Title: Cryptocurrency and entertainment.
Post by: Rruchi man on August 18, 2021, 03:40:03 PM
In the entertainment industry, entertainers need the news to trend and remain in vogue. Be it a good news or a bad news, it puts their names up on blog post, newspaper headlines and most importantly in the mouth of people. We can deduce from this that Entertainers need the news to stay valid and in vogue and without trying to constantly be in the news be it for a good or bad reason, they can fade away and people quickly forget.

News about crypto , who can shock the world is about technological advances, world leaders, and big industries. these three things often make trending both in print media, social media and electronic media.
as an example is the advancement of blockchain in the field of DeFi initiated by uniswap that has taken the world by storm. and now the concept continues to be developed. there is also NFT both game-based and others.
an example of a world figure is Elonmusk. are you aware that he is the one behind this year's altcoin season? certainly with policies and decisions that are phenomenal. the more phenomenal, and the more updated, and the more it causes a stir, then that's the news you're need.

I see some resemblance on what you are saying, but with cryptocurrency and bitcoin they are the center of attention themselves, what i mean is that news are created around them with companies and governments accepting them or banning them or using them as a payment method, and the price change and the popularity are what actually affect these news, and the news themselves along side the users influence the price so it is a cycle, so crypto and bitcoin don't need news from outside its own environment to stay alive.

Crypto provides its own entertainment for a trend; as long as we constantly evolve and provide satisfaction to the users, it will surely reach out to more people in the online community. We can create news as long as it provides value to the targeted audience.

I relate with that you are saying with example like BnB. Far back in 3 years ago binance was not popular exchange but recently it has become a very popular exchange and that has hype the coin, BnB very fast than we expect and the CEO kept developing the platform. Currently binance is doing an identity verification that ended yesterday 17th August. This identify verification that is tightening withdrawal and deposit into binance is further bringing it limelight about how secured it is to hodl your coins. Although that I have my own reservation on it about regulating withdrawal and deposit but it is putting binance on the public because of the news it will generate. Therefore, if bitcoin and cryptocurrency have such public gigs, it can get more adoption. adoption is the bigger news that the public and ethusiast expect.

I think crypto has had many news stories that would increase its popularity. They simply do not receive the broadcast strength needed to penetrate deep into public consciousness.

More than 4 billion unbanked demographic using and relying on crypto around the world. Cuban immigrants in the USA using crypto to send money home to their families in cuba. Asset protected crypto like bitcoin outperforming state issued fiat currencies in nigeria in terms of inflation. There definitely is no shortage of positive news relating to crypto with the potential to go viral. The only thing missing is coverage by major media sources, which for whatever reason. Choose instead to focus solely on alleged negative aspects of crypto. Many of which have shown to be inaccurate over time.

As someone pointed out, it could be the adoption of governments, but that's a slippery slope and maybe the long way to go about getting recognition. I'd say, for the most part, people want to hear about crypto being more stable and the use of tech being more widespread. That type of news would get more people behind it.

The difference between entertainment and crypto currency on this matter is that crypto currency naturally appears on the news for important reasons that have a real impact on the life of people involved with them, while entertainment industry and its members usually fabricate stories and situations to artificially appear on the news and consequently become a trend for futile, worthless reasons that have no use in their audience's lives at all.

Crypto news can help people to know more about bitcoin, to start adopting it, to understand better the technology that is going to change the financial system, so these news actually have a positive effect. And entertainment news are just about gossips and intrigues in celebrities' lives. Things like this don't add anything useful in life. It just distracts people's focus from what is really important for their personal evolution.

Been thinking - What do you think is the biggest news cryptocurrency needs that will increase its popularity?
News about crypto currency are good as they already are. They don't need to be like this or that, they just need to be natural and report the facts in real time.

News is very important in cryptocurrencies, especially when there are many people who depend on them to make decisions that have to do with trading, although I personally do not see news when I do my analysis, so I do not intervene with my trading decisions. . This also reminds me of Jesse Livermore's books advising against watching the news.

Of course the news has its effect, both for FUD and FOMO depending on their behavior. Sometimes I think that a lot of the news is generated by the effects of the whales and that the manipulation of the market goes from the news to the trends of social networks, and this usually moves emotions and feelings in people, for this reason is that the market is also moving in a certain direction.

I can’t fully agree with you on this one. Such a substitution can only be accurate for cheap shitcoins, which can only live off hype and can’t survive without constant attention. Decent cryptocurrencies speak for themselves. They’re great in their features, thus, attract customers and investors and only then get on media, not the other way around.

I think you lives with the approach of what is news is the best or that the best is news.

So much positive news happen daily on technologically e.g. and in individuals who are driving the world with their ideas and are not popular at all ... something like that It happens with bitcoin, it is there, it does not need viral "movements" to reach more people, this is a process that breaks paradigms, it is something that takes place slowly for some, for others it goes fast.

