So here's the current prices and codes I offer.

3 Months premium or 6 months unlimited: 3.28 BTC
6 months premium or 12 unlimited: 6.56 BTC

I have updated the prices to reflect the recent change in Bitcoins, down from 3$ per BTC to 2.7$ per BTC.

Not saying this is a scam, but there has not been a single person selling Spotify codes that has NOT been, ultimately, a scam in the end.  Beware - lots of times Spotify codes are purchased with stolen credit cards and don't show up for a month or even two - then your account is disabled and Spotify won't even talk to you about it.  You are just plain out of luck and out of BTC.

I am aware of this as I tried buying codes myself a while ago and noticed that none sells them that aren't scamming people. I am not a 100% if the codes will work as I will purchase them in Sweden and give them to someone else outside of Sweden, they might take a way the premium from your account which is why I offer payback until I am more certain of how Spotify deals with these kinds of things. As for the codes, they will arrive later on today and once you have sent me the BTC I will send you the code. This is something I do as I want to contribute to the Bitcoin community and offer a service that will help support it :)

Actually, it's not you that I would question, but the source that you are getting your codes from?  That has been the problem in the past...

Indeed, they are purchased from a honest retailer, so where they come from and that they are legit I can promise. What I am not 100% on yet is if they are region locked, which is why I am offering a refund if it turns out that they are region locked.

So is evoorhees offering refunds if you ended up disappearing?  :)  I may bite if that's the case.

I will not disappear, I will stay here and stick to this :), I am sure Evoorhees would keep me to my word, as my Starcraft 2 clan are sponsored by them and I am the leader of this clan. Me, Evoorhees and the developer from sc2btc.com have a daily contact over skype. So for me to be able to abandon this I would have to abandon the whole of my Starcraft clan which I have spent almost a year setting up. TBH to go through all of this to scam someone on like 8 BTC feels like it's not really worth it xD I will stay and I will do my best to offer you a reliable service :)

This might not be a scam, but I don't really see the point in buying these codes. A month of Spotify Premium would cost me 99 SEK if I pay directly to Spotify, but 6 BTC is roughly 120 SEK.

Not everyone lives in Sweden and have access to the codes, also not everyone has a credit card to pay for them. This is a way to pay for them using Bitcoin without any hazzle or trouble.

On another note, I do not take payments in Paypal or anything similar simply because I do not which to be scammed and the transactions reversed, I only take payments in BTC. I am going to purchase more codes tomorrow morning, so please place your orders before that to get them quickly filled :)

Added a in stock list, so you guys can see what I in stock atm. Anything listed in on the in stock list can be sent out immediately after the payment has been received. If you place a order of something that's not in stock it will take 1-2 days for me to get the code to you :)

Are those prices in the OP correct?  You're charging almost 50 bucks for a 3 month code and $93 for a 6 month?

I charge about 48$ for the 3 month code and 89$ for the 6 month code, this is a couple of dollars over the retail price from where I purchase the code, I take a couple of dollars as fee for delivering the codes and taking the payments in BTC. I do not believe they are overprices.

That sounds weird because in Sweden it's 99 SEK which is about 15 USD for a 1 month code, The price in the UK is even more expensive of 10 pounds for a 1 month code. From the spotify site I can not check the US prices and I am not sure if they are sold yet in the US, but if what you are saying is true then it's 5$ cheaper to buy the codes in the US then it is to buy them in Sweden. Which seems very odd.

Personally, I think $10/mo is too much, too.

I was not aware of that the price was so cheap in the US, it's probably due to that they just launched over there. I am not ripping anyone of or have any intention of doing so, if you can look at my link which is the EU version all the prices are 50-100% more expensive than the US once, why I do not know. I think this is because it was recently launched in the US and it might be a part of a marketing campaign
I will be selling them for the price that I can get them for, if I would sell them for 10$ then I would go with a 50% loss. So I have no intention of lowering my price to those in the US when I get my codes from Sweden.

Edit: US do not yet have codes that you can purchase only subscriptions, so comparing the prices would not be the same. I am also guessing on that the cheap subscription costs are due to a marketing campaign as they recently launched in the US. As stated before the code prices will be based of the Swedish cost and not the US cost for a 1 month code.

I can't see Spotify raising their prices.  $10/mo is what Rdio charges and most people I know think $10/mo is already too much.  There's no way Spotify could compete here in the US if they raised their prices.

Okay, Yea it seems very odd for them to charge so much more in EU countries than in the US. I guess it might be taxes and such as they are pretty high in Sweden.
