes sky rocket.

But since Ethereum2.0 or London fork has deployed and could potentially solve the issues, all other projects might shift back to Ethereum mainnet. So for now, I would say short term investment, BNB is good, but seems to be questionable to me long term, just my opinion.

Buy at a discount and always keep it, profit always happens, just we refuse or accept it.
BNB has an all too obvious position in this market, their effects really have a huge impact on the entire market right now.

It's good for both long or short investment, BNB fundamental is from the binance exchanges which is used by most of crypto investors around the world. It's features are become so much popular such as futures that many people play it right now. So i think their team is still having many great projects ahead to make this exchange more appealing to the investors

I don't know what these guys mean by "short term investment". If you want to sell your coins after just a few weeks, then I would call it "trading" rather than investment. And in case of BNB, the only concern I have is that it may have gone up by too much in the recent weeks. Apart from that, BNB remains one of the best available options among the altcoins. Binance as an exchange is performing really well, maintaining its monopoly and witnessing a steady increase in userbase and volumes. And BSC is also witnessing an uptick in usage and adoption.

I would say short term investment is good for BNB as of the moment as it doesn't have any proof yet that it can be a good hold for longer term.

The project is still fairly young as compare to the rest of the top 10 altcoins in the market right now. So give it some time to mature and make a lot of progress in the next 2 to 3 years and see how it goes. Time to make profit for it short term for me, as I have invested on it some time ago and just waiting for the right now to sell because I'm still expecting a massive bullrun before the end of the year.

BNB will do well because of the large amount of Asian money pumping into it but regulations and scams will cover the chain with a shadow preventing it's growth. I sold most of my BNB for Fantom and NEAR.

I think it can reach again its peak. Its too early to judge what would happened. But in my opinion, many will still use binance and their bnb would greatly increase value in the future. People are using bnb network everyday and those users will always used or prefer binance as their main exchange. I like how Binance runs their platform in spite of the issues raised against them.

It's only my opinion but I think yes as you can see the DeFi and the NFTs are high at the moment and those NFTs and DeFi use BNB in order to complete their transaction. For me I think this could be a good long term investment I remember the time when I see the BNB which is only around $50 and now you can see it's more than $300 so I think it's really good for long term as long as the DeFi and NFT are around.
This increase in bnb is indeed inseparable from the defi and nft projects that use the binance smart chain services as a transaction tool. so I personally also think that bnb is suitable as a long-term investment tool, because besides that they have the largest exchange in the cryptocurrency market

Without a doubt, BNB is a long-term investment. I think that we invest for a short term only in meme coins and different altcoins that are not very popular, but they are likely to pump because of hype around them. What comes to BNB, it is already popular so it is quite difficult for it to increase by 10 times or more especially fast. So we should wait for a profit in the long term.

BNB is a very good currency whether you invest in the long term or the short term it is possible to get profit only if your capital is more than this. But most traders prefer BNB long term like bitcoin and ethereum. Longterm investments are more profitable and holding on for longer will double the demand and value of currencies will have to wait until the next price.

Other than Bitcoin (BTC), I'm not sure to make a long term investment. For me, the new breakthroughs that Binance has been making now interest me, but not in the long term.
In my opinion, Binance is a coin that has good short-term investment opportunities.

BNB is good, the team are great and the platform as a whole is outstanding, but what was the price of BNB early this year of which is went up very high? Understanding that and what lead to that price or ATH will help figure out what contributed to such, and the simple answer is more use case and more people now using it for transactions, fees etc. Remember when the Meme projects were launching every now and then, a good number were leveraging the BSC network, via different swap platforms or Dex such pancakeswap, Apeswap and so on, all the transactions going through these Dex contributed to the growth of BNB, coupled with the team's or CEO constant acknowledgement of BNB on twitter.
So in other words the higher usability of a coin contributes to its growth since more people are now using it, therefore it is clear that BNB is good for long term. On the case of better store of value, yes it will be a good store of value but not better than ETH, ETH is constantly improving on their blockchain the London hard fork proved a lot about the ETH team and their expertise.

BNB is good for both long term and short term trading.
Long term investment is good especially for those who doesn't want to take the risk of short trading.
However, for the traders, they could actually get more profit than just holding BNB. Because BNB's volatility is good for short trading, thus it'll always have a good price action as BNB is paired with almost every coin in Binance exchange.

BNB is a good investment, but there is something that Binance has been facing now, a lawsuit specifically. I hope It would be resolved.