The process is happening, the change is happening,  maybe you need a viral news so that you believe that it is happening ... but bitcoin is here among us.

By the way, news; related to entertainment, the AMC cinema chain will receive payments in cryptocurrencies, Paris Hilton is a fan of NTFs, Hollywood and streaming chains, she lets herself see some movies where the subject of bitcoin is discussed...etc.

So ... you don't have to have so many flash, lights or carry a blin, blin to be present.

Newspapers and entertainment applications, both online and offline, are the most powerful print media to make everything known and famous, be it positive or negative news. and this is one of the main reasons that an industry and technology can develop faster, and that also applies to the crypto world

I don't really think there is any, I know in the past one year or so, there have been quite a lot of big news about Bitcoin and it has made more people interested in the network, but more often than not, the effect of these news is ephemeral and it mostly only has an effect on the price for the meantime, but mind you that if you're talking about mainstream adoption, to achieve that, people need to appreciate the value of Bitcoin, not just one news or the other, but they need to be willing to take the responsibility of 'being their own bank' and taking control of their funds.

Mind you that most of the news on social media about Bitcoin is even negative as the media tries to highlight the network as being where one can easily get scammed and lose their funds, thus what would actually increase Bitcoins popularity and advance mainstream adoption is when people understand that the network is a sort of change to the centralized financial system, and that with Bitcoin no government can control your funds but you.

I doubt there's any one single news that could propel crypto's name into popularity and be the talk of the town for months. A lot of people are already used to crypto news now, even if they don't fully understand what it is or what it does. Forks, crashes, and bull runs are what makes cryptocurrencies pop in the news websites and mainstream media. But these events are also pretty common now that they aren't really something that is going to get the public's attention for long.

Yes, this could be one,

[1] governments investing bitcoin as a reserve
[2] huge companies preferably in the top 1-20  will put bitcoin in their balance sheet
[3] online stores such as Amazon started to accept bitcoin
[4] governments making bitcoin as legal tender.

So far that's what on top of my head, you might agree or disagree though.

Looks like I don't quite agree with this.  Maybe in my mind it was the banking conglomerates that created the link while investing in bitcoin and carrying out their intentions.  Government investing in bitcoin for storage is unlikely( Except for legal tender from them, similar to El Salvado ) because they know bitcoin itself is the real pressure that they can't find a real solution

Entertainment is a completely different ballgame. But there can be two separate groups here. One groups would contain directors who have their own style and have been developing a lot on that and they would have their own fanbase that keeps growing.

Another is the ones who tend to follow world politics and movements and attempt to make content based on that. These dont really get a long term following but a short term trend.

The only similarity if the fanbase thing. Rest of the concept is different and not interchangeable words. That would be too much generalization of two different topics.

Crypto does not needs to trend to be alive. This is the direct effect of the altcoins being made and becoming popular through trends and the term crypto being used more commonly with all sort of altcoins. Bitcoin only needs users to use it, whether people want to invest/keep it as a store of value would be their choice. However exchanges tend to follow the trend in attempting to spread the word about crypto.

Yes the news is important and it helps you to stay relevant, if you’re an influencer or celebrity. That’s why you will see a lot of people doing things these days that will help them stay relevant in the industry that they are in. People are always seeking for that attention, because attention and views on your contents means more income and you will get to show prospective clients that you’re relevant enough.

Because, clients are always looking to invest in things that are trending or relevant. So in the case of cryptocurrency, this is also needed. Although I would say that the bad news we get doesn’t really play a good role, because it can discourage people who wants to join the community.

I think what makes people feel the most sensation, first of all must be well-known, relatively new, like the operation of some whales in the market at that time.It is true that most people follow the whales, and the news of the national government. The news of big countries is most likely to arouse investor sentiment. The country recognizes and supports it, and the people of the country will naturally pay attention or choose to understand it. Positive news is the most beneficial.

news about legality can make cryptocurrency even more popular. as we know if the legality of cryptocurrencies in most countries is still a question mark. only a small number of countries openly say that they have legalized cryptocurrencies. if most countries openly legalize cryptocurrencies, I believe the popularity of cryptocurrencies will increase drastically.

Adoption by biggest tech companies. Either Apple, Samsung, Amazon, Alibaba or countries would hoard BTC like USA, UK will really boost the popularity of cryptocurrency added by stores that accept crypto rather than fiat. This things will surely change the course of cryptocurrency and many countries will really follow it specially the 3rd world country. They will surely trust the judgement of those big countries and probably be stepping up also.

