Title: Any hope for BitcoinCash?

Do you think there is any hope for BitcoinCash?  Is it still one of the major alts that will pump?  Will it reach previous all time highs?

If you are looking for the valuation, it depends upon how BTCitcoin market will respond as all the forks will move along with the way BTCitcoin market will perform. When it comes to the development side of things i am not following any of the forks and there is nothing much interesting going on as well. One thing is that i will trust the BTCitcoin forks more than the other alts in the market.

That depends on what you actually mean by the word hope, bitcoin cash is still the most popular of the bitcoin forks and as such there is the possibility the coin sees some action coming from its supporters and goes up in price, however anything other than that is never going to happen, many of its supporters think of it as the real bitcoin and think that one day it could replace it, and something like that is never going to happen no matter how much those people support this fork.

Just like what eality just said it will depend on Bitcoin's performance. If you knew how smart money moves then you'd be better to know how the cycle goes, it's Bitcoin > large market cap > medium market cap > small market cap. If somehow Bitcoin neutralize then expect the large market cap coins/tokens to move after and so on.

Asking about reaching all time highs is never been an easy thing since it cant be known by everybody. No one could predict the future would be thats why it is really hard to answer up these kind of questions.

When it comes to BitcoinCash then its no different from other alts that hasnt really made out any major movements out of this year or simply on that idle state but doesnt mean that they wouldnt really have

any chance on pumping on and of course it would really be needing off some catalyst for it to happen or wouldnt really be needing at all.

I do, There's still a hope for bitcoin cash but we can't speculate a huge gain will be happening with bitcoin cash. This fork coin totally overvalued at this moment.

Is it still one of the major alts that will pump?
Yes it is but the pump can happen anytime. The marketcap of bitcoin cash was still around 10 billion but im thinking if the pump will not be so big. No reason to create a big pump for this coin as fork coin doesn't have utility.

Will it reach previous all time highs?
It will not and never. BCH will stay at the current level forever or it will be going down to the two digits for sure.

Possible, but no one knows when it will happen.  Bitcoin cash acts the same as Bitcoin and moves the price followed by Bitcoin.  Since it is forked by Bitcoin,  they are the same decentralized and uses or validated by blockchain.  So there is a potential that can offer those who believe in a forked coin, like Bitcoin, it's the same nature of having a volatile price.  It's hard to predict which way the price is heading.

Look at the price of BCH (https://www.coindesk.com/price/bitcoin-cash/), when Bitcoin pumped, BCH also pumped the price.
It seems there's a possibility that the price will have resistance next week all together with Bitcoin.

All coins in the market is really hoping for some nice pump specially into those supporters or investors and this is something always a question to market on when it would happen.
Talking about hopes or something then it will always vary on the market trend and of course with the demand.

We cant really just tell up things without any basis whether a coin would pump or not which isnt not only talking about BCH but in most coins in the market as well.

It all matters with the demand and this is the primary reason on why a coin would have some significant rise.

The hope will always there but i must also remind you that this is fork coin. Nothing to be offered to create FOMO. ATH is just a dream and it will never come true eventhough this was a major coin but i were feeling doubt about this.

The value of Bitcoin Cash can increase, especially if Bitcoin price can increase. But in the future, I am not sure that Bitcoin Cash can still have a good position in the market. If you are willing to invest in Bitcoin Cash, you should be careful. If Bitcoin Cash only increases because of the pump, you should use that for your benefit and leave the coin after the pump is over and search for the other coins. If the demand for Bitcoin Cash can increase, the price will follow increase. Otherwise, it will only get down and the investor will leave the coin.

I think it is impossible to give an exact guide to Bitcoin Cash because there are so many unpredictable factors involved. Despite a lot of criticism, Bitcoin Cash is still growing, and its developers have pretty ambitious plans. Currently, this coin is the most popular and widely accepted among all forks of Bitcoin.
So dyor, if you believe in the future of cryptocurrencies, then investing in Bitcoin Cash might be the right thing to do.

Ask yourself what did BitcoinCash's philosophy stand for? They promise people low fees and fast confirmations, but is that what attracts people, meaning if confirmation fees go up in Bitcoin, will people turn to Bitcoin Cash as an alternative? Definitely not, the market has many good options and with the addition of wrapped tokens, we may not need that currency.

It still has some life but this coin will die soon.

So in short it is better to invest in some other altcoins than BCH

Even shitcoin has a chance to be pumped. BTW this was a coin with billions marketcap. that doesn't make sense if there will be no pump come for this coin. BCH is known as a clone from bitcoin and it's also popular among the crypto users. The pump will be happening if there was a big news about that. The pump was not predictable. This is the problem  that faced by the fork coin. Sometime a coin can get a pump caused by there's something that was triggering the market to FOMO otherwise if a coin will be so difficult to be pumped if there was no a reason to trigger people to FOMO.

Bitcoin cash was a major coin with multi billions marketcap right now. The pump may happen soon even if that was not big like altcoin pump. BCH has not even surpassed 1k and it's too far to talk if this can reach its ATH again or not.

There is good hope for Bitcoin cash for move well but everything is left to bitcoin and the time. When the market moves well, there is good hope for other altcoins including Bitcoin cash but if the market in bearish, then things will not be favourable. Do not forget that the price can still be pumped. Bitcoin cash is doing well and it's going to do better if the market trend well.

