Title: If your country does not have a vaccine, which country would you choose?
Post by: caryoscar on August 21, 2021, 07:44:13 AM
My friend in Vietnam said that if they were vaccinated with Japan and the United States, they could go abroad freely. If they were vaccinated with China, they were not allowed to go to countries like the United States and Japan. Can anyone objectively talk about the vaccines for China and the United States?

Vaccines created by China isn't recognised as a complete covid vaccine so some countries doesn't accept it as vaccine and treat them as non vaccinated people. Pfizer is used by USA to vaccinate most of their people but the government of Vietnam decide which vaccine is to be allowed there.

It involves a trade war.

The US is always against China and most allies of the US will have the same thought against the Chinese vaccines. Seafarers and other workers that has to go abroad, they're required with US or EU vaccine or any vaccine as long as it's not from China.

I do not think about go to other countries because I do not have much money to travel out of my country. Besides that, I still prefer to stay at home because this pandemic is not yet ending, and I want to spend my time with my family. But I think that is because the relationship between China and the United States is not good or something wrong happened, but we do not know what it is.

who will decide about this? US? EU? lol they only claims this because of the trade war and they can buy all media outlet just to spread this news but the truth is they hate how china handles the covid virus while they took year before finding the cure.

AFAIK, WHO decides that and probably no one decides that only the government which is going to consume can. At the moment governments are staking vaccines for themselves only instead of giving it to the ither country even for the money while China is ready to give based on lown trap contracts.

In my country the nobody talks about the Chinese vaccines, there was no testing done and they are not accepted. Even the Russian Sputnik vaccine is still in testing and not yet approved. If you can choose I would recommend to go for an USA vaccine because its known all around the world. I saw that in Vietnam people were offered Pfizer vaccine but when they went there it was the Chinese vaccine, so everybody went home again.

Could that mean certain countries won't allow you in if your vaccination is done in a particular country or if you use certain vaccines? Well, that probably makes sense if it's done due to lack of cooperation amongst the countries or if they don't follow thesame safety standards.
Will probably never travel to countries that require vaccination unless there are other ways to get there without getting vaccinated. Will be willing to use mask in crowded places instead

The USA vaccine is much better the covid-19 vaccine will serve as an important tool to help control the epidemic if effective testing and adaptation to existing immunizations. A number of promising vaccines are under review in the pipeline for approval and the competition for safe and effective vaccines has now begun a new chapter as pfizer bioentech and moderna and oxford astrazeneca vaccines have been approved for use by several stringent national regulatory bodies.

That's what I'm talking about mate , WHO does not really stands for everyone as that is controlled by EU and US and the fight against china is always there.

anyway lets see in the future what would be the effect of vaccines .

Don't forget that the same WHO helped China when they are trying to hide the news of covid spread initially by saying don't close the borders since covid is not a communicable disease

At present I am very happy that vaccines are being given in our country now. In our country now vaccines are being delivered in every city, in every town, in every village for the safety of the people because people have to survive.  He must be vaccinated for everything he does to run his family and to keep his family healthy. I think this should be done in every country. Every person in every country should be vaccinated because people will live in pity now. People will die without vaccines so people must survive.  I will tell those countries that have not yet been vaccinated to look at their neighbors. I think they need to be vaccinated.

I think I will boarding fly to the UK...

I don't believe countries in Asia have professional health services compared to the UK. I didn't choose the USA because I heard that racism against Asian races has increased there since this pandemic spread.

If our country dint had a vaccine then would have chosen the nearest country only since it was more like a lockdown situation to travelling any other destination country would not be a good at this point as could not have travelled to places. SO choosing the nearest get vaccination and come back would only be the key.

That's truth in many Asian countries but with that comparison, third world countries to first world countries.

Well, they, the first world countries really have better health care programs. Just go down the map and look at New Zealand, they're known at mitigating the virus.

This is not right I was vaccinated with Sinovac and I have the same protection as those vaccinated with other vaccines, the World Health Organization have approved these vaccines, all vaccines have undergone clinical studies and they all passed the test, our government do no allow picking a particular vaccine, the most important is you are already vaccinated and you are protected.

As citizens, we can only follow what our government suggests because we do not have a choice to vaccinate with Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, or else. That will depend on what our government supplies, but I am sure that our government will use almost all pharmacy companies and try to protect their citizens. And before the vaccine distributes to the country, the World Health Organization will check and verify that the vaccine is safe for people.

None, I do not want to do vaccines yet, since it is not necessary