Probably another company buying a lot of bitcoin and adding them to their business or somewhat integrate if they can integrate it into their own system. Another one that could probably backfire but will result the same is if there's a big scandal that's in relation or somewhat connected to cryptocurrency that will happen that's going to be heard by a lot of people all over the world.

What could increase the credibility and popularity of cryptos a lot is a developed country adopting Bitcoin as legal tender. We've seen El Salvador and Venezuela putting a lot of hope into cryptos, but these countries have some of the worst economies in the world and are thus desperate to try risky decisions as long as there's some potential of improving their current situation. Developed countries, on the other hand, don't need Bitcoin because they're doing well already, so if one of those starts accepting Bitcoin as legal tender around the country, it would make cryptos look like credible and safe rather than risky and desperate.

When a famous or world known people talked about cryptocurrency or bitcoin, it can already increase the popularity of crypto because some people will trust that it theres really a cryptocurrency that was going on. They will rethink some fakenews that they gather from other people some famous people trusted it.
Any news about crypto can certainly affect the opinion of people who watch or read it. So I think the best news that can make it more popular in a positive way is when someone testify the good side of cryptocurrency, that despite the volatility there are still a chance of earning too much from it.

cryptos were already popular but for it to increase , a news about a country legalizing crypto can help because more countries allow crypto , more people are also going to use a crypto .  for countries where crypto is already legal , more exposure of crypto can help .whether in the news , ads , public places .

The role of public figures is indeed very helpful for the growth of the popularity of cryptocurrencies, especially if they are willing to promote it every day, then this can certainly encourage many people's trust in certain cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin to become stronger, thus creating high demand and making bitcoin more valuable.

Most of these people are influential, such as Elon Musk, who has recently sparked interest in bitcoin after tweeting about it. I believe that most people are now aware of it; it does not need to be advertised, but I believe that testimonials are the best way to spread the word because the price is currently extremely high, and it has the potential to make anyone wealthy. I was astounded at how well-known bitcoin is now, compared to when only a few people knew about it and assumed it was a hoax and illegal.

That for me would be close to impossible and it's not going to be the biggest reason most of the time because not every country is influential. Look at El Salvador, what they did was big but it didn't resonate for far too long in the community, China's minor involvements in the past might've been bigger than the El Salvador.

IMO, there's no need to have that type of news just for the sake of increasing its popularity. Most of the media are already there covering and waiting for the correction and skyrocketing of bitcoin and that's what they've been doing most of the time. If there are hacks, they're going to make news out of it as quickly as they can. In the essence of popularity, bitcoin is increasing it naturally. Whether there are good news or bad news or none of them, bitcoin will continue to gain fame.

Crypto currency is different from entertainment because somehow it would bring a bad name to the people once it is branded just like how the entertainment industry delivers it. We don't need that kind of news because it's not for entertainment Bitcoin is like a business talk like Forex, Bloomberg, etc., It should be that way they should talk about crypto currency as how the market moves and not the other way around.

And all we need to hear/read from the news is the government making less effort to make Bitcoin as useful just like how they use fiat. And also, a bigger and wider adoption news all over the world is what we all need to hear.

Since we are referencing it with the entertainment industry one can refer it to the hollywood stars for that matter. The good news would be, all the marvel movies henceforth will be paid out in the cryptocurrency payment forms. All the stars and crews will get paid with crypto currency. Considering the budget of marvel movies which can go crazy millions of dollars to a billion too, one could see fans going num on the whole thing and could start investing money in the crypto world. This will drive the market capital to good amount. The resulting market will publish the crypto usage to whole world in natural way. There won't be any best news than this mate! Because as far as hollywood is considered, the money that moves in and out is big.

I agree with these points! These incidents can act as catalysts for the next bull run of bitcoin. However, I hate to see point number [2] happening! I certainly don't think it is a great things when corporates pour in billions of dollars into bitcoin. It definitely increases the demand in the market and temporarily increase the price. Many people would earn money out of that bull cycle. But in a decentralized ecosystem like bitcoin, it's not good to have few corporates in a position to control the entire market. That could be super bad for the bitcoin market.

We have seen enough market manipulation already. That needs to stop firstly!

Both needs to be in the news with positive remarks so people will keep on patronizing it. They both need to be publicized too with persuasive comments in order to pique the interest of money. It is not only one news we need for cryptocurrency gain increase popularity, instead we need continuous, legitimate and encouraging news about it so that not only the investors will be interested with it but also the government of different countries in the world.

Untrue! If we look at this your way, everything works in this manner only, you have to keep making headlines to be popular, be it companies, be it countries, be it political leaders, be it anything around. Cryptocurrencies, in fact, should not come into the headlines for bad reasons, because if they do chances are that their prices will fall tremendously leading to great problems. I think we need only good news relating to adoption, or good developments or tie-up, for some cryptos even a tweet from Mr. Musk works like a miracle while for others you need some solid partnerships, but what you are saying doesn't really make any sense.

