Take a moment to close your eyes and remember what it was like growing up, having childhood vision of what you wanted to become in life, the happiness and thrill you felt as you were asked the question "what would you like to become in future.

The grim reality is, while a few of us achieved our vision, majority did not.

All my life I've worked hard to ensure no child should ever have to go through what the majority went through

One of the ways I've done this is to have wester field college organized a  free career open day.

Mine was probably doctor or some sort of healer. I guess school made me unqualified because it was trying to make me to be like them or who I was not.
Today I see people suffering from what can easily be treated/cured and it's heart breaking. And people should be helped to live healthy life the right way.  It's quite risky to help people who are under the system, so I will stick with my real family members in the future and those who need my help & are trustworthy. .

As a teenager I always dreamed of travelling the world, becoming a famous actor and having the chance to work with beautiful girls. It never dawned on me to become an engineer.

I wanted to be a cartoonist when I was a kid.

It was two.

To become a successful businessman and a seafarer. While I'm growing up, I don't even know how to swim so that's why forget about the latter.

As a businessman, I think that I'm on the right path while doing it with another job. I'll quit my job when my businesses are already stable.

When I was growing up my dream was to be a pilot and a teacher but it has not only turned into a dream but now I have to move slowly and patiently in every task take occasional breaks. Keep yourself steady listen to yourself spend some time each day in silence and solitude give yourself time give yourself time to equip your feelings and thoughts this will allow you to stay in touch with your dreams and goals the desires will also survive.

I dream to be a Doctor when i was young , and then i turned out as an artist for a while  but ended up as a government worker lol.

I wanted to be a doctor but everything all changed because I couldn't meet cutoff mark for medicine and surgery

As a child, I dreamed of being an artist, but I ended up studying to be a director.

I dreamed of becoming a painter, director, and singer, but I ended up studying to be a director.

For sure it wasn't this life. But this isn't my nightmare also. When I was asked what do you want to be first, I said I want to be a supermarket owner when I was 6 years old :D In this way i would easily get the snacks :D In the time my dreams changed the many shape but I always wanted to live in a deserted island all by alone. Maybe in the future i can find my deserted island :)

I still remember my dream when I was little was to become a doctor...

but over time I have to realize that the money spent on going to medical school is not small while my parents only have a middle economy. In my country, what determines a person can achieve his dream is money or the influence of their parents.

Actually it has never been so clear from the start, I'll joke about some and not take some to mind.
Although my parents wanted the idea of been a doctor, my path got clearer and I have decided it's playing football professionally.
Maybe I'll say I was a joker from the scratch ☺️.

Growing up, I wanted to be a doctor not because I cared about medicine but because of the way folks reacted whenever I gave them that response. In fact in the society I lived while growing up unless you wanted to be a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer then you are "like worthy to be sent" to the university other than these fields nothing. At some point I wanted to be a Pastor. I thank God my family talked me out of it otherwise I would have had a miserable life. Why? Because, that's not my calling. Right now I just want to be happy, be a better human and leave the world a better place than I met it.

My dream is to be rich，But I want to make a wish that is hard to come true.

I always dream to become one of the best pilot but due to the background of my family which there is no money to sponsor me to my dream, i ended working in a golf course as a caddy but God wish is the best.

My dream as a kid was to be a spaceman! I know... weird!

Luckily, I outgrew that. Now I just want to be an ordinary astronaut.

I want to become Rich and help people and put smile to them, I'm always like to help people who need help because i believed it a good things to lift someone up.

Dunno really, I wanted to be a footballer but obviously that was unlikely to happen. At one stage I wanted to be a firefighter. I just have to settle with being a bitcoin OG :D

My dream while growing up was to be an airline pilot.

However I realized as I got older that I get severe motion sickness when I am in an airplane.

Therefore I do not feel like my childhood dream was the best fit for my physiology.

7 out of 10 children has the same answer while the 2 answers Doctor and the 1 is teacher .. some answers firefighter while others has no plan at all lol.


Growing up? looking for freedom? who held you? are you imprison since birth?

What I didn't want to be when I was little, I wanted to be a cook and a veterinarian and an artist, but I ended up studying advertising.

I do not remember my dream when I was a kid or when I was growing up. I grew up with a hard way but I have many dreams that I want to achieve someday. But then, day by day, I realized that I could not even achieve what I wanted in the past.

So I decided to let it go and just start a new life and hope to live better day by day. Related to my dream or what I want to achieve now, it is so simple. I only want to see my parents live happily for the rest of their age and I want to give them the best thing for their lives.

Life is so simple, do not make it hard.

When I was 8 years old I had a dream to be an astronaut, it would be nice if I could go to space. But as a teenager I started learning about
outer space, and I found it quite scary going into space. So I started to change my dream to become a successful entrepreneur, because I see
the life of a successful entrepreneur is fun. We can achieve financial freedom if we become successful entrepreneurs, and until now my dream
has not been achieved. But I will not give up and will try to reach it.

I had the dream of being either an astronaut or an engineer when I was young because they both sounded so cool–ending up taking communication because I hated math. Lmao. I envy those who have a natural affinity with math.
