Title: Chia creation plots Post by: devil2man on September 14, 2021, 07:26:52 PM i am creating my first plots on chia but it has been going on for about 10 hours already, is there a way to speed it up? change any settings before starting? more core / threat or more ram? I'm already doing the temporary on ssd and plots on hard disk

Take a look at MadMax it can cut your plotting time down to around an hour or less depending on your system's specs. You can find the Github below and there is a ton of documentation there to assist in getting it set up quickly. I used it when I need to replot all my old plots to join a pool and it was amazing how fast it was complete.

Especially when pool plotting was released MadMax was released about the same time. If it was not it would have taken large farms a very long time to replot everything to get the correct plots to be able to pool. Instead, they were able to accomplish this in days.
