Title: Some Crosschain Bridges Post by: libert19 on September 17, 2021, 05:59:59 AM 1) Hop Protocol
Supported: Ethereum, Polygon, XDai, Optimism, Arbitrum Link: https://app.hop.exchange/ 2) Xpollinate Supported: BSC, Polygon, XDai, Fantom Link: https://xpollinate.io/ 3) Celer Bridge Supported: Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, XDai, Fantom, Avalanche, Optimism, OkexChain, Heco Link: https://cbridge.celer.network/ 4) AllBridge Supported: Ethereum, BSC, Avalanche, Heco, Polygon, Solana Link: https://app.allbridge.io/bridge 5) Rainbow Bridge Supported: Ethereum, Near, Aurora Link: https://ethereum.bridgetonear.org/ More from comments: There are a lot more bridges. If a blockchain wants to expand its DeFi ecosystem, a bridge is a must to attract money flow from other blockchains. There are two types: in-house bridge and 3rd party bridge. In-house bridges: Binance Bridge Supported: BSC, ETH, TRX, OMNI (suspended) Link: https://www.binance.org/en/bridge Terra Bridge Supported: Terra, ETH, BSC, Harmony (ONE) Link: https://bridge.terra.money/ Horizon Bridge Supported: Harmony (ONE), ETH, BSC (BUSD only) Link: https://bridge.harmony.one/ Avalanche Bridge (Beta) Supported: ETH, AVAX Link: https://bridge.avax.network/ Third party bridges (high risk): Multichange.xyz Supported: ETH, BSC, FTM, HECO, Polygon, xDAI, Fusion Link: https://multichain.xyz/ Anyswap Supported: ETH, BSC, FTM, Fusion Link: https://anyswap.exchange/ Debridge (developing) Supported: ETH, BSC, Polygon, HECO, Arbitrum Link: https://debridge.finance/ If you know more, do comment! Or only tokens that have been created in multiple networks Yes. All tokens can have a representation of them on other networks which you can move your token from ETH network to Polygon Network for example. The problem with this is that if your ERC20 token doesn't have a pool over the other network which it could take forever for you to wait till the reverse transaction. This is highly centralized compare to smart contract bridges. Not only tokens but also coins take for example renBTC. Or only tokens that have been created in multiple networks It has to be a cross chain token like Tether. You can also use a bridge to transfer BTC and received a pegged version on a different blockchain. So far all the token bridges have been very limited. The best way to transfer coins between blockchains is to go through Binance which for some people is not an option due to being region blocked or because of KYC requirements. It is also not trustless going through a centralized exchange. With so many cross-compatible chains I expect there to be more development in this area so that people can seamlessly transact across various networks. It's the only 100% trustless bridge in existence and it bridges Ethereum and BSC to both NEAR and Aurora.Supported: Ethereum, Polygon, XDai, Optimism, Arbitrum Link: https://app.hop.exchange/ 2) Xpollinate Supported: BSC, Polygon, XDai, Fantom Link: https://xpollinate.io/ 3) Celer Bridge Supported: Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, XDai, Fantom, Avalanche, Optimism, OkexChain, Heco Link: https://cbridge.celer.network/ 4) AllBridge Supported: Ethereum, BSC, Avalanche, Heco, Polygon, Solana Link: https://app.allbridge.io/bridge If you know more, do comment! There is no real way to guarantee that the different blockchains deal with each other directly, but most of them enable this indirectly, either by encapsulating currencies or in other ways. Unfortunately, most of these roads are central and high in fees, and therefore it is better to use central platforms. Huge development opportunities are also provided to developers. It seems that it is even possible to transfer eth a smart contract and aurora will pay for gas. They already have a connection between the Lamden chain and the BSC. Convert TAU on Lamden to BSC chain and WETH on Ethereum to WETH on Lamden. They just serve a few cryptocurrencies, expect next year to have more functionality and more tokens on various chains. Title: Re: Some Crosschain Bridges Post by: Daltonik on February 11, 2022, 06:55:30 AM The Allbridge crosschain bridge is also popular https://app.allbridge.io/bridge by the way, they announced integration with NEAR Protocol, thanks to this, it became possible to provide liquidity in NEAR from 12 different networks.