After Bitcoin falling from the Top 5 market cap and followed falling with Top 10 market. It makes Bitcoin cash become more useless and no more chance.
For me, holding Bitcoin for the long term is not a good idea, to be honest, recently we have seen high volatility and probably a pump and dump scene when some updates happening and probably Roger Ver is the one who manages these pumps and dumps.

Hope will always be there for Bitcoincash as long as the market can improve greatly and major coins like Bitcoin can also continue to improve, so there's no reason to lose hope in BitcoinCash even though it has experienced a very deep decline.
Not really that much interested with Bitcoin-like or other wannabe's in the market and trying to be more than with Bitcoin.Im not bitter with  bitcoincash but just like any others in the market
you couldnt tell on what would happen next.

For other people or investor then it would really be just that the same on others been hoping for on their coins that they've been holding. Some people do hold up some Bitcoincash
and hope for it to be pumped.

Just like on what im holding which is ADA.. Demand would be always the thing.

Being the most popular bitcoin fork doesn't forcedly mean that it's a successful project. I expect all who comment here knew how this coin was lunched pretending to offer fast transactions and cheap fees, but this was because bitcoin had few issues about block size. I remember how many great companies supported the new coin (blockchain.co m/BitPay/...) while not supporting segwit soft fork; and this was the proof that some parts want to steal the position of bitcoin.

Stay away from this shit coin, it will die sooner or later.

Those who didn't sell this fork during its ATH and still holds it until today. It's unlikely in my opinion to see this pump again.

If you just took this fork free a few years ago then it won't hurt you to sell it. But the psychological effect that you should have sold it earlier when it's up, makes you regret selling it.

There is hope for Bitcoin Cash than there would be for any other Bitcoin-based fork. It's been doing well as an independent cryptocurrency project since its inception. A strong community is what has driven Bitcoin Cash to widespread success. You cannot say the same to other forks like Bitcoin SV or Bitcoin Diamond. These other variants are heavily centralized with smaller communities backing them.

While Bitcoin Cash is not as decentralized as Bitcoin is, it's still a better option than the aforementioned variants. There are many businesses, merchants, and individuals supporting BCH so it's likely it'll reach a new ATH a couple of years from now. Everything will depend whenever Bitcoin will be bullish or all of the contrary. If Bitcoin is bullish, you can bet Bitcoin Cash will soar all the way to the moon. Things will go sideways if Bitcoin goes bearish. What matters is usability instead of the price per coin. As long as BCH is useful, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts ;D

It is hard to predict if any hope for BitcoinCash to increase or not have a chance because anything can happen to that coin in the future. If you have BitcoinCash, maybe you can hold for a while and see what will happen to that coin and if that coin can increase from the previous price, you will make a big profit. But if the coin does not increase, you need to wait for more and hope that the coin will increase someday.

The problem lies the fact that they are trying to promote this as the original bitcoin but it is not.
And people now are realizing that it is just another copy-cat of the original.
And so people are trusting more the real bitcoin rather than this forked one.
The truth is, what is the reason why it should exist if we have bitcoin already?

Bitcoin cash is one of the popular forks of bitcoin and established as well. The price is depending on btc itself because bch is following the movement of bitcoin.

Since we dont know what lies ahead, we cant say if bch can reach the previous ath. But there's more to look forward, if btc became bullish again then we can expect bch (and probably some major alts as well) to reach their previous ath or possibly surpass it.

When this coin split away from bitcoin (BTC) to become an altcoin as a result of a hard fork it's performance was quite remarkable and still is but in the long run these coins won't be self sufficient to support themselves especially if more new projects with an agenda to help solve some of the world's problems come in to challenge these speculative coins they certainly will fall out of favor . But if the devs keep on improving these coins and advertising them to increase their user base that will keep them relevant...for now they are still on the crypto map.

Although bitcoin cast is not as famous as BTC, etherem and binance but I believe bitcoin cast has a great opportunity to grow even higher in the future, because BCH has high potential and prospects, because BCH enthusiasts are increasing from time to time, I think BCH's growth is only limited  by time, and BCH is like a ticking time bomb ready to explode at any moment,
BCH is a token that was born from the Bitcoin Fork whose demand is very large so it will not experience a downturn if Bitcoin continues to grow well, because BCH will also grow slowly, but what must be realized is that BCH is often slow in terms of increasing prices.

from its highest price BCH experienced a deep decline even though it has started to rise slowly, I think if we look at the current market price it will certainly be very difficult to reach its highest price again although there is hope of course because nothing is impossible in the crypto market.

Bitcoin cash wanted to replace bitcoin and they claimed it was the original one and now we can see that it is nothing but a big joke.

