I believe that earning passive income is the main path to financial freedom. Various altcoins and their projects have established various strategies for their investors to earn passive income, but not all are as effective or easy.

What crypto projects have the best features for obtaining passive income?

As for me, one of the best choice for making money is to do staking or yield farming, as everything you need to do is to select a right project and lock up you coins there and, depending on risks, you will get higher or lower  interests, but they will be much higher than in banks in any case. The best platforms are uniswap on Ethereum and Pancake swap on BSC.

I strongly recommend you a project on the bsc chain, which is a hex-like project. My monthly passive income from this project exceeds 10 times my salary.

Holding any coins can help you to make returns but we can't consider it as passive income since the definition of passive income is all about something that generates you income every month or year without any effort from you.

Passive income requires patience. Investing in a project and then generating returns through staking or yield farming is not called passive income.

I am doing some farming and staking on spiritswap. Its a fantom blockchain project that has a very good features to have a passive income. Yes, they may have some risk of permanent loss but, as time pass by, we can surpass this IL and convert those into a solid profit especially if the price of the token you are harversting has a good marketcap. Its not about trading but earning passively regardless of the value it could give. Anyway just a suggestion there are plenty of projects do the same. Just pick a good one.

It's always hard to pick only one or two projects and say that those are without a doubt the best coins to generate a passive income with them through staking, because in the end everyone decides for himself what is the best. If you are looking for a stable and relatively safe source of passive income, then i would choose bigger staking projects like for example cosmos or polkadot. It's true. I have been holding coins and yet I didn't earn income. I would say that I earn profit from it as I have to put an effort. If you want to earn passive income then you should find a company that let you earn passive income when you submitted your work and you just wait for your income if ever your work is sold many times. Yeah, I do agree, but coins that is solid, mostly in the top 10 and then hold for at least a year, that will be passive income for me.

Just look at bitcoin for example, $3k at March 2020, then new all time high April 2021 at $64k. So if you have invested on bitcoin that time, you could have cash out some in April and make large profits already and still up to this day, the $3k price is making you good passive money at $43k. Same with ETH, ADA and BSC, if you fill your bags before the price exploded, surely, you are getting passive income.

Its more of an investment appreciation not the actual passive income, precisely lending or staking the cryptos can be considered as one of the passive income earning methods but it is highly risky to lock our cryptos into custodian wallet for certain time period.

I have tried a lot of things and most of the one's promising passive income would hurt your prediction one way or other.
Some popular defi coin like cake has been able to hold it's price for quite a time now. But most of the defi coins I have invested on for passive income have yield more loss to me. Pancakebunny and it's other tokens, biswap are some platform where I lost the most. Other non defi coins like NEXO, Celsius or Exchange dividend coins like KCS, could be safer option if you get to buy them for cheap. Sometimes, putting your coins for a small interest in secure platform like Binance could be a better option considering the long term holding value.

Sorry but don't just think that investing in crypto is considered to become a passive income that is because of its volatility and risks. Though we know that we can make a good profit in here, however, you can't get assurance from this. You can actually make this as a source of income, we surely know that but that is just like that. That made my eyes rolling but your right about staking. There is not much for passive income in crypto but mostly related to staking which also has risks. Just like mining cryptocurrency either bitcoin or altcoins, you will still have risk to the devices you are using.

Mining is a good way for passive income, you just have to devote some funds you earn for the maintenance of the devices, and for replacements, the devices are expensive like the GPUs.

Yield farming on Celo, Fantom, and NEAR protocol have the highest APY and passive income. On each of these chains there are several farms that have over 100% APY. You can't get those returns from staking alone.

The best way to make up a source of passive income is staking or yield farming I think, but actually I can't recommend any of such platforms now, as I don't know any with really big APYs. I know one project called Goldfinch, you can have passive income in it if you invest in it. Here is how it works: there are different companies that borrow money and you can be their investor.

We must know how risky crypto can be, at some project there will be a time that it can give us passive income but after a while depending on the progress of the project and adoption it may continue or worst is the project or team will be gone. DEFI, farming, staking, NFT, are just pretty much a ponzi or a money game. You can only earn passive income via bank interest or securities, via someone else's work.

I have been a big fan of ALGO latley. They allow staking in man wallets and with the implementation of the governance program that opened up on 1 October, you can currently earn almost 30% on your ALGO. I believe in the future of ALGO as well so I feel much better holding ALGO than some of these random DeFi pairings.

Masternodes, staking (proof of stake AND the DeFi world), mining, long term investing. All of these are good passive income makers, they are not fully passive since they require you to do small tiny stuff but not really work, just configuration and adjustments which is not really more than 10 minutes if all goes well.

Masternodes like DASH can bring you insane returns per year, it is very valuable however it requires a high capital, you could go with something like stakenet to get in cheaper and make good amount of profit, or PIVX as well. Mining has always been profitable in the long run, as long as you have very cheap electricity, sure you work hard at first, but unless something breaks down then you do not work until it does. Staking is great and requires only a VPS and starting out may take an hour or two but then you are making a profit forever. Long term investment is different than these, you do not really make an income, but in the long term most big coins go up so you gain more fiat that way.

