So you created a garbage thread in which you wrote a very bland, repetitive anecdote about some friend who used leverage and you got a PM from a random member afterward....what do you want the community to do about it?  If you're so offended by the PM, just report it to the mods as spam and they'll take care of it.

Alternatively, you can block that member from ever sending you another PM.  Easy solutions that don't require a thread in Meta.

Alarm whom ?
He meant you should handle such situation by using the report option.
You cannot achieve anything by posting a thread about this.

So of course I get a PM by Rockstarguy basically asking the following:

What are you insinuating?? I did wrong by alarming
No, you didn't do anything against the rules or morally wrong, but there's no need to create a separate thread for this issue when it all boils down to someone sending you a PM in which he looks to be bragging about how much he made using a "trading professional" after you created a thread in Trading Discussion about taking out loans.

I made a comment about how that thread in T.D. was crap, because it was.  I'd invite anyone who hasn't seen it yet to click on the link you provided and see for themself.  But the main point I tried to convey was that you should have reported the PM or just put that guy's PMs on ignore rather than make a thread about a nonissue.  I think you're trying to earn merits, honestly.

The PM to me was also not necessary.

I made this thread because I think his pm he sent is not genuine and to let others whom he might have pm too not to fall victim. anyways thanks for correction

Such PMs are sent on a daily basis to many members. It's called spam. Just report it to the moderator and get on with your life. There is no need to waste time on such trivial issues.

Op, from the link you provided, I visited your thread about trading were you advised that one should rather use his/her fund to trade rather than borrow. Then, the user that Pmed you believed you are into trading and maybe wants to help. He advertised his business. Though it can be called an unsolicited pm, which you can report to mod as suggested by @The Pharmacist rather creating a topic.
You alleged that you created the topic to alert the people about been scamed. But you did not provide enough evidence to show that the user is a scammer. He might be a genuine fellow. I will not believe he is a scammer unless you provide substantial evidence and then make the post in reputation board with the screenshot of the evidence, asking the community to decide.

The user you are talking about is Ukuhudu (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=541737) has 2015 registered account and he is already got  negative trust (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=541737) from LoyceV for the same pm related scam and you are not the only one he is targeting.

I also got the same kind of PM from him and just saw the message and then this thread and here is what he is offering me :

as others already told you, just report that member, and put him on your block list.
there are certainly over 100,000 similar members here, do you expect that we all create a new topic for each of them?

Actually the  user that have been sending different user's message have an interior motive to do so, it's obvious that the user is a scammer, but i have not seen anything wrong for bringing a user which the primary function is to send a multiplication of pm to different people to the public because if the user continuing with such format one day a forum mate will be a victim, now I'm using myself as a reference. I don't really know the user but with help of this thread today i think if i come across of this user i will definitely recall or recognize the username.

Ooh, shit! Some newbie account just pmed me to join his airdrop campaign. He thinks I am interested because I post in this forum. I am going to create a new thread in reputations or meta boards and moan about what he just did.

Thanks for opening my eyes @Rockstarguy
