Title: Leke Pehla Pehla Pyaar
Post by: pawanjain on October 02, 2021, 03:30:40 PM
We have seen bitcoin being shown in TV series, Web series and movies but have you ever seen bitcoin being shown in a song ?
I guess no but here we are. I was just watching a song on TV today when I saw the bitcoin symbol BTC being shown in the song.
Now this is some next level promotion for bitcoiners  ;D Honestly, I don't think the general public would have even noticed that since many people don't know the symbol of bitcoin.
Below is the link for you guys to listen to some nice music and watch bitcoin being used as a prop

Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS1KrgB49H4

The first occurrence is at 1:32 and later it was shown many times in the video.
I guess bitcoin has surely caught many peoples attention as a money making scheme which is why it used as a money prop in the video.
What do you guys think ?

That was pretty fast, if you had not given the timestamp then I would have missed it too. I am certain those who have already watched this song would not have noticed that symbol and most of them are not aware of the logo. BTW, any idea what is the name of that model with the singer? Is she Neha Sharma?

I think you are talking about Surbhi Jyoti. She does look like Neha Sharma though  ;D
Even I had not noticed the first occurence on the TV but noticed it when it was shown 2-3 times again later.
It was in the youtube video that I found out about it. But it's good to see that bitcoin is being compared to valuable things like gold and diamonds.

Remix is trending.
Everyone is remixing old melodies thinking it will go viral. Some did but not all remixes are great. No more gold buy only Bitcoin locket in gold ;D. Atleast Indian entertainment industry have potrayed something positive about Bitcoin and have not related it to crime and underworld.

I saw this song on TV but didn't really notice this thing, only after your time stamp I was able to notice the symbol. Haha It's interesting to see how these digital media outlets are changing the perception of people, while once gold was considered as a sign of richness and luxury, now holding bitcoins and cryptocurrencies is considered as a sign of being Rich and Royal, if these things continue, i am sure middle-aged people too will realize the importance of bitcoin and how it is really a store of value and the valid option of investment.

The majority of Indians still feel gold is a sign of richness and luxury. In my opinion, only the millennials feel that Bitcoin is a sign of richness and luxury as most of them are into cryptocurrency trading. The perception will change gradually if the media or the entertainment industry starts focussing more on the positive side of Bitcoin than the negative.

LOL. I usually pretty much never listen to such songs but that singer showing off with his golden Bitcoin pendant was a nice twist. If Bitcoin and Gold catches on, India will probably be the biggest market of Bitcoin gold jewellery.

If this song catches on, maybe Bitcoin pendant will become the new gifting trend to your newly wed bride. Though this also highlights that people are associating Bitcoin with wealth. This maybe the case for some but for most of the Indians on the forum, crypto and Bitcoin is really about slogging to earn an honest income, nothing like sudden wealth and prosperity that the video is portraying.

What do you think ? Does the gold pendant with bitcoin logo will actually hold bitcoin as well such that it's private key is engraved or something or should it just be a bitcoin logo.
If the prior, then that will hold so much value in itself since gold is highly valuable and so is bitcoin. Although the engraved private key is an obvious risk  ;D

Damn, you guys won't believe this. Another song I was hearing today 'randomly' is showing crypto symbols.
This video was suggested by the Youtube algorithm. The video has 2 symbols out of which one was bitcoin and the other one is Euro I guess (correct me if I am wrong).

Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2LBCywLYZk

The coins were displayed only once throughout the video. Occurrence was on 02:02
I liked the line the singer said while these symbols were shown.

The line is : I be making money while I'm sleeping  ;D ;D
Which is indeed true LMAO

First of all if youtube showed you this video just because of the Bitcoin sign then I am shit scared of this algo, is it so good that it can even intercept which screen you saw multiple times and then recommend likewise content or is it just because this too is a new music video? Anyways bitcoin surely now is a sign of getting rich dudes, looks like we should make some merchandise for ourselves with a hashtag of bitcointalk or at least telling people that we are the early adopters, I don't think there is much meaning left in hiding your identities from people, crypto is mainstream and trendy now.

Bhai youtube algo is very dangerous. Couple of years back my gf (now wife) was looking at some outfits for her comic com cosplay themed party and she was using my lappy for this adventure. Fast forward  i still get some juicy recommended cosplay videos every now n then. Men will be men so i do click such videos sometimes and it automatically leads to my character assassination by her taunting comment " Haan ab tawaif hi bana de aap hume, tharki!"  ;D

Edit

Guys anyone here interested in T-20 WC pool?

This guy is Imran Khan, if I am correct he is a Pakistani origin UK based singer who is also popular in India. That was Bitcoin and Euro logo that was shown in that song. It is now obvious that Bitcoin is being treated as a commodity that can make you rich.

The scariest algorithm is of Facebooks. If you are using their app and have done any kind of search on your mobile then they will know it and start displaying adverts related to your query.

Youtube probably showed me this video because I keep listening to such music and since this was relatively a new song it popped up on my screen.

I am not sure if there's a workaround for stopping these ads on facebook since I don't use it much but I do know how to stop these ads in our mobile device.
Google ads are the most scary things for me since it keeps popping up ads all over Android devices.
Thankfully we have ways to remove these personalized adverts from our device. On Android, we can reset the google ads from the settings which clears the ad data.

There is another way to remove Google ads, just stop using chrome browser. There are other browsers available on the play store like Opera, Firefox and Brave that block tracking scripts, cookies and block adverts. The problem with Facebook and its associated apps is that they control their environment and do not allow third-party apps to control it.
