Hello Galla. Good to know that we have research on this. May I know what is the stream against which you are doing this. What was the branch of your graduation subsequent to which you have pursued this?

If you want to understand the way crypto is being used, you may take a look at the "Marketplace" section of the forum and observe the kind of transactions happening there which include hardware sales, coins and other collectibles. Specific to India, the forum is not really representative of the way it is being used in India. Most Indian devs are working for Alt-coins and L2 projects.

I'd also suggest you to check the website Gitcoin to get more idea of the things that people are working on.
