A little back story; we will call the victim X. X met this beautiful on a telegram group(non crypto related btw) they got talking. After chatting for some days and exchanging pictures she introduces her new friend to an investment opportunity she's been benefiting from. Few hours after investing X was asked to pay $122 to verify his account. The scammers did not bother for kyc all they were interested in was the money. When he refused to pay, he was blocked. This was when X realized he was being scammed. |