Been thinking - What do you think is the biggest news cryptocurrency needs that will increase its popularity?
I would say that acceptance is the biggest news, participation is like that as well. Like a news about Amazon accepting bitcoin makes bitcoin go up, even the news about it that turned out to be fake helped it go up, or it could be microsoft, or it could be any company really, whenever people hear that some place accepts bitcoin, suddenly that increases the value of bitcoin. So, what could be the biggest one yet?

Well, what about USA government supporting crypto so much that they accept paying IRS with crypto if you want to? That way whole nation could pay their taxes in crypto if they want to, and USA could have this little (well probably not so little) crypto reserves aside to make more money, like treasury basically. I would say that could be one of the biggest news yet, or making it legal tender like how El Salvador did? That would make things rolling a lot more than anything else.

I think the biggest news bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies at large needs would be for the government of World countries to adopt bitcoin as their legal tender. It would be an even bigger news if the first country to do that is China.
Not only would that cause a tremendous increase in the price of cryptocurrencies,  it would also mean that cryptocurrencies can now be used as a currency that it was actually created for. This is because the number of merchants that would accept cryptocurrencies for goods and services will be explosive.

Stars will have many fans. Fans will also promote and learn from each other. This is a good method. But the premise is that celebrities also need to understand the knowledge of cryptocurrency. This will take the lead.

With the development of crypto its celebrity has increased a lot. Most of the countries in the world are supporting crypto and its promotion has increased a lot with the addition of new companies. It is possible to make more profit with less capital if you have good knowledge about crypto and not just for influential people small traders are joining crypto companies and making their investments very attractive. Being able to do good research about the market crypto fans are growing and becoming popular.

Finally someone understands the reality. Majority of the influencer breed do not understand the long term effect of their name and reputation when linked to a scam crypto and therefore majority of popular ones try to avoid it nowadays instead of going for a quick viewership increase or a cash grab/affiliate sale.

technological advances in this modern era will make people automatically accept cryptocurrencies.
No. Technology does not make people do things. It is situations that make people adopt the digital mode of payments and that does not mean crypto directly but digital modes of fiat payment at first. Who wants to buy a specific currency that is a "Grey area" and accepted by very few merchants? Unless these things improve there will be lack in acceptance.

I think news and reality are being confused here. Entertainment methods need news to spread the word. Crypto's government acceptance and all once happens will make news but even if news was not there still its use would increase because the government would have accepted it to be used. The comparison with entertainment industry is wrong here.

Of course advertisement and marketing are very important, especially at the beginning. Crypto world is very young so it needs advertisement. I think that the best news about crypto that raises prices immediately is mention from fundamental banks, big companies, and authoritative people. But actually crypto has become an integral part of the modern economy, so it is unlikely to be forgotten even without constant news.

At the moment, it might be about this @News for cryptocurrency to sore at its best but, should it really be about this? When we look at the currency market as it relates fiat currencies, is it news that fuels its growth? Apparently not and I think the same should go for cryptos too. I agree that cryptos is no just any currency like fiat as it could serve investment purposes too and at this growth phase where, its yet to be accepted for a legal tender, it requires a lot of publicity to thrive but, news as its main drive doesn't seem like the best way for cryptos. Although, it's been helping all along because, it drives some persons to make personal research which could Foster there acceptance of the currency individually and its good. Perhaps in time, we won't be needing news no more!

Government, awareness, accessibility.

Government - I mean regulations and maybe some promotions coming from them. I know that this might not happen because we don't expect that much support from the governments but I believe that this might be helpful in increasing the popularity of cryptocurrency.
Awareness - I mean increasing the number of advertisements (legit) online and in social media platforms. Many people are using the internet right now and many are using platforms like Facebook, Twitter. Might be hard though but still I believe that this will help.
Accessibility - this is the hardest one because not all people in the world have access to tools that can access cryptocurrency.

Of course to compete with gold is very difficult, especially until now there are still many countries banned bitcoin, as we know that gold is an investment from ancient times to the future, all countries make gold as a measure of wealth, the value of gold will continue to rise even though the percentage is small while bitcoin does not guarantee that the price will be more expensive later.

if you look at the meaning of the entertainment media itself, it seems like this is too big, at least you have to specify it into a smaller scope, but actually if it is specified in smaller terms, crypto is actually already in the scope of the entertainment world because we can see Ads about crypto on social media forums and channels from YouTube, although it is still a taboo subject, crypto has begun to penetrate the entertainment world.
apart from the actual advertisement if I'm not mistaken there are already songs and even movies about bitcoin. isn't this included?
I don't understand why I have to make collaborations between the entertainment world and crypto even though this has been done a lot, such as advertisements, movies and even songs as I said above.