Recently it would be a bad idea to stake your assets on cex exchanges. Since recently many regulators are starting to control the exchanges and forcing the exchanges to adhere to their rules. In my opinion curve.fi is a good and reliable protocol for conditionally passive income.

farming or staking are best options for passive income I think. I personally started Axis coin staking and I expect good income and price rise too in upcoming months and great 2022 year for this way of passive income. All in all passive income is amazing in pancakeswap and uniswap type of place, I rather do not use anything aside from these two, sure there are apeswaps and sushiswaps and all that but it doesn't really look like something that would be smart to risk when there is already a great one that I can use without a problem.

People mentioned in this thread about staking as a way to earn passive income but most staking coins I know is inflate as the time pass. Worst you could lose all your money. I think there is a way that requires little effort to earn passive income is investing. Yes. if you invest and hold a top coin for long, around one year or more, the profit its return are much more than staking.

I had fun with many staking coins, but as you say in the end it's better to simply invest in some top coins and hold them, if possible to lock them for interest... Maybe my experience is like that cause I never invested too much in any coin, maybe I should invest more than I did... I am not sure, but that didn't work well for me! I have a lot better experience with casino tokens and getting passive income from that! By the way, I didn't find any interesting project worth investing in in this thread!

There's no such thing about passive income but it can do pertain about staking and something that yields out interest but to say that this wont really make out any assurance.If you do try to compare of things with

Leverage income or passive is s something that you cant really deal off here on crypto space.

There could be security for the investment, not security for the profit but damn near at least. You could always go to uniswap and do usdc/usdt, that has around 140 million dollars in it, ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY MILLION DOLLARS. That is a huge amount, add usdc/dai and usdt/dai and you get yourself to 250!! million dollars. That's quarter billion dollars on just 3 stablecoins and they are stable, not like people are expecting profit from the initial capital, we are not talking about eth, uni, btc or whatever, simply just stable.

That means whatever you put in as dollars, will stay exactly the same, and you will gain some profit with the uni you are getting from providing liquidity, which won't be huge but it will be decent. All in all the capital you are putting in is safe, and the income is passive, as long as uni token doesn't lose value you have nothing to do.

There are many crypto features that can give you a passive income, but the most features with big risks are the ones that will give you passive income! You can stake your coins in some exchanges and earn up to 10% profit per year, but you can learn to trade and take the risk but you can earn up to 10% per week!

To get passive income, I am currently staking on several platforms that provide this program because by staking I can get a profit every month by only holding coins and the additional value when the price of the coins we hold increases very high then we can only sell coins then I can get more profit.

I believe this is a plan that you can make for yourself, there are lots of opportunities in the cryptocurrency markets, lots of ways for you to earn . Passive income is pure depends on the staking and yield farming that you are doing. If you are doing it on a horrible place, it is sort of like ponzi, well the system ponzi works doesn't work with these ones, it is just something that gives you tokens, doesn't tell you how much that token will worth, you decide that between each other so it is not exactly ponzi even when it fails.

However there are ones that make profit, like uniswap usdc-usdt or whatever, or pancake busd-bnb or whatever, those always make a good profit. Also on top of that you get to keep your money, you do not lose your initial deposit and that is the important part, if you have busd-bnb even on the most horrible place, then you do not lose your money and that is what matters to us, not losing because that prevents it from being ponzi. The only other options left are the token becoming nearly zero in price, or the price staying high and making you profit.

I'm into Axie Infinity but I see that staking AXS is very profitable. From 400% APY during it launch, it's down to 158% but it's still good right? Having that percentage of APY is literally high.

Mostly peoples don't like to do some search and have all information about projects and products just because of this they are feeling staking is much better idea instead of investing and have some better profit or passive income from this which is really great idea.

If peoples start with some strategy and have knowledge about their required projects and products then surely they will be able to have some better ideas and way for their income because right now we have few projects those are doing much better than expectations and giving good income but due to not updates these are in front of investors. Just hold bitcoin for long term and you will be earning profits passively. You literally have to do nothing. Just make sure you keep your wallets safe and secure. Keep holding until you reach your desire profit goal. Once you reach your goal, take your profit and reinvest or keep adding slowly. If you are holding altcoins that can be staked, you can stake them and earn passively. Make sure its a coin that you can actually stake using your own wallet. Some exchanges mislead people by using the word "Stake". Not all coins can be staked. Even if they can be, don't stake using an exchange. Its risky and you end up giving too much power to those exchange.

You can try it with BNB. For me pancakeswap is the best platform to earn passive income. I already staking in some coins there but of course you should do your own research before to stake because there are a lot of coins and I'm sure there are also scam coins.. so careful to choose one so that it would be worthy for you to stake.