The industry needs innovation, not clones with a few simple tweaks. Despite the fact that Bitcoin Cash is just Bitcoin with a increased block size, it's still the leading Bitcoin-based fork on the market. Variants like Bitcoin SV and eCash (formerly known as Bitcoin Cash ABC) are even worse than Bitcoin Cash. There might be hope for BCH, but the same cannot be said about other forks. What matters is decentralization and censorship-resistance. If Bitcoin Cash is able to meet with this, it'll last for a very long time. Just my thoughts ;D

Yeah they spammed the tweets about bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin almost everyday that day.
At those times altcoins is still few even ETH is just starting and not many people demand it, everthing is about bitcoin is hype that day, BCH, BCD, BCG, etc.
Because the people are just known bitcoin those days, but right now there are a lot altcoins that have their own community, their own network which is bigger than bitcoin cash. So i think bitcoin cash development is left behind compared to other altcoins competitors

It probably still pumped like another coin just like how old coin pumped, but i dont know how long bitcoincash would stay on the market since its purposes isnt needed anymore, BTC with its Lightning Network already a good combination.

from this ATH 4 years ago

I think this is a very far fall from this Bitcoin copy cat (bitcoin cash), and i believe that this won't come any near these days of us.

I may be wrong but I really don't see anything good in a coin that claiming to be original Bitcoin but cannot prove anything .

They lost a lot of good will coming from the community, personally I am not against forks because bitcoin is an open source project and it makes sense that some other developers will try to build something on top of it or take another direction, however many of those forks were just weak attempts to make money out of the bitcoin name and the developers behind them never had the intention of taking their coins in a new direction, and in the case of bitcoin cash they angered a lot of the people in the community when they claimed their coin was the real bitcoin when we know this is not the case, this is why this coin even if it still exists does not get attention from the community as we have not forgotten what happened back then.

BitcoinCash is much less likely, for the price has started to drop. Effectively creating new minted BitcoinCash has implemented a growing block size speeding up the verification process to an inconvenient regular level to ensure chain continuity and transaction verification speed. It has expressed concern over the security of BitcoinCash.

If you look in that aspect then you do not need hundreds and thousands of other coins in the cryptocurrency market but still they are all riding high whenever the bull run starts. I am not certain about the development of BitcoinCash as i am not following their development for years but it will rally as long as the Bitcoin market rallies. Whatever be the purpose they will survive like the other alts in the market.

bitcoin cash is currently ranked 18th CMC with a 12 billion dollars market cap

I see the attraction of bitcoin cash is that it has lost far with other altcoins such as cardano or binance coin, this is what makes me pessimistic that bitcoin cash can go to ath again

maybe until the end of this year (when btc bullish) bitcoin cash will only touch $ 1k - $ 1.5k (highest price)

bitcoin cash is currently ranked 18th CMC with a 12 billion dollars market cap
actually it is 11 billion dollar plus

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/

but having this capitalization is not that low to expect it is.

Quote
I see the attraction of bitcoin cash is that it has lost far with other altcoins such as cardano or binance coin, this is what makes me pessimistic that bitcoin cash can go to ath again
not only the competence but also the case of BCH to be a bitcoin clone in which not can claim to be a legit bitcoin forever.
Quote
maybe until the end of this year (when btc bullish) bitcoin cash will only touch $ 1k - $ 1.5k (highest price)

Well that is too low from the former ATH in which 4,500$ , but yeah that is the highest it can be.

That's certainly true, mate. Bitcoin Cash claiming to be the real Bitcoin caused a dilemma within the community. You can't beat what's already been established. Instead of focusing on beating the original project, Bitcoin Cash should've focused on being a better altcoin anyone can use worldwide. Development for BCH is still ongoing, but interest declined considerably after the "hash wars" of 2018. Bitcoin SV certainly damaged Bitcoin Cash's reputation in the mainstream world. And don't let me get started on Bitcoin Cash ABC (now known as eCash). If the BCH team doesn't do anything to bring people's confidence into it, then I'm afraid it'll slowly fade into oblivion until it becomes history. I wouldn't worry about this, since we already have Bitcoin. Just my thoughts ;D

They were never really interested in being "the real bitcoin" to be honest. It was created by miners who makes millions of dollars per day from mining and the way bitcoin is moving right now means miners will make a lot less profit, especially with the halving now they are actually making a lot less, thanks to price being so much higher they are making more in fiat, but they are making much less in bitcoin terms.

This is why they created BCH, hoping that many people would move to it and they would keep on making profit just like they used to, or at least they could make the difference from there to continue making a good return, which failed.

well it's too hard to tell if there's still a potential for bitcoin cash to reach the all time high value again. Because you know it's been 4 months actually since the growth rate fall at the current support wherein still no good improvement, just imagine $1634.8 is the ATH and now its playing around $590.. And the new resistance is $800 something like that since may until now and bitcoin cash struggle to break out on that value.. So for me in my personal opinion its very unpredictable..

I don't think there are.

The whole premise of bitcoin cash is to get people to defect from bitcoin and adopt that as an alternative to bitcoin.

That has failed miserably and the community clearly recognises BTC as bitcoin instead of BCH. No long term value here.

In terms of previous all time highs, no. Do you really think that an irrelevant coin like BCH will be able to go back to 0.2 BTC which is now >$10k and give it a valuation that will be close to ADA and even ETH?

The BCH gang has lost a lot of steam in the recent bull run in general. Not a good bet because its whole identity is based off of being a bitcoin alternative, and bitcoin is working just fine right now.

Yeah, i know that right, but for sure the one that keeps rising is the one that have unique value in the market, the one that not usefull anymore in the market slowly would be forgotten.
What is not useful in the market is not only forgotten but will also be removed by any exchange in their list so that no one can be found again by anyone and only useful ones will stay in the market.