If that is about increasing its popularity, the adoption news will need cryptocurrency to reach many people. Although the government does not like crypto as we saw today, crypto can still survive and even reach more people. People will amaze by the price that can increase from time to time. Although the price always makes a correction, that does not mean the price will go down except for the unpopular project. But with bitcoin, people are now aware of the price, which makes them want to be involved in the bitcoin world. Social media really helps the popularity of cryptocurrency since the beginning because social media blows the news and spreads the news to many places.

As someone pointed out, it could be the adoption of governments, but that's a slippery slope and maybe the long way to go about getting recognition. I'd say, for the most part, people want to hear about crypto being more stable and the use of tech being more widespread. That type of news would get more people behind it.

The part you said crypto being more stable is a NO for me, the volatility is really what makes crypto being more profitable, so saying crypto being more stable will interest people is actually a no. Bitcoin getting more adoption and being accepted as means of payment is a good news which can actually boost it's price, for example tesla accepting bitcoin as means of payment will boost the buy force of bitcoin which will definitely increase it's price, seeing this pump many would be tempted to jump in and more people will keep buying bitcoin in order to purchase tesla.

News is very important and influential in any case, especially in the world of cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin, and positive news about bitcoin can increase its price and popularity and also increase its users significantly, and vice versa if negative news about bitcoin will reduce its popularity because of fear and also the price of bitcoin will down.

and but good or bad news about bitcoin will not be able to eliminate bitcoin, because the trust of those who have been in the industry for a long time will not affect it.

and for entertainment news, popularity is only temporary if you can't develop talent and be creative it will just disappear and vice versa.

I think the news that will put cryptocurrency in the spotlight would be that countries all over the world going for mass adoption of bitcoin. This event will surely be the talk of the town and can garner more investors along the way. The crypto community will benefit when the time comes there are more people investing in bitcoin. This will surely cause a pump because of market demand. In addition, the adoption of bitcoin by different companies and establishments can also bring a lot of people to eye on bitcoin whether to invest, save or trade which I can see a positive effect soon after. This will be a piece of good news to the existing users because we will have more options to pay for our transactions.

I disagree with your argument, those that are famous need to remain on the spotlight and they do everything they can to do so, but bitcoin doesn't need it, if bitcoin remains in the spotlight is because of its fundamental nature, bitcoin by itself does nothing to try to garner that attention, bitcoin is just a bunch of lines of code and that's it, however it is the people around it that are either trying to make the news or they just make the news anyway because of their actions.

So I do not think that there is any need to try to increase the popularity of bitcoin artificially, let bitcoin do its thing and eventually we are going to have most of the people of the world adopting it.

You are right on this one but its really good to look at that there are people who do really still get attracted with these kind of news even though not on the technical aspect but at least they do already get the main idea..

I dont see for this as a part of entertainment because investment and this one is totally in different or shouldnt really be collided. If you do really intent on finding out some pleasure
then this one isnt really fitted.

I think it's good news to educate the public about bitcoin. Because they are afraid that the news that should be good but the public responds is less attractive because of the wrong news. I think it is enough for bitcoin to be supported by the government without any government intervention. Because there will be many rules that the government will do with crypto and what is feared is losing its identity.

Why do you think that the governments wouldn't interfere with crypto related activities. They will always chase down crypto investors, why? Because people are actually earning without being taxed. Cryptocurrency is decentralised, government can't control it so they have to always find a way to regulate it.

Also, I don't think educating people will be a good news for Bitcoin to have another price run. There are actually a lot of vlogs and articles about it and It doesn't even have relevance in Bitcoin's price growth.

Play to earn games literally got super exciting and got a lot of attention just because of these situations, you could earn money by investing into it, people used to spend just few hundred, nowadays it is nearly a thousand just to start, and it is entertainment, surely you do not have to invest so much time if you do not want to, but people like to play games and the more you play the more you have fun and earn money at the same time and that is a big deal.

Surely there are gamers that make money from investing, but it is not common, there are esports people, and there are streamers, all of those make money by gaming but not a regular person, here everyone who can invest at first could make some money by gaming and there are so many gamers in the world. This caused the crypto world to get a lot more famous, the sentence "you can earn money by playing a game" is a big deal.

I don't think that the main objective should be entertainment, crypto currencies should represent the changes from some old system to the new one, better arranged, where all the people of the world can have a vote, not just a handful of people on the top!

Entertainment is something different, and we have fun with crypto in the same way we can have fun with fiat! I just think that people should be "hooked up" what crypto really represents, not just for fun you can have it with crypto!

