Cryptocurrency markets are famous for their volatility, which presents a lot of opportunities.
I'm interested in trading cryptocurrency using trading bots but have no idea where to start.

I haven't tried this myself, but if you want total control, one of the best options is to simply use an open-source one and modify it to your liking. (or hire a dev)

P.S. If you think running a successful trading bot is merely just starting the bot and make money forever passively, then that's not how it works. Trading bots are there to only automate some of your trading strategies, not necessarily to make it have total control over your trades. Running a successful trading bot requires you to be a good trader(manually) to start with.

Advertising very profitable "trading bots" are a very VERY common scam tactic. It's no different from the typical scam, just branded with a different gift wrapper.

Just follow the old adage: "if it's too good to be true, it probably is", so stay away from that kind of trading bots. Probability is that they are running a scam or you will loss your money using their trading bots.

@crwth has recommended one of the best out there, Gunbot, and you will find a lot of support from this community and for sure crwth can answer any questions from you. So best of luck trading.

Honestly there isn't really one true trading bot that makes you money magically. Most of them are things that you can configure if you want to. For example, I used Gunbot for years, but I could configure it anyway I want, if I am a moron and end up losing a ton of money because I configure it the worst possible way then how can I blame Gunbot for it?

However, if I configure it amazingly and in a way that it makes me profit like crazy, then yeah a bit of it is on Gunbot because it gave me that option but it is still 90%+ my achievement to configure it that way. So, what did Gunbot do here? Basically just offer me the tool but the deed was still done by me. Hence, as long as you do not get a horrible one, you will be still in charge of the bot and need to use it properly to make any profit. Do not assume any bot to ever make you money without you knowing what you are doing.

The crypto bot company shouldn't make any promise. It will not be as easy, and the market is ever-changing so that you wouldn't get the same results every time. I'm biased to Gunbot (https://gunbot.ph), but it's the best for flexibility of strategies. It's not easy to learn, but it could save you a lot of time when you are busy.

It has always been how the user sets it up. And sometimes, the overthinking that it's automatic and they want instant returns to make it even harder for them that it's not a magic money machine but it can be if you do the right stuff and make your expectations right.

@OP, you still need to understand the fundamentals of trading at least to make a crypto bot effective.

So you are very new to crypto trading bots. There is no risk if you know how to use it. Especially if you use your API key for bot trading you are safe. There is no chance to do a scam with you. You just need to give some permission when you are creating an API KEY. Dont give permission to withdraw asset.

From this post, you can able to learn about most of the crypto trading bots. Nowadays Kucoin is also supporting some trading bot so you don't need to use an API KEY fro trading bot. Right now they are offering 1) Grid trading bot, 2)Futures trading bot, 3) Smart rebalancing bot and 4) DCA bot. All of them are free to use and very easy to use also.

Yes, I'm new. Mostly i buy some token/coin and hold it around 3-6 month. But after I read some articles I found a statement that "Short time traders get more profit than holders". That's how I started to find out about trading bots.

I finded ALUNA, ZIGNALY, HumingBot and many more, Its makes me confused which one to choose. Also I found " RoboFi " which say they are DAO crypto trading bot marketplace. Thank to all of you for provide information that is very helpful for me. I'll find out what you guys share here.

Keep in mind that it's not always telling the full story. For example, you probably need a lot of capital to make sure your day trading profits net you big, compared to if you hold a $100 worth of token and got lucky when the token rise 10x 6 months later. And you also need some skills even if you plan on using a trading bot, at least good enough so you know how to backtest and improve your algorithm. That being said, I recall some members said that Kucoin trading bot is quite good, as long as you don't mention its limitation that you can only use it on Kucoin exchange (it's one of their features).

Indeed, there is nothing wrong with using a Trading Bot as long as the bot produces and is not a scam bot.
Trading bots are used to make it easier for you to trade so you don't keep looking at the chart.

Simplifying means not completely trusting trading bots, you also have to do it manually to improve your trading skills. Don't just hope on Bots that will end up giving you losses and some of them are just scam Bots.

I understand your enthusiasm but as it has been mentioned bots are not money making pieces of code, what they do is to automate and perform exactly what you tell them, the greatest advantage of a bot is that it can trade based on a set of rules and they will never deviate from them while at the same time a bot can trade 24/7 without rest, since you are mostly an investor and not a trader it is unlikely you will be able to distinguish a good bot from a bad one or have the ability to create one, so I suggest you learn how to manually trade and then once you have become successful then you can think about buying a bot, ordering a custom one or write your own.

There's a ton of trading bots right now and I know it's hard for you to choose which one to use, I think it's hard to determine where's a secure and legit trading bot if all of them are new.  I would rather stick to the old one that is surely supported in the community and I tend to agree with crwth above, Gunbot was supported by most users here in the forum and it has wide use when it comes to exchanger platform availability, so I didn't have doubt about this trading bot.

A trading bot isn't making money, that's a tool that you can be used in trading on behalf of you while you away from the keyboard and execute buy and sell under your command and you can set trading parameters on your own.  But did you know that most trading experts are now manually trading than using these automated trading bots?

Hiring someone would probably be the best and secure way for you to actually get one. It'd come with most features that you want exactly as it is, and you'd manage to have someone to actually manage the code whenever you need something new or some changes to be done. It's also 100% legit since you were the one who's going to supervise the creation.

It's quite natural ngl. Short-time traders make more profit since they act upon every move of the market, unlike holders who just wait. Naturally, short time traders hold more risk compared to hodlers since the market is rather volatile, short-term changes can be small or big depending on the market.

The idea of using trading bots is just being lazy. Being lazy and inpatient to actually put in the time to learn the trading skill and trade yourself. The truth is that most of these trading bots are scam and will only lose you money. So take time to learning trading yourself.

You will have to rely on the opinion of others or you can test them all to know for yourself which would work for you. I don’t make use of these bots, but I can tell you for sure that if you’re not actively managing your trading bots and reprogramming it, then you are going to have a problem with it, because you are going to be experiencing loss as the market constantly changes. So at least you get to know that having a bot doesn’t mean taking your hands completely off from your computer, there are still some roles you will have to play on your part to ensure that things are moving as it should.

Trust me, buy and hold is a good way to make money in the crypto industry. But before buying any coin you need to do a lot of research. When you are buying for the long run, You need to choose a legit project that has a strong development team, Good fundamentals, and have real-life use. Don't buy any shit coin/meme coins. Also, you need to understand some technical analysis for this, Like support and resistance, supply and demand zone ETC. also don't forget ''never put all of your eggs in one basket''

This is only true if you know how to write code in that particular language that the programmer is using to create your own bot, after all if you do not really know anything about the code that is being written then is going to be very easy for the one that you are hiring to do this work for you to include some malicious code in the program so they can steal your coins, this is why if you are really interested in finding a way to automate your trades and earn profits that way then you have no other option but to create you own bot.