As they say, "money talks". As long as there's money to be made, nothing else matters. At least, that's how miners and developers think nowadays. Bitcoin Cash was mainly created as a means for profit, not a serious cryptocurrency project for day-to-day use. The experiment worked, as people who owned Bitcoin got "free money" after Bitcoin Cash was created. By that time, crypto wasn't as mainstream as it is right now.

Nowadays, there's fierce competition from many blockchain networks with smart contract functionalities. It's all about "De-Fi" and NFTs, leaving single-purpose blockchain networks in the dust (with the exception of Bitcoin). Bitcoin Cash is just clone of Bitcoin with a few simple tweaks. Increasing the block size to a higher value is not enough to bring the masses into the project. There needs to be innovation or people will lose interest into BCH until it slowly fades into oblivion. From all of the Bitcoin-based forks on the market, I think Bitcoin Cash will survive. But it won't reach that far in price if it doesn't provide innovation to the crypto/Blockchain space. I wouldn't worry about this as long as we have the original Bitcoin (BTC). Just my opinion :)

BCH was basically what miners wanted and they got it and now we can see that it wasn't something that would work, it was always obvious that they would end up making a loss on that investment if they kept it in something else. I mean even reaching ATH is something that most other things can't reach, but only in fiat. BCH wasn't created so that it would be a good coin, nobody really assumed it to be a good thing, it was obvious that it would be a bad coin, it was something that was done because of hatred and revenge emotion.

In the end, Roger Ver and Jihanwu wanted to get a revenge out of all the people who didn't pay them a lot and they did it by creating BCH and then end up taking their money, or maybe they lost a ton of money from it as well, so everyone lost money from it, maybe it is something that basically ended up losing money to every single person who is involved.

I have long considered that price changes in the market are influenced by several factors. The main factor is the usefulness and interest of the actors in the token or coin. Bitcoincash has many competitors. Then he should have innovation in the future (programs that can be offered).

They were interested in becoming the real bitcoin, they were so interested they claimed their project was in fact the real bitcoin, what they were not interested in was to actually do the hard work needed to reach that goal, personally I love bitcoin but we also know that there could be a breakthrough and another genius like satoshi could appear and could create something better than bitcoin, it is unlikely but the possibility is always there, however the devs of bitcoin cash alienated the community with their claims and they tried to rely more on marketing that in development to prove their point

Bitcoin and figure that one day it could supplant it, and something to that effect is never going to happen regardless of how much those individuals support this fork. Bitcoin cash acts equivalent to Bitcoin and moves the cost followed by Bitcoin. Since it is forked by Bitcoin they are the equivalent decentralized and utilizes or approved by blockchain.

If you are still holding bitcoincash right now then you are not going to be making any type of profit at all, it is not something that you could make very easily and it is something that you should be basically just selling as soon as you realize what you are holding and if you are not going to be doing that then you are not going to be making any profit from it neither, you are just going to be losing money.

I understand that not everyone can do that, some people are addicted to some stuff and they can't get out of it because that is how they are dealing with things, I have seen people who hold things that was 1 satoshi and still kept holding it because it is that type of person but you should get out as soon as you can if you ask me.

It might be included on the list of pumped coins but never do we expect that it gains a higher price than before. It was just like BCH having its way to give up with the competition and the real Bitcoin will succeed. If you were still holding them, I suggest looking for another coin that is much more profitable and promising.

May the project looks good for now but I'm worried if you lose more in the future if you keep holding them, selling was a good idea.

For new coins on the market, no innovation would be tantamount to a sign of dropping out of competition and once becoming redundant with comparable projects in the market, heir residences are just lowly places like scrap yards but this is not really true for BitcoinCash or large projects, their development level is almost complete in both technical and reputation. Their update steps are relatively more difficult than usual but based on the platform available, they will almost certainly outperform year after year as they represent complete and exceptionally powerful technologies

Bitcoin Cash is a coin that has the same concept as Bitcoin. After being developed there have been no changes to date. I think Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin in low price. In this year's bull run, people might suspect that Bitcoin Cash will not be pumped, even people think that Bitcoin Cash has escaped the eyes of investors. But after the Bitcoin pump stopped, as well as several other alts, it was Bitcoin Cash turn to be pumped.

In fact, I see that there is not much change for bitcoincash after the previous hardfords. While other platforms focus on scaling, their problems don't get much attention. At the same time, their development path is slowed down, indicating that the dominant level of development ability may be in conflict.

Even so, BCH is a big coin already in a trusted grayscale trust. Therefore, I think pumps on BCH are still possible. But I'm not sure it will be the new ATH.

Despite of the hate, bitcoincash is still a huge altcoin staying on the top positions but since there’s no major update yet from them, its price is still playing on a sideways without showing strong up trend. I still believe Bitcoincash can still make its nee ATH, and by that time Bitcoin hits the price of $100k already, so technically this will take more time.

Exactly. There are many competitors in the market striving to become the next big thing in crypto. Without innovation, I'm afraid Bitcoin Cash's price will stale. What makes you think people will choose a "Bitcoin clone" on top of other innovative blockchain networks?

