Title: Pi Network, Could it be a new coin?
Post by: tnyldzerdm60 on August 26, 2021, 08:25:36 PM
What do you think about the PI network coin?

I have been digging in PI network for about 8 months. I got 1200 Pi's. Do you think this coin can enter the market? Do you have any research on Pi coin? Is there an expectation and a predicted value for the Pi coin?
Here's how it actually works:
Almost all cryptocurrencies in the market today are scraped with graphics cards and a tremendous amount of electricity is spent. Pi, unlike these, allows you to dig without the need for internet and electricity after entering the Pi Network. Once you start this excavation process through mobile applications, even if you turn off your phone, Pi Network continues the excavation process.

It is impossible. Picoin can be the next biggest deception. It has lured millions of people into joining the network. Although you do not have to put any money in this app, they might steal your data in the way you cant imagine. In my country, people say that there is nothing to lose as a argument whenever they want to protect this shady and nonsensical app. My honest advice: Delete it. Do not waste your time

If you truly want to waste your time, The Alien World is the better option

Almost all cryptocurrencies in the market today are scraped with graphics cards and a tremendous amount of electricity is spent.

That is the reason why other coins have value, you need effort and cost of each unit mined. On the other hand, why should people give value to coins that don't need anything to get them? Instead of buying, everyone can earn it easily by what they call "mining".

If it can enter the market then they should have entered long time ago. Now, they're just being advertised by many people that are not yet into crypto and those people believes that they'll earn it by the end of the year.

Sorry to say that but that's a coin that's unlikely to have a value as promised.

If I try to recall, this Pi network has been around for a very long time and yet they can't point out what actually is delaying them from moving forward, that is, as far as I know the only thing Pi network has offered over the years is a mining app, of which a lot of people know that mining cryptocurrencies through mobile app is just a waste of time, thus same can be attributed to Pi network.
Also, another problem is, a lot of people who have started with this project for a long time might probably have lost interest because of no clear direction of the project.
Therefore if I am to advise, I would say don't expect much from them, focus on other crypto platforms that are willing to offer a workable products and services; of course you can still continue mining since you have come a long way but don't expect much.

Pi network has been running for a long time and until now there has been very little progress, even Pi can't be traded yet (no price and no exchange), so it makes me bored to wait and do mining Pi, because I don't think it's profitable for me, so now I'm quitting to mining Pi until Pi network can actually give me a profit.

I have forgotten when I deleted the PI app from my phone. I've been operating this app for a long time, but there are too many false promises and unclear timelines about listing PI tokens on the market.
I agree if someone says PI will be a big scam, even though the team still seems active, but there is no real progress that can be felt by the community.
I stopped operating the PI app then deleted it and stopped expecting anything of value from PI.

You have done a very good job and very wise, because by you stop mining on PI, then your time to focus on other work will feel easier, because wasting time on things that are not at all useful is a very bad job to do.

Why wasting time on a token that can never go anywhere even with there enthusiastic promises of it entering into the market. This is twenty first century for crying out loud. I see no reason why a mere app with different lies of mining capacity, continuously informing people of becoming rich just by downloading there app and using it to mine. Where in Earth can you mine with phone.

When I was introduced to the Pi platform I was not moved by their promises cause I know that nothing good comes easy. Maybe we should continue anticipating for the token to enter an exchange but if our doubt can be corrected.

After what happened with dogecoin, I quit being an unbeliever, Infact, i now believe that anything in crypto is possible after God almighty, I've been minning pi for a while now, and I have just about the same amount as the op.

my advice is, if you are mining, keep mining, but if you are not, it cost nothing other than your time to start mining as well, not believing might just make you loose out if eventually at the end of the day, pi becomes a huge project that benefits every one of those who are mining to coin now.

It has been years and I don't understand why this coin has not hit in the market yet? I don't think, there is future on this network. But I respect all those believers of this coin, they can continue mining as it is their prerogative to do that. But hopefully, they will not regret venturing into this coin. Is there any indication that the team behind this project is still working?

I had never heard about this altcoin, so as soon as I read about this altcoin in this thread I decided to research this altcoin and the amount of nonsense I found was many, there are people who believe that this coin will reach $10, other people believe that this coin will reach $100 in 2025, but this is pure illusion, a lie that people are making up in their heads as if it were true. look at how many exchanges listed this currency? I didn't see any big exchange listing this altcoin, and why is it? there are good projects, I don't understand why anyone still wastes time with projects like the one that the OP posted

pi network is suspicious project and most possibly it's community fans never trade it, many peoples mining it long time but they did not disclose about exchange listing yet. still why people wasting time to mining this coin.

Pi network is very popular for people who have little knowledge or no knowledge in crypto, but it's here based on what I read, there a little chance that Pi network could succeed in the future as it cannot even enter in a small exchange or into a scammy exchange. if they really are serious with their future, at least they should make this coin available in CMC so everyone can check it easiy.

I am wondering why this coin was mined by millions of followers right now, but unfortunately there's no actual trading happening. The popularity has now begun because of their mining app which earn pi token through Virtual mining, and I would hope so that for future developments of this project would technically be listed on trusted exchange. However, if everyone would be able to use this coin for basic commodities I guess it would become valuable.