If the popularity of cryptocurrencies continues to increase, this is actually a good sign. As more and more people invest in crypto, this year alone
many institutions have started investing in Bitcoin. Of course, this will continue to grow, so cryptocurrency is on the right track now. It's just
a matter of time for the governments of all countries in the world to accept and legalize cryptocurrencies. We must be patient so that Bitcoin is
accepted in all countries in the world, it does require a long process, because it is not easy for the government to accept Bitcoin that cannot be controlled.

No I don't think so because whether publicity or not people needs to spend money to buy their basic needs, the reason why you think crypto needs publicity to stay alive is because it is mostly speculative and not base on actual usage, maybe when crypto has reach the stage where it is generally accepted there won't rely on publicity.

I disagree with that. Yes you need the news to be relevant, but it’d good that you avoid bad news as much as possible. I know a lot of celebrities this day that bad news has ruined their career and they are now nowhere to be found, nobody talks about them any longer, not even the news, and it looks like they have fallen into a dark pit where they will never return.

Bitcoin is still “young” and the least thing we need now is the news saying bad about Bitcoin, it’s not good. The reason why you’re still seeing bitcoin is because there are lots of good news to cover up for every single bad news that drops. Whenever they say anything bad about Bitcoin, there will always be something good that will happen to prove them wrong. If it has been just bad news, then believe me, by now we might not be talking about Bitcoin any longer. So it’s good to always try and avoid bad news, even if you have seen people who were able to stay relevant with it, the case might not be the same for you.

I am not entirely sure about that. I mean bitcoin is a counter-culture thing, it is against the elites and rich predator class. Why was bitcoin even created? Because we are in a situation where fiat is controlled by the people who are making so much more from it, not the regular people but the people that literally feed from other peoples work to get themselves rich.

So at the end of the day, why would we care that CEO's appraise bitcoin and think that it is a good thing? I mean I want bitcoin to make them mad, I want bitcoin to make them poorer, I want bitcoin to equal the playing field so that we wouldn't get screwed by governments giving rich people trillions of tax cuts while letting citizens die from starvation. Bitcoin is everything we need to fight against the tyrants of super wealthy that keeps the poor class where they are, and that should not change anytime soon.

The only news we need now is the news of bitcoin adoption by the governments through a legal framework which will pave the way for merchants to accept it with ease. That's what we need now!

I agree with you, adoption is much more important and the news is certainly a determinant of cryptocurrency growth, especially in terms of expanding Bitcoin adoption. The key is in the growth of Bitcoin adoption, so for other cryptocurrencies it can have an overall good impact.
Apart from that, news about things concerning Bitcoin are often filtered by the mainstream media when they are against the wishes of Bitcoin. This has an impact on the assumption that adoption is often a barrier. Neutral media is more about what prospects want readers. Of course this is based on crypto growth conditions which have a positive impact on news receivers.

Therefore, news surrounding adoption becomes a major point in terms of goodness for altcoins.

The word entertainment doesn't fit with cryptocurrency. The definition for entertainment and cryptocurrency is entirely different. Maybe for some assumption it can be done, but in reality both are entirely on different directions. As we get to see the existence of more and more cryptocurrencies everyday, it is clear to understand that the popularity is growing with time unlike the good and bad information being shared about the cryptocurrency network.

In my view cryptocurrency doesn't need any form of promotion, because its growth is something different from other investment/stocks. The spreading about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies happened through word of mouth. Now only advertisement promoting its need have been getting circulated.

I think the question is about 10 years late to be honest. Cryptocurrencies, particularly bitcoin have already found they marketing mix and a number of ways to make themselves be noticed and those activities have grown naturally with adoption. You start with word of mouth, then a forum, them people blog, then some exchanges make sure there are crypto outlets, .. everything is going as it should be, including now the mainstream trading houses and brokers - investment bankers using their channels to make further noise.

Entertainment is an applicable aspect of cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency includes many other things like management, automation, security, safety, decentralized finance...
Current uses of crypto are being found in much NFT play to earn games and may change in the future as businesses adopt more crypto applications.
I do not agree with the classification of crypto as entertainment. It is scientific and has a broader application space than the word entertainment.

I am very right, bad news only brings insecurity for everyone, in fact sometimes they use it for manipulation, many who want to buy cheap use the news so that weak hands can sell cheap and as much BTC as possible, sometimes it is Seen as a strategy by some whales, which are the ones that often generate this type of news, when you have the full conviction that things will work out, the news that is generated can be many, the important thing of all is that you have the trust and never get carried away by the FUD.

The hype on every news feeds is one of a key factor to consider cryptocurrency's increasing popularity of this modern days. Some would be good and might be bad depending with the content of their news and articles, because when bitcoin rises abundantly there's a lot of FUD paid by rich investors who's aim was to take down bitcoin cryptocurrency. Everything within competition would rather be good and evil, at least they'll going to create negative images to their rival in business.
It's more like a circus of ideas which became an entertainment for everyone, the more it's trending the it will become so popular.

