Title: PancakeSwap Vs Sushiswap – Which is Better?
Post by: Yalalagh on September 09, 2021, 12:27:42 PM
TL;DR The DeFi space is increasingly becoming popular in the crypto world. The same goes for the decentralized exchanges (DEXs) that are coming up to support the financial activities going on in the DeFi space. Source: https://blockster.com/blockdesk/1522_pancakeswap-vs-sushiswap-which-is-better

I personally will pick pancake over sushiswap even sushi was supporting multiple chain or i would like that call that as a cross chain swap service but the fact that if the total amount locked on the pancakeswap was far bigger compared with the sushiswap. Pancake swap has more active users compared with the uniswap and it has more liquidity as well.
Sushiswap was quite difficult to compete with the native swap from the any protocol like uniswap and pancake. People prefer to picking up the native swap that specialized in its platform instead of picking sushi. I will not say that if sushi was a bad swap but it is less popular compared with the pancake swap.
This is based on my experience and i was also seeing it based on the fact.

There are different things I will consider why I will choose Pancake swap or Uniswap.
First, high transactions - I'll go with Pancake swap to save more fees, I'm not a whale :(
Volume/TVL - Currently, Pancakeswap got a higher TVL than Uniswap but a very small difference.

I think, there's no need to compare these two since they are on separate blockchain, one is for Binance Smart Chain and one is for Ethereum.

I'm personally using Pancakeswap. I mostly like it because of some best features. Also in this platform liquidity is more than other platform. Transaction speed is much higher and best. Also transaction fee is lower that other. They have special features of Lottery and NFT. So in my opinion Pancakeswap is more better than Sushiswap.

I prefer pancake swaps and have never used sushi, because all the tokens I hold are mostly listed there, pancakes are better known than sushi, besides the trading volume in pancakes is bigger than in sushi.

Pancake has much better rewards for farms and staking. If you want much better results than pancakeswap, you should look for yield aggregator like pancakeswap, beefy finance or autofarm. They make it easier to stake on most yielding farms and staking while autocompounding themselves.

I don't know which is the best. but if the question is which one is often used, I choose pancakeswap. I always use this exchange over other DEX. for trading volume, I see pancakeswap is also bigger than sushiswap. so in general I think pancakeswap is better.

on a personal level i prefer pancakeswap platform with which i am really at ease, in my opinion it offers a wider offer, more earning possibilities and higher api than sushiswap

I won't choose any of them, but I will use Uniswap.
But the Ethereum network has very high fees, so it is better to use Level 2 solutions such as Polygon and Optimism.
I don't use Bnance chain because I want to use decentralized solutions. If binance changes its policy and adds more validators to the network, then this is a different situation. I have already written many times that it is probably easier to trade on Binance than to use Binance Smart Chain.

personally, if there are the same tokens listed in pancakeswap and sushiswap, I will choose pancakeswap to exchange the tokens I have. however, for exchanging coins, I might be more inclined to use pancakeswap than others. I've used it too many times, so it's become a habit. it will be different if the comparison is sushiswap with other DEX. I might consider, which DEX has the larger volume, and is more popular. Other than that, I'll use whatever I need.

I never used sushiswap to be honest, i don't really know the reason for that but i just never had to do that. I use pancakeswap for the tokens that i trade that are running on the binance smart chain and if i want to trade Tokens on the ethereum chain i use uniswap for that. I have not used other AMM dexes so far of other chains. That sushiswap offers a multi-chain functionality sounds great as you can do all your trades no matter on what chain they are in 1 platform and you don't have to switch around. I also like to continue to support uniswap though because they were the first of it's kind back then when they launched and without uniswap there would probably be no Defi today.

Pancakeswap and Uniswap are both extremely powerful AMMs, there are many services to offer. Pancakeswap is based on BNB and Uniswap is based on ETH platform. At the moment, most people will choose pancakeswap because uniswap runs on ERC20, so there are many issues with token deposits and withdrawal fees. ETH transaction fees are still not fully solved. However, Uniswap owns a large community, sponsors as well as human resources to develop the project. So I still believe Uniswap will win in the long term.

I think the majority transaction occurs on:
ETH - Uniswap
BSC - PancakeSwap
MATIC - QuickSwap

I have never used SushiSwap, because of the above choice. If the token support BSC, the chance is you can find it on PancakeSwap.

Both are a fork from UNISWAP.

PancakeSwap is the major exchange for BSC-chain transaction, while SushiSwap running on ETH-chain have the biggest rival is UNISWAP while most of the volume transaction AMM Exchange on ETH is from UNISWAP.

If choose between one of them, who is the winner of course "PCS" because based the most volume while PCS is a major exchange on BSC-ecosystem.

I would probably choose pancakeswap. Its easy to use platform that is very good for newbies and beginners. You can easily navigate settings and changes its slippage easily. Aside from that, BSC based projects also choose pancakeswap for its initial listings. The reason is its trading volume added by popularity. Sushiswap in the other hand is good as well. It support many chains so very good for trading. Its platforms design is quite good compare to pancake and mote professional. The downside with it in my opinion is its complexity in UI unlike pancakeswap.

PancakeSwap and Sushiswap have the same functionality and the same concept, only the effect on the transaction fees of the platform. I see PancakeSwap is more tokens that can be staked with a higher APR than Sushiswap. So that makes PancakeSwap more widely used than Sushiswap. This can be seen from the daily trading volume.

-snip-
I think we all know, how the system setting changes on every AMM exchange is almost the same and easy to be used. One thing you should, In decentralized exchange every token can be listed, what you thought about "SushiSwap" support many coin is kind absurt because other decentralized exchange is also support any token with only put the smart contract address.

I used PancakeSwap simply because the tokens i invested in the past few months were on the BSC chain and i am yet to use SushiSwap but i still remember when the creator ran away with the money and then Binance forced him to return some of the funds and with that grey reputation i will pass using them as i am not comfortable using them as there are several other options to trade.
