I believe that hope is not a strategy. So realistically most new investors loose money.

Strategy? in what term that thinking of bitcoin going to $100k is a strategy? it's a prediction and speculation that many of us believes.

They lose money because they lack of knowledge and didn't do their research before investing. They panic after investing whenever they see the price of bitcoin goes down. I've been there and many of us too that's why you have to do your research before investing.

I agree, I also see a lot of predictions about the price of bitcoin every day and most of the forecasts says that the price of bitcoin should reach 100k$ till the end of this year, but I don’t trust any forecaster, and also there are several months left until the end of this years and I don't think that bitcoin will reach 100k$ this year, and of also if you just believe that some cryptocurrencies should grow in price just like that, then its wrong, because of this you can lose all your investments if you will invest in cryptocurrencies just like that without thinking and without analysis.

I strongly believe that Bitcoin will cost even more than 100 000$ one day, but maybe we need one more bear market before it? We see the current falling that is caused by overheating. Market needs to cool down first and if people don’t leave the market during this period and there will be a new wave of hype, I think that Bitcoin will be 100 000$ eventually.

I do not believe that it will be 100k by the end of the year. However that doesn't mean that there is a zero chance that it will be 100k, I just think it is low chance ,but not zero chance. Plus if you make an "investment" to sell at 100k then you will be fine because instead of waiting until the end of the year, you will wait a bit longer but eventually one day it will be 100k no doubt. This is why I feel like it is totally understandable to make those kinds of investments.

I personally have bitcoins and I won't sell even at 100k, that doesn't mean that I will lose money, I bought way before this period, so I am already in good profit, and I am still not going to sell at 100k, so if you make investments long term, you will not lose.

Most investors will lose money only if they would sell BTC. A lot of them will do i guess. $100K is achievable goal for the end of the year but it doesn't curved in stone.

Bitcoin price will reach more than $100k but this will be not by the end of this year, I hope will be graudlly increase and after coming halving this will be more than $100k but before reach price $100k BTC price can be decrease and market can be a correction in various times.so I hope this will be $100k.

People were expecting this to happen based on their prediction and some people were also using the whole chart of bitcoin to determine what will be the next trend that may happen with bitcoin.

That's not a strategy but people were trusting bitcoin may come back again with higher ATH than the old ATH. Basically, what you're talking about a big strange. The investors must have already known that all of the risk when investing in the crypto. The investors put their money to get good return but think again the market can't be dictated.
When people are seeing bitcoin potentially to go to the as high as people expected and it's called the trust.

There are many people who are not believing in Bitcoin. But Bitcoin has proved several times that what kinds of crypto currency it is. When Bitcoin will touch $100k, many people will regret for not buying at the time of dip. We need to buy more Bitcoin as it is still near hand.

Bitcoin price more increase day by day.Bitcoin is the most valuable coin in crypto.Remember that few years ago bitcoin price was under $10k but now Bitcoin is average $45k$.I think it will be more increase in this year and it will be reached $70k this year.I think that bitcoin price increase more than $100k but it will be not by this year.

In the long term we can say that $100k/btc is the psychological target but as things stand we have $50k and $60k which will be difficult to break because price hasn't been able to stay above $50k for a long time not until market psychology of everyone trying to short the market changes then  can we say market is ready to be bullish once again.

That fact that it came from cents and has gone as far a $60k, how doubtful can we be that bitcoin is real....what sign are we really waiting for  ::)

It is very difficult to predict what the price of Bitcoin will be in the future. Every moment our prediction changes. For example, when Bitcoin dropped to $29k, we didn't think it would cross $50k again. When Bitcoin crossed $19k in 2017, we never thought it would go below $3k again.