People need to access information and enter the world of cryptocurrencies. We have an advantage that people can access them through a telephone.
People's need to earn a living wage is making Axie Infinity such a popular game and allowing more developers to create more games with the ability for their users to "play to earn".
What is happening is that the community itself is taking the first step of searching and choosing, they no longer look for advertising on TV, they find it on social networks and first-hand.
Reason why I believe that advertising in cryptocurrencies should be reinvented, we have gotten used to testing the product and making it popular.

Cryptocurrencies are things that can change the world of transactions for the better, I'm sure if all countries legalize cryptocurrencies it will create the same convenience and price standards so that the economies of developing and developed countries are not too far away.

Bitcoin advertisement or promotion by celebrities are always good to make people interested in bitcoin but the most important thing is the acceptance by governments or everything that will ease people to use bitcoin. Today there are many countries start to accept bitcoin, if government accept bitcoin then bitcoin related company will grow easier. I think the news that we need is bitcoin acceptance by governments.

Cryptocurrencies are like celebrities as you are trying to put it. They need to be relevant to stay afloat in the market, they need public attention for people to engage in them, and once they served their purpose, there's no telling what the future will be for them. But unlike celebrities who only rely on shows and appearances to remain relevant, cryptocurrencies can remain relevant for the years to come either by remaining in the market as a powerful contender, as in the case for bitcoin, or implementing a very functional design and project right at its conception that could fill the niche that the market needs.

I don't think that's what OP meant by the post, but let's assume influencers and celebrities do invest in bitcoin and shill it in their respective platforms out of pure support for the cryptocurrency, they will leave a bad taste in people's mouths when bitcoin dumps in value, which is definitely not good for their career as they rely on the public's good interest for them to receive projects, this doesn't happen with bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency for that matter.

I admit that the increasing popularity of cryptocurrencies is indeed a factor in the many news circulating on the internet about cryptocurrencies.
Therefore, if there are influencers or celebrities who promote crypto, surely crypto will very significantly increase in popularity and it will make
the price of Bitcoin go up. But on the other hand, this will be used by rich people who really want to manipulate for personal gain. It is usually
rich people who have large amounts of Bitcoin, will spread FUD to make Bitcoin price fall and they can collect Bitcoin by buying from panicked
investors. So in the crypto world, news is indeed a key factor in price movements in the market.

If the government support crypto by adopting and introduce it to people as currency then they will start to use it as an alternative to fiat.

While influencers can create huge impact as well if they promote crypto, because we know these influencers has many followers that look up and believing on them.

Indeed. It seems that influencers and the government maybe are the top reason for crypto to be widely accepted and gain popularity. Crypto provides its own entertainment for a trend, as long as we provide and give satisfaction to the users, it will surely reach out more people in the online community. We can create news as long as it provides value to the target audience. Influencers give a huge impact to crypto if they help promote it because as we know influencers has lot of followers which will help crypto boost and support by everyone.

For now it seems a bit difficult to see Bitcoin can be legalized by the government as a means of payment,
and if I see the development of Bitcoin so far I am really satisfied,
apart from that, all promotions carried out by celebrities or famous people are very influential and have a big enough impact

Not only celebrities, but also powerful people who invest in bitcoin have a significant impact on the currency. When this happens, the government is usually the first to react because they see a potential profit opportunity. I believe it is currently debatable whether the government should accept bitcoin or not; however, I believe the government should remain neutral rather than prohibiting or commenting on it, as this could have a significant impact on those who hold bitcoin and the bitcoin itself.

As someone pointed out, it could be the adoption of governments, but that's a slippery slope and maybe the long way to go about getting recognition. I'd say, for the most part, people want to hear about crypto being more stable and the use of tech being more widespread. That type of news would get more people behind it.
If not government disturbance towards cryptocubutrrency i think cryptocurrency have dominate all over the world, shall they did not still stop it's development and awareness across the nation, but what we should know today is that the level cryptocurrency entrainment most especially bitcoin can't be compared with any other manual business, and from my perspective no information or news will drag cryptocurrency back.

The only news we need now is the news of bitcoin adoption by the governments through a legal framework which will pave the way for merchants to accept it with ease. That's what we need now!

Bitcoin wouldn't thrive without granular level adoption. Whales are not so important for the survival of bitcoin. But we need granular level adoption and for that we need legal framework from various governments of the world. Such things might trigger the next bull run and make it even more popular!

Government adoption through a legal framework will be the be the biggest news of the century more than any amount of bitcoin moved from one account to another by any whales. And not just any government but the world's superpowers. I anticipate this everyday and will not give up home.