Nowadays, it's all about "De-Fi" and NFTs so BCH will have a hard time reaching a new ATH. I don't know if there's hope for BCH considering that there are better projects with greater ambitions. Just because Bitcoin Cash carries the "Bitcoin" brand/name, doesn't mean it's going to be successful. The cryptocurrency only has a few simple tweaks for on-chain scalability. Other Bitcoin-based forks are faring worse (Bitcoin SV, Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin Gold, ...) so there's a possibility Bitcoin Cash will survive for quite some time. Just my thoughts ;D

To me bitcoin cash seems like a big paper tiger, it may seem impressive for the untrained eye but once you begin to see there is nothing there you quickly realize the coin has no other fate but to eventually disappear, the only question that we have is that we do not know how long is it going to take for that to happen, but whenever that happens I will most likely not realize it as bitcoin cash is one of the coins that I try to ignore on purpose as it has been damaging the image of bitcoin among investors for a long time.

every altcoin must have hope including BitcoinCash, especially BitcoinCash is included in the top 20 on coinmarketcap, so the volume of BitcoinCash must be very high and many people believe to investing in BitcoinCash, so the price of BitcoinCash has the opportunity to increase very high, therefore you don't need to worry about investing in BitcoinCash, because I believe when the next bullrun occurs, then of course the price of BitcoinCash will definitely increase very high and can give you a big profit.

Hope on what terms? Just the market price? If for market price only, yes there's hope since any coin can be hyped even meme coins, shitcoins, and dead ones. The only question is when it will happen and how far you can take your patience waiting for BCH to pump. While waiting, why not consider other coins? There are lots of good ones in the market when carefully chosen that are more worth compare putting money on BCH.

BCH is on its own, as a separate cryptocurrency project from Bitcoin. It's nothing more than a shitcoin just like the rest of the other ones being traded on the market right now. Bitcoin Cash was only created by "big blockers" with the purpose of enriching themselves as quickly as possible. By pretending to be the "real Bitcoin", the project would obtain most of the attention in the mainstream world. After the bear market (and hash wars) of 2018, the hype simply faded away into oblivion. People are now focused on cryptocurrencies with smart contract features, leaving single-purpose blockchain networks like Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin behind in the dust (with the exception of Bitcoin). Unless the BCH team provides something innovative to the industry, the coin will have a hard time reaching new ATHs in price. At least, the project is open source and apparently decentralized. There's a chance it could survive in the future if it stays that way. Just my thoughts ;D

As a shitcoin started by miners to disturb bitcoin itself, I have to say it even survived a very long period that I didn't assume it would. Just like all the memecoins now, I assumed they won't last this long and they did, and bitcoin cash is showing us the future of all the shitcoins. You could get to a high level for a while, as long as there is a hype around it and there is a community behind it, any shitcoin could go on for a while. However, it is obvious that we are not going to see them succeed in the long term.

Things like ETH stay and show how strong it is by actually being a utility coin, people actually use it for something. What does bitcoin cash work for? What is the utility of it? It is a totally useless coin that everyone should stay away from and that is what people have done eventually. It will just keep on going down the list from now on.

And even if BCH implements smart contracts in the future, it still needs to provide something new that would blow people's minds. If it's more of the same, it won't gain any traction whatsoever. It doesn't guarantee that coins that are in the top 20 have a good future, because I see the popularity of Bitcoin Cash continues to decline.
Because investors are aware that Bitcoin Cash is a shitcoins created to generate profit for developers, and also his other goal to replace Bitcoin
proved to be a failure. So there really is no reason to invest in Bitcoin Cash, I predict Bitcoin Cash is a project that will disappear in the future.
Because the price of Bitcoin Cash is getting further away from the ATH price that was achieved 4 years ago. Sorry to Bitcoin Cash supporters,
I don't see any hope of Bitcoin Cash going big in the future. I even suggest selling Bitcoin Cash right now while there are still demands.
Because we can invest in other projects that have potential and have a bright future.

Do you think there is any hope for BitcoinCash?  Is it still one of the major alts that will pump?  Will it reach previous all time highs?
Capping 11 billion and still seats at Rank 21?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/

Of course this Coin ( as they called a copy cat of Bitcoin) still has potential to increase , though no assurance for how long but Holding this is valuable compared to complete shitcoins.

I still have some Bitcoincash in my folio that i bought year ago so Keeping this wont hurt my funds .

We have some good discussion about this because I am also feeling it's not easy for BCH to go like right now we have few other meme or shit coins this will stay around this price for some time and if we have some very significant rise in bitcoin this will surely have some good impact on this as well and BCH will be also on good move. Developers doing nothing for this, but just small community is supporting which is giving some better way.

If we want some very good movement then surely it's depend on team as well they need to update and bring some better features which give good heads up to community but here we have nothing, so it's just about bitcoin if it's going high then surely having some impact on this as well.

Patience always rewards,  you just have to keep until investors return, the cycles are always the same and always repeat. only that today they are repeated more often not like 5 years ago that took up to 1 or 2 years to repeat and as always if you are not professional trading and you do not know how to do technical analysis, just buy the fall and keep the investment for a few months or years but if you know how to trade you can multiply your investment quickly so good luck to everyone.