I became interested in investing in BNB not long ago, I became interested in BNB after knowing the price of BNB has increased dramatically this year.
Then BNB is always in the top 5, this proves that BNB has great potential for investment. After I studied BNB a few months ago, indeed BNB is very
good for long-term or short-term investment. But because I don't have time to monitor the market every day, so I prefer long term investment
in BNB. Even though Binance is in legal trouble, I believe Binance will work it out well. Since the owners of Binance have been in the crypto world
for a long time, I believe Binance can overcome every problem it faces. So there should be no doubt about the future of BNB.

Currently, there have been many appraisers and analyzes going on at BNB, where analysis is the initial process to determine everyone's choice, for now we can determine the level of long-term and short-term investment, both of which are suitable for use at BNB.

If you look at short-term investments, today it is proven that BNB is very good in the market and worth investing in, while long-term investments also have the opportunity for everyone to use BNB, this can be seen by BNB 2 years ago, all circumstances, conditions and influences what happened in the market was that BNB was very stable and tended to be normal.

Up until now I'm still not sure to hold the BNB for a long time it goes up and down though we understand it since its a cryptocurrency and it's volatile, it is just that of course the Defi and NFT will soon be gone and the hype will go as well after that I'm not sure if the BNB would still be a good investment or not.

As the days go by, BNP's currency is becoming very popular.
Hopefully BNB coin will be in a very good position one day.
I think if we buy BNP coins now, then we can be very profitable in the future.
In addition to the increase in the price of Bitcoin, the BNP has increased its price a lot

In short time BNB will Fallow ETH cause their own Blockchain already too much popular every news token using BSC network Running lots of projects and some project is coming very soon so I think BNB can hold long term cause market is recovering day by day.so I always support BNB cause it's already low price.

It depends on your investment preferences as well. If you are looking for a coin that might offer you the chance for a flip with decent profits, I think BNB could be a good choice indeed. In a bull run it will go up reasonably well I would expect. But it also has a lot of long-term potential unless Binance fails to deal with the problems they are currently facing. Regardless of the issues, it is an established global corporation with a huge user base and amazing revenue. The industry can be expected to grow further and if Binance plays this game well, they will also at least keep their market share in relative terms and expand in absolute terms with the sector growing further.

Both of them, BNB was really good for Long-Term & Short Term investment, It's have wider use case and backed by the biggest crypto exchange so you can expect some significant grow, Beside that BEP-20 was really good to become an alternative for Ethereum especially after last fork that i see didn't really affecting so much to the current ethereum main Problem (Gas Fee), The only things that make BNB not really good was Centralized but so far i know it will change in the future with public validator, Not sure too but if you want it for Store-Of-Value it was good choice!

BNB is an exchange coin which is currently providing a lot of benefits to everyone, that's what I experienced because I invested in this coin since 2018, who would believe the price went up to $400 usd and since BSC was launched the price of BNB has slowly gone up, reaching a new ATH above $600.
ETH and BNB are good coins for a long term investment, currently the ETH platform will switch to using POS and BNB has been doing that since sending transactions on the ethereum network rose due to the density of transactions.
BNB is likely to hit $1000 if the team continues to burn coins for 3 months, let's wait for new ATH from BNB at the end of the year

Either long-term or short-term, I consider BNB a good investment. Mainly, lots of users are now using the BSC chain since the fees are cheap alongside quick transaction speed. Binance is also growing more making it a monster platform that's now hard to imagine will collapse sooner or later.

The BNB itself is a good choice but for good profits to come, it will depend on our own strategy.

It's useless to invest in a good and profitable coin if we don't know to handle it.

BNB has a really high potential for growth, only this potential was exhausted after the price of the coin increased 20 times since the beginning of the year. And given Binance's problems with the law and CZ desire to leave the post of head of the exchange, it will be risky to invest in this coin.

It has already reached its potential I believe. From now on, it will move correlated with bitcoin. How bigger can binance can get from here? Especially when they are dealing with all those investigations... ı know BNB is not a company stock but you can't deny the connection.

So... I don't think BNB is a safe long term investment.

It could be long-term or short-term based on your holding strategy. BNB is also a good innovation chain and strong operation scope as well.  Long-term holding might need more patience time.

Yes of course. BNB is very promising coin that may increase up to $1,000 each this year or in the long run. It is good for long term and also for short term depends to the investors and traders. It is also says that BNB could be the next Ethereum. Therefore good to buy BNB not because it is the next Ethereum but because it is potential and promising.

Bnb looks like a very promising coin both in long and short term, it has established itself as one of the top coins in the crypto market and I think it will be there for a long time, since its now the new Ethereum in town where almost all new projects build on, bnb will be one of the top cryptocurrencies for a long time, so it's still profitable to pick it as a longterm invest since it will likely get to $1k someday since it was able to pump to $700 during the recent bull market in May.