This statement is absolitely true, news, whether good or bad, acts like a promotion for cryptocurrencies but there is one thing that people forget. Not only positive news in a row gives you a great advantage to sell higher in future but you can do exactly the same even on bad news. Let's have a look at both cases:
1. Imagine, there are positive and positives news frequently and the cryptocurrency that you bought at past is rising and rising. But then somehow happens the second case - 2. One terrible news is posted. What do you do at the moment? Sell right away or wait for weeks/months/years and sell then? This is the situation where you forget one thing - you can profit even in bad cases. Just sell right away when you hear terrible news that can destroy the bitcoin's price and immediately open the short position in futures trading.
It's as easy as ABC.

I think working in cryptocurrency is a pleasure. I am very happy in investing in cryptocurrencies, I feel in the last two years many people and communities are using cryptocurrencies. The most popular cryptocurrencies today are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana.  If cryptocurrencies were more secure, I'm sure more people would be interested.

For enthusiasts, maybe I really agree with that but here, especially in investing, I think this kind of thing is not a job but just a sideline, just like we save for a better future.
but talking about enthusiasts will indeed be like that because it is getting more and more enthusiasts from crypto and from various regions and parts of the world.
apart from some news, both positive and negative, it becomes one of the main attractions because the more crypto is reported, the more people know, and the more people know and learn about crypto, the more people adopt crypto. so I'm grateful to be on the right track right now.

BTC and its features BTC as well as the profits that BTC will bring them in the future, such as this investment is profitable or can be kept for a long time to get retirement. all are very clearly stated in the news sections and the benefits it brings.

Well governments could drag crypto back? I am not saying they should or they are or they may, I have no idea what governments will do, but they can do that. Look at China and look at El Salvador, one of them hates bitcoin with a grudge and even banned miners, which is an idiotic idea because miners are getting free money into the nation, you are spending some energy and in return getting billions into the nation as well, combine gpu and asic miners in china all together and I am sure it is billions coming from other nations into China which was awesome for them.

However they still banned it for some reason. On the other hand take a look at El Salvador, they made it a legal tender, they like bitcoin enough to basically have it as their nation money now. Long story short it is obvious that not every nation could do the same thing but there could be some different ones.

So at the end of the day, we are talking about something that already happened. Good tweets and bad tweets then expect something like this because not anytime sentiments like this could worked but its impossible that the market will not really make out reactions specially the man or guy do make

out some words is something that is relevant on investment world since he's a billionaire then its just not surprising on having these kind of reactions.Entertainment is something a personal point of view

specially dealing with this market, some are really that serious and some do mix out some interest and entertainment but its really hard to deny that we are serious here because we are risking our hard earned money.

Is there anything better than all the millionaire stories that already exist about people who bought bitcoin when it was obscure and now each coin is worth $45,000?  This singlehandedly is the reason there are so many garbage alt coins and why so many people buy those garbage alt coins.  An unpleasant fact for crypto is that the number of people who actually care about it as a technology or a currency is very few, and people only care about it as far as it making them rich quick.  Getting rich quick is the point of 99% of alt coins and the reason people buy them.

News has a certain influence on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. When the country legalizes cryptocurrency or uses bitcoin as legal tender, it can increase people's trust and popularity of cryptocurrency.
And the active talk of public figures on cryptocurrency will also have a positive impact on it and increase the popularity of cryptocurrency. For example, with the emergence of the news that Elon Musk supports Bitcoin, the price of bitcoin has also shown an upward trend.

WE should really be serious on this one because we are risking our money through investments which it is just right that we should really be mindful

Crypto news has different positive and negative effects on cryptocurrencies.
  • News on the legality of cryptocurrencies can let more people know about Bitcoin, increasing its usage and popularity. The news that the country accepts Bitcoin as a legal currency can allow more governments and institutions to understand cryptocurrencies in depth and increase their trust, which is conducive to the popularity and better development of cryptocurrencies in the future.

Crypto news helping more peoples to understand about this concept because right now it's very important for awareness now many peoples understand how blockchain and then Defi change the world bringing billions of USD in investments after these we have more advance level which is NFT these revolutionary things need more advertisement.

In last few months we are watching most of developed countries supporting cryptocurrency and helping big techs to develop more awareness about this which is really great even we still have serious issues in third world developing countries.

You are right, although third world countries have understood that through the traditional economy they will never have an advance nor can they emerge, their possibilities of growing or even being rich do not exist, so for those who have some savings if they have the possibility. Investing in NFT games or NFT pre-sale increases greatly, that is, I have witnessed how one person put all his liquidation money, which was approximately 500USD, entrusted it to his son and increased it to only 1500USD In a matter of 3 minutes, he had a profit of x3, precisely with the so-called crypto cars, he managed to enter the pre-sale and sold, he had a x3, this is a way that is risky, but it can be done. get results fast.