Exactly. Just because BCH is at the top ranks in market cap, doesn't mean it's going to have a good future. Only projects that are able to provide real use cases in the mainstream world will survive in the long run. Bitcoin Cash is no different than Bitcoin with the exception of the increased block size. Why would someone buy BCH when they could buy BTC? For scalability proponents, I'd say that BTC is quite scalable with the use of an off-chain scaling solution like the Lightning Network. Increasing the block size greatly reduces decentralization in the long run. It's no wonder why money keeps flowing on BTC than on BCH. The latter needs to ramp up its development efforts if it wants to gain the spotlight. Otherwise, it'll fade into oblivion. With fierce competition in the crypto/Blockchain space, it'll be hard (if not impossible) for Bitcoin Cash to become the third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap again. Just my thoughts ;D

Not really, patience can be rewarded if the assets that you are holding are worth the wait, the best example of this is bitcoin obviously, but in the case of bitcoin cash what is exactly what you are waiting for? What can cause the price of bitcoin cash to go up faster than bitcoin? After all even if the price of bitcoin cash went up it means nothing if the price of bitcoin and other assets are growing even faster, as you are losing money by not being invested in those coins.

I wont really be tying up any altcoins in the market even its a forked bitcoin with Bitcoin itself in terms of price potential even though they do really have chances on increasing their price but doesnt mean

that it would go in level with bitcoin but in the sake of diversification then its not really bad to take up some consideration or making out such step for that kind of benefit. So its up to someones

own level of risk management whether they do still decide to hold and believe about BCH potential or would totally jump into another one.

I got these coins after the fork in 2018 (or 2017 I can't remember anymore), but for a long time I was shorting it. The volatility of the coin is not weak, it is possible to trade wet and hold it for a long time.

It's all about Bitcoin. The rest of the other coins are simply alternatives with no real use cases in the mainstream world (in some cases). Bitcoin Cash was only created as a means to enrich miners and developers themselves. The airdrop of BCH to every BTC holder was pretty good, as it was basically "free money". Everything looked like reds and roses until the hash wars of 2018 came in. The subsequent forks (Bitcoin SV and then Bitcoin Cash ABC) greatly reduced confidence into Bitcoin Cash. It's yet the day where BCH is struggling to reach a new ATH. Only the bull market has kept it afloat, but if people keep losing interest in BCH, the project might not last for long. At least, the original Bitcoin (BTC) will survive. As long as decentralization prevails, nothing else matters. Just my thoughts ;D

BitcoinCash still has hope and even BitcoinCash has very good potential in the future. BitcoinCash is at number 21 on coinmarketcap, so BitcoinCash can go up from year to year because of the large number of supporters.
In addition, the price of BitcoinCash is around $560 so it can still be reached by BitcoinCash lovers who have not much money.
I'm sure BitcoinCash will hit its highest level in the coming year.

Haha, it's really been a while since I last saw any discussion concerning this coin, this here made me remember way back in 2017 when bitcoin cash ABC and its counter part bitcoin sv used to be very popular and dragging which is king and should dominate, really amazing how things that were so important yesterday become absolute trash today.
Now, I personally think that bitcoin cash fate lies in the hands of bitcoin, bitcoin"s price movements will determine how valuable bitcoin cash becomes as time passes, except bitcoin cash secures some good utility for the coin anytime in the future.

Unfortunately we didn’t see any huge movement with Bitcoin cash especially when the price of Bitcoin goes rise to another all time high, so technically there is no hype yet with Bitcoin cash though it remains on top 21 position and that is not a bad level for a fork of Bitcoin. I think it will still pump in due time, so if you’re holding this just wait for their momentum especially on the next altcoins season.
Altoicn season is always next on line but there would be no definite time on when it would happen which does simply means that you would really need to

hold if its needed and its true that there were no sentiments or news that correlates with BCH and as mentioned about its current ranking then it wasnt so

bad for a forked coin and if you are a holder then you wouldnt really be having no other options but to held it up until it does have some
significant increase but well its your choice to make.

A large number of its allies consider it the genuine bitcoin and figure that one day it could supplant it, and something to that effect is never going to happen regardless of how much those individuals support this fork. Assuming in some way Bitcoin kill, expect the enormous market cap coins/tokens to move after, etc.

I think you're referring to the "hash wars" which began in 2018 (NOT 2017). That turned into a major disaster for Bitcoin Cash, as it proved the network wasn't as reliable as its proponents claimed it to be. Businesses want stability and reliability, in order to reduce risks of loss as much as possible. After the network split into two, people became tired of Bitcoin Cash in its entirety.

Nowadays it's all about dApps and NFTs, as people pour money into cryptocurrencies with smart contract capabilities. Bitcoin Cash is lacking innovation, so I doubt it'll be able to stay ahead of the game. I'd focus more on the original Bitcoin (BTC) since it's the one that started it all. Just my thoughts ;D

yes, there will be hope in the future that BCH will climb higher beyond its previous high. The price of BCH has reached $3,900 in the year 20/12/2017 but at this time the price of BCH has fallen very far around $575. Indeed BCH is a very cheap coin than Bitcoin and has dropped considerably from its peak price.
BCH is ranked 22 on coinmarketcap and has a trading volume of around $1,282,423,564. I'm sure BCH will exceed its highs in the future.

even though it is not as popular as BTC but if you look at its movement, Bitcoincash has very bright potential and prospects, because users and demand for BCH from time to time are increasing, currently the value of BCH is US$ 574 and I think BCH will be in a very position better in the next few years,

Of course! There's been a lot going on with BCH lately. Since then BCH has had a laser focus on optimizing L1 to maximize blocksize while keeping fees low. It has several independent node implementations, strong developer support, and a clear roadmap.