We don't know that in the next 5 years the reputation of Binance will be same as of now so holding BNB for long term is not a wise choice but it has the potential to grow further if the exchange remains at the top until the end of your holding period.

BNB is good enough for short and long-term investment. Every time the price increase so high, that will be a good time to sell and buy back again after the correction coming because the price can go down by half and if you buy back, you will get more amount than you have before. But if you want to use BNB as a long-term investment, you do not need to sell and buy back more when the price is down. We have different targets that we want to achieve, depending on the strategy that we use.

In the past year, financial markets have been under considerable pressure due to the corona crisis. however, Binance Coin has managed to recover and even hit an all-time high earlier this year. The increasing popularity of Binance Coin has a positive effect on the price. Analysts and experts expect price increases for 2021-2025 due to collaborations and new developments in the coming years.

Long, mid and short term bnb will always appear to be a good investment, bnb is always a good choice among other investment decisions, I believe bnb has the capability and capacity to go above 1k in near future as long as things are going well for binance because anything that affects binance will invariably affect bnb too, beside this, bnb is good investment anytime.

I think neither long-term nor short-term for BNB can hurt at all. Both of these strategies can be done correctly, depending on your emotions. because we know that bnb tends to be stable but the movement is quite slow. for some people this is an opportunity for a long-term strategy. Likewise, if BNB is reaching its stability level, you can use a short term.

IMHO, I believe after the launch of the Binance Smart Chain, BSC Network, the future of Binance has already been written, as one of the fastest-growing platforms in the industry and because Ethereum has not solved its gas problem many users are migrated to BSC, that has resulted in huge demand of BSC base Decentralized exchange services, that paving the development of many DExes like PancakeSwap, BakerySwap, etc. and if Ethereum will not address its expensive gas fees, I'm sure many will leave Ethereum and going to Binance that's why I believe that holding BNB and other BSC base tokens has a good potential in short term or even long term.

BNB has proven itself to be a good coin worthy to be invested on. I could remember less than a year ago, BNB was trading on Binance less than $50. Infact, it was $29 at that time. Now let's make small analysis here, imagine if someone bought 1000 BNB @$29 that will be a total of $29,000. And the person has decided to sell at the current price it's trading now which is $400. Let's continue with the analysis, $400*1000= $400,000. And remove $29,000 from $400,000. We are talking of $271,000 in less than a year. Which coin would have given so much profit within such time. BNB is a very profitable investment. Both short and long.

Currently, BNB is the most valuable, famous, and powerful exchange coin. BNB's strong growth in the past few years despite the market's decline has proved CZ's potential and wise strategy. In my opinion, in terms of investment priority BNB can be on par with Ether. BNB is suitable as a good long-term investment.

I would say if you hold the BNB then you must hold for a long time.We know the future of BNB is much better. I have ald for my BNB Long Time.I have my BNB 44 I bought and held it in dollars. At one time its price increased a lot. I sold it and bought it again when the price went down.So I would say if you buy and hold BNB, you will hold for a long time.

What do you think? Is BNB a good long-term or short-term investment? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)
One of the best if not the best crypto exchanges right now.
Offering different features on their platform that includes fiat payments, staking and many more.
Top 3 or top 4 right now on CMC base on market cap.

With Binance's success, I believe that this will be a good for a long term investment. Exchange coins are still good to hold if you will ask me especially these coins that have a huge reputation in crypto exchange industry. I also believe that more feature will be added on their platform thus, more users will come and use it.

I have the same analysis to prioritize BNB investments in the portfolio, I believe BNB to be another new "ETH" because the growth of ETH is very synonymous with the growth of ETH in the beginning, I may miss the ETH moment because the price is low but I will seize the moment on the BNB coin.

For sure bnb is such a good coin for long term, it got a strong project which is among the top largest crypto exchange (Binance), as an exchange coin it is, binance is applying every good mechanism there could use in keeping it's token on the rise, the Binance exchange made so many features in it's exchange which supports the utility of the binance token, but so bad Binance is faced with so many issues from the government and I hope they got resolved soon.

BNB has lot's of use cases. Binance exchange platform is the main reason for the success of BNB. But some other utility usages helped it to gain more popularity. I think the most important one is BNB smart chain network. The higher Staking rate of BNB is attractive too. They also burns BNB from their supply. Their smart chain network is widely used by most of the new project team. These reasons are enough for a coin to get good support from investors. As a result BNB is worth for long term investment.