That is because of how these people are blindly hoping that they'll earn free money from this app.

If they want to get listed on an exchange, they've done that long time ago but with millions of users downloading the app, they'll drop downhill if they'll put it quickly into the exchanges because everyone will be dumping it at the same time.

The devs know the ins and outs of it and they're just enjoying the hype from it while getting the benefits from these users.

It would cause a huge fall once hype of price will tend to exist, but I don't think so if they'll get benefits from so called miners because as per review they don't launch an investment yet. However, when trading starts I believed buyers of their PI coin would probably suffer if every huge dump happens and not the miners because they're just selling their free coins without any centavo invested.

Even it won't exist.

There's already a free-fall that's about to happen with this coin. Actually, it has been there and many have noticed it already but there's no really actual thing that happens.

And those people that have efforted and spent their time on it will be frustrated.

This really made me frustrated while mining process on my phone still continue to run . I've been mining this coin since last yet, unfortunately they're just making promises for more developments but still nothing happened. So I guess this network as per judgement I had was not really doing good and wouldn't going to be a new coin.

only new people to crypto believe them and all what they claim to be, and by new i mean really new, i had a friend who never didn't know about crypto until i told him about it like a year ago and he came up to me once telling me how cool this new project is and how easy it is to earn with it, and it was the first time i heard about it and his explanation about how it works made no sense to me, it can't be worth anything, because it's nothing just an idea.
also, what's up with those newbie accounts who are defending them everywhere in bitcointalk and posting about them exaggerated positive things, are they actual people who believe this crap or is it the team that's behind it ?! i am thinking it's the last one.

Honestly, I find you to be quite patient when it comes to spending a lot of time hoping all day long for what it promises. Trust me you guys are really wasting your time, I really can't believe this stage of technology and many people still have such a blind belief, actually google doesn't charge for answering the above questions. And if the owl continues to argue about something like this, it will not bring you value for knowledge or money.

Don't be fooled by fake promises , this project is a liar since the beginning as they are claiming to be the First mineable cryptocurrency while there are already many coins who is mineable from the start but all end of dying project if not scamming.
so please be aware of this or else you will end up losing your time and effort for nothing.
stay away from this coin and instead use your time in other bounties that may generate you real income if not that consuming.
in our local section this has been advertised 2 years ago but gain nothing but attact from knowledgeable members who knows that this has no future at all.

And as far as I know, they are requiring you to complete the KYC for those who will use the app.
Curious what they are doing now with all those info that they gathered who willingly submitted their vital docs.
This article below provided the details on how KYC is done for this Pi network.

https://www.cozycrypto.com/pi-network-kyc-verification/

And with those million of users who downloaded the app and keep on mining, the big question is, will they ever hit the exchange?
Or this is just a lost cause for those who are diligently mining this coin and still hoping that one day, it will finally hit the market.

This coin has been going for so long without any noticeable improvement both in price and user. They did get a lot of shills last year but slowly, that number simmer down since most just realize this coin is going to nowhere. The number of Pi coins circulate also a huge number so I don't think anyone wants to buy it.
But still there are many people who believes this will bring them fortune in the future that's why they are willing to download, mine and even providing KYC praying to earn Crypto and become a holder soon.
How many years this is existing yet none has earning any peanut?
sorry for those who had been involving in this project but surely you are expecting nothing from this.

there is no mistake in looking for chances but at least make sure that there are a true potential and not just a tricky project.

People who don't want to buy PI coins are not because of the large number of circulations, but because of the lack of good development and also the lack of renewal that is needed by everyone who wants to use it, so I think that reason is more concrete.
I wish we will know how many coins are in circulation already, it's no present in CMC but we can find in https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/pi-network-iou but unfortunately, there are no enough details that we want to know.

According to https://www.quora.com/How-many-Pi-network-coins-are-there, there's an estimate of 30-50 billion Pi, huge supply but not that huge enough since we have some projects here like Cardano which has 32 billion circulating supply, and yet the price is still very bullish.

Whatever the reason, is it because of their huge supply or lacking development, etc. I personally didn't see any decent potential on this project, since a bunch of people already bad-mouthing and avoid this coin. I'm a bit wondering why people like OP still believe in them for so long, I didn't understand it at all.  ???

Maybe we will keep track of this coin until it hits the exchanges, a good thing OP has brought this discussion so everyone will be aware of how legitimate the coin is. I've only seen a lot of referrals of this project so far and I say it's not a great way to attract investors, they should be more transparent but educating people about the project and not enticing them about the reward, I bet those who forward the referral links or whatsoever has no clear idea what project they are promoting.

Myself used it for some time period. The way it has been promoted around easily makes people believe and start producing it. Most of the users mentioned about the delay in getting into the market. This is too late to get into the market. For years the network is run and more people have got millions of token with them. The only thing happened to me is the battery drain. As the application runs on the background it kills the battery.

Just google "Pi Network Scam" and you will see why people think it's a shitty scam coin. There is no actual work progress, nor is there any working chain. It's more like a Pyramid/MLM scheme. Who knows what they are "mining" (using your phones computational power) on your phone. Most of the people are saying that they are collecting user data and selling them. They are making all  the money, while you are getting nothing.