No wonder BCH in the final quarter of this year did not experience a good increase so that it is still very inferior compared to others where other coins often experience price increases and BCH does not experience it, even if there is only in a very small size.

I didn't expect more on Bitcoin cash. It is a derivative coin of bitcoin that has its own blockchain network. Although some of its features such as transactions are slightly superior to bitcoin, this coin does not have any meaningful changes to the market. Only pumps can be taken from this coin just like any other large investor who will take an important role in it.

With the lots of new trends day-by-day, BCH needs a big hype in able to reach its previously All-Time High. For short-term trades, BCH is still far one of the good coins out there to be included on the list in terms of "trading purposes".

Any hope for Bitcoincash? In what way? Having a trading volume of US$2B, the dominance is clearly there in the market.

It has its dominance in the market, but there is no big price movement compared to ethereum that were once equal in price with bitcoin cash. It has got its ATH price to be around $4400, and now it is around $560. During the bull market this could've reached above $2000, but there is no big movement. This shows it is good for trading than long term holding. There is periodic fluctuation that is good to make profit on regular buy/sell practice.

Whatever happened to actual utility and transaction volume plus diversity that only Bitcoin and Ether have?

BitcoinCash is not trash or dirt, in general BitcoinCash is good and not the same as dirt coins even though the decline this year has been very frequent for him, it is clear that BitcoinCash still hasn't lost its identity to remain popular and has potential.
Many years have passed since the appraisal and heated talk of bitcoincash, even the worst criticisms have been erased by time, now the definition of BitcoinCash is a good and intact project but it contains too much of the classic and the deposition of time, what I mean is that the market has taken a new look and accepted it but the flow of time has betrayed its youth, almost the original vitality has been lost. Need to diversify more areas of support to have hope, if BitcoinCash does not have these new standards, competition and the next future will be abandoned.

I guess one hope for Bitcoin Cash to really go for an upside rally is to hope that Bitcoin goes on a rally. At least it will benefit from the pull effect then. As for Bitcoin Cash alone, it is a bit difficult to name a specific role that it has. It is much cheaper than BTC, yes, but it is as slow. When you want to send it to an exchange and some require 10 confirmations, it feels like an eternity. Even then you got much better options if it is just for the purpose of getting money from one exchange to another.

Exactly. Without hype, Bitcoin Cash won't be going anywhere. It's not about trying to be "the original Bitcoin", but rather about bringing real use cases to the mainstream world. When investing into BCH, you should ask yourself: What value does this coin bring to the world? As long as BCH resembles Bitcoin, demand will be at its lowest.

In my opinion, there are better coins on the market with innovative features and a strong ecosystem of services around them. Smart contract platforms is where the money's at, so BCH's hopes of success seems to be a distant reality. I'd focus more on the top players in market cap, since they're the ones that're bound to increase to new All-time-highs. As long as you play your cards right, you'd have nothing to worry about. ;)

There is no one to take it into the controversy. Earlier it was headed by leading investors on Bitcoin. Further there is none to support which is the important reason why there is no big push on Bitcoin cash. If I'm not wrong this need to be pushed, or else it'll loss its importance. As the market is full of NFTs and more potential projects, it is hard to move with positive phase within a short time period.

Bitcoin Cash is a fork of Bitcoin, one of the most popular cryptocurrencies on the market. Unlike Bitcoin, the blocks are significantly larger.
Overall, bitcoin cash is a strong cryptocurrency that is easy to buy and store, although there are some concerns about its structure. but has strong potential to pump

It's the best coin I think to use with old ASIC miners that were made for the SHA256 algorithim, which is the one Bitcoin uses.  You can mine with them for BCH and actually get something, but mostly you use them in colder weather to heat the house.

BCH has smart contracts though a sidechain called "SmartBCH". But the cryptocurrency is still a Bitcoin fork, so there's not much to it. Things would've been different if Bitcoin Cash made its own brand. It only went up for a short period of time because of the hype. Now that people are focused on "De-Fi" and NFTs, BCH's demand has been declining at a slow pace. It used to be the fourth largest cryptocurrency by market cap, but smart contract platforms took its place.

How far will BCH go will greatly depend on its development progress. Real use cases are a must for the project to succeed. I'd focus more on the original Bitcoin (BTC) since it's the main mover of the market. Just my thoughts ;D

At the beginning of the emergence of bitcoin cash there was a lot of debate, many people even thought it was just a shadow and an opportunity to scam, but the fact is that it can survive until now, I think with the advent of defi and NFT the light of BCH dimmed so many people left BCH, and I've been selling BCH a year ago then when the price was around $290.

it all also depends on the market movement, guys, if there is still strong support for BitcoinCash and many investors are buying BitcoinCash, of course, BitcoinCash will continue to grow and the price will also be high until today the BitcoinCash price still reaches $467.36.
Now the price is even lower than that guys, so in general Bitcoincash still has to struggle to get investors interested in it so that it can have a better value or price than the previous one in the market, although not for the new ATH.

There's so many hardforks that came after BCH that I just don't really see it as a longterm thing. It might still be around in a few years, used by some, but just not in the volume that is required. It might still pump every bullmarket, probably less so than Bitcoin, with temporary exceptions.

I don't believe CW is satoshi, but there's a lot of people that do, and BSV just got a much fiercer fanbase, it's probably going to overtake BCH at one point.

it all also depends on the market movement, guys, if there is still strong support for BitcoinCash and many investors are buying BitcoinCash, of course, BitcoinCash will continue to grow and the price will also be high until today the BitcoinCash price still reaches $467.36.
Now the price is even lower than that guys, so in general Bitcoincash still has to struggle to get investors interested in it so that it can have a better value or price than the previous one in the market, although not for the new ATH.

It's impossible for this token to get supporter and attention that they get before since the coin was split multiple times which means that there original miners and supporters is already decreased. Traders and investors is not an idiot anymore to invest on this kind of shit rather than Bitcoin itself. Roger Ver and Craig Wright is a well known clown on crypto so there token that they are representing is already performing base on there founders image.

Well, I have been using Bitcoin Cash for a couple of things just over the last week. I have to admit that the fees are really nice for now. Disadvantage is that it has the same transaction speed as Bitcoin and requires a couple of confirmations, which is annoying at times. Fee-wise it's pretty decent.

As you wrote, there were many forks which, like BCH, did not contribute anything new. These types of ideas are nothing long term, just a desire for a quick profit. It is possible that with some big bull run we will see BCH price pump. However, in my opinion, the prices of all forks will slowly go towards zero. (BSV also)

Hard to invest long-term on this type of coin because if you will look at it, there's really no reason why they should exist. We already have bitcoin and these forked coins are not needed anymore, for what? Additional confusion for newcomers? Because if you ask, what's the main purpose of this? I can't think of a very good one. I will store btc rather than these forked coins.

I would say it can't hurt to have Bitcoin Cash around. Not everyone likes it, that is true. But from the perspective of transaction fees you have to admit that Bitcoin Cash is way superior compared to Bitcoin. That is valid especially in times of high transaction volume.

You've said it yourself. With so many forks, BCH will only lose its "substance" over time. It's already experiencing decreased interest/demand from traders and investors alike. People nowadays are focused on NFTs and smart contract platforms, so the future of BCH looks bleak as a single-purpose blockchain network. Increasing the block size is not enough to attract the masses into it. The project needs a little "pizzazz" for it to rise towards new heights. Knowing that the hash wars of 2018 impacted BCH's mainstream adoption, it's probable the cryptocurrency will fade into oblivion in the not-so-distant future. I wouldn't worry about BCH since it's all about the original Bitcoin (BTC) these days. Just my opinion :)

Yeah. BitcoinCash always follows Bitcoin and its movement is based on that. Many people considered this fork as another part of bitcoin. So there is always hope for bitcoincash, it could record ath f btc can doing well. but you btc fail to increase, then impact would be seen on bch too as if they are related to each others. although altcoins industry always followd bitcoin movement, as normal

Not really, it has good trading volume as it is the fork of bitcoin. This has got it more popularity among the altcoins. However to the hype and the controversy of being the real bitcoin during the time of fork it climbed high in value, but it wasn't able to keep up the growth get continued. It has dependence over the bitcoin market, and nowadays it has been getting used on more fiat based pyramid schemes. I got added to few such groups, on seeing the analysts it is pure scam approach.

Do you think there is any hope for BitcoinCash?  Is it still one of the major alts that will pump?  Will it reach previous all time highs?
Stop dreaming mate, best to try changing course and Bet instead to Bitcoin lol.

there are so many currencies that there are best to take long term then why BCH? do you really believe in Clone currency instead of Legit one?

I think it is more better to Bet in Bitcoin Silver(of course another Shitcoin) than Bitcoincash that is my own opinion .

Is this the Bitcoincash that you are talking about?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/

from 4,400 All time high and now sitting at 400$ value? lol if this is having  a good future then this must at least have update in increasing?

the price now is just 10% of the ATH that shows how BS this coin is while Bitcoin and other Bitcoin fork coins are moving up.

It is almost like many investors have already moved on from buying and holding this coin, bch use to have good value before and can recover quickly from any dip but now it struggles to get 5% up, I made a decent profit flipping bch back then, it is no longer profitable holding this coin.

People simply lost interest in Bitcoin Cash after the "Hash Wars" of 2018. The blockchain became relatively unstable for a short period of time, forcing businesses to look for other alternatives. Constant forking of the BCH blockchain has led to the lost of credibility among people in the mainstream world. There are two variants of the BCH chain (mainly BSV and eCash) trading on the market today. They have taken a portion of BCH's market share, effectively undermining the parent cryptocurrency's position in market cap.

Nowadays it's all about "De-Fi" and NFTs, so any cryptocurrency able to provide smart contract features will surely gain the most attention in the mainstream world. BCH has a sidechain with smart contract functionality, but not many people are aware of it. The number of dApps on it (if any) is pretty small, so it's highly unlikely BCH will take off soon. If demand continues to sink deeper, I'm afraid BCH will fade into oblivion like the rest of the other "shitcoins" on the market. I wouldn't worry much about Bitcoin Cash as long as we have the original Bitcoin (BTC). Just my thoughts ;D
