Do you guys drink alcohol?
if yes what do you prefer beers , cocktails or hard alcohol such as vodka , wiskey and cogniac
I like to experiment , but my go to drink is vodka and redbull

I take alcohol once in awhile most especially when hangout with my friends. I prefer taking beer

I don't drink any alcohol, I find the taste of it too bitter when I was younger and that's why until now, I've never tasted it again.

Guess alcohol should be made bitter or sour in places with issues of alcoholism. I actually prefer the bitter ones and wonder if there are lots of people like me.
I always thought that alcohol should be made bitter or sour for those who are suffering from the addiction or people who could abuse it if they are allowed to drink for health reasons(maybe to ease pain naturally). The sweet taste could make lots of people easily addicted to it. The worse is getting addicted to bad alcohol filled with synthetic substances.
I think only the natural ones that are filled with nutrients could be allowed sweet, not with artificial sweetener... should be naturally sweetened probably with sugars from fruits.

We have different taste buds and what's bitter, I don't like that much and as well as spicy. The first time of tasting it, I didn't really like it since I'm not really an alcohol drinker.

Well, if alcohols are sweet, your explanation is right. I might like it and would be addicted to it since I like sweets.

That will really make me wanting more of it and even if I drink that everyday, I would love to do that but it's the other way around and it's better for me that I don't drink.

My father-in-law ran a bar from 1938 to 1983 he was not a drinker.

My wife worked there a few years and does not drink.
My demented bro-in-law worked there a few months and did not drink.

But my mother-in-law drank and my father in laws mom that cooked for the bar both drank.

I don’t drink much but on the rare occasions I do, I like to go wild. I can drink anything really except neat spirits, I really prefer to avoid them.

I like beer and cider. But recently I tried coffee with cognac and I really liked that hot drink. This recipe came from France. This alcoholic cocktail creates a double load on the heart and blood vessels, so for hypertensive people, it's especially dangerous. Personally, I don't like it because I'm not a fan of hot alcoholic beverages. But many people like it so you can try to make this drink. You just need to make a cup of coffee and add 50ml of cognac, or as much as you want.

Am not a fan of alcohol cos it distablizes my system but that doesn't mean I dknt take it. Maybe like once or twice in 6 months and most especially when I need a break from the life stress. I just take it and the next thing is to sleep off

When I was a student, there was a time that I could drink almost without interruption. I felt good. It was fun and cool.

Now, even if I drink, it is very rare and it is not so easy for me to cope with the elimination of alcohol from my body. At the moment, I can say with certainty that a sober lifestyle is preferable for me. Control is very important to me.

Of course I drink alcohol... and lots of it, but not as much as when I was younger. When I was in my 20s I drank 36-48 bottles of beer every day plus shots of liquor. The last time I drank 40 beers in a day was when I was in my 50s. Now that I'm in my mid-70s its more like only 40 per week.

Yes I do to some extent. I take very chilled alcohol,it feels good drinking it but my maximum is just two bottles after which I stop and if I continue to take more I will end up drunk and misbehave...that's why I take it whenever I feel like.

Well lately I have been going through rough times in my personal life even not related to crypto so I’ve been experimenting with different drinks and I think I finally found my favorite drink of all time.
It is a bourbon amaretto sour. It’s basically the best drink I’ve ever tasted. It’s essentially an old school amaretto sour but it has bourbon in it, shaken with a little egg white and it is heavenly.  I highly recommend it.

Way back , i use to be alcoholic , i cannot even sleep without alcohol running thru my veins lol.

Now i am a New man, that hates vices .

People around me are always so surprised when they find out I don't drink alcohol. Why is that so hard to believe? I mean, I don't like the taste of it. And I mostly feel sick even after a small amount. I could probably make myself drink a beer or two, but what's the point?

I drink alcohol only when there's a celebration

Yes I do drink alcohol. But don't take it much because it's not really good for my body system. The last time tried over drinking it  wasn't funny at all  as I was seeing Everything to be inferior to me. It didn't stop there , at night I messed up my room , my bed and my bedsheet. I vomitted Everything I ate that day because of that alcohol I took and the funny part of it is that I was filmed and recorded, when I got to know my self and was watching the video my friends recorded it was funny sha but I realized I really messed up and was ashamed of myself, drinking alcohol has to do with the quantity your body can consume without any negative effects.

Well as I have said already I do like to enjoy a bourbon amaretto sour but this is only for a special occasion. I do not even have this drink on my Birthday but for when I am feeling down about things in my life.
Lat night I had a glass of champagne because I was at a small party to celebrate the new year. I do not drink often and I only had it to be included in the event. I did not finish but I was a chance to celebrate with some close friends I do not get to see very much.

Well if was a sport I would have been reigning world champ!   Then I cut back to one drink but the problem was a finding a clean enough 5 gallon bucket to make it in.

I didn't start drinking until post divorce early thirties, just going out and something to do I guess. But it got bad a few times and had real it in.

Fast forward two year ago this month the woman I truly loved and cherrished ended herself. She got a bar back PT job and that was the beginning f the end. She had real problems with alcohol and her real mental issues.  She had a lot of demons. Point is no really anymore, I've stared at a drink I bought then gave it to a friend, just don't love it like I used to.

If you drink alcohol very much take vitamin B1. There's like 5 things it does with alcohol. Alcohol depletes this vitamin. So it makes hangovers worse and can worsen withdrawals. Effects nervous system (the shakes), gate functions (staggering), energy, and causes insomnia. Also, can lead to brain damage.

I have never drunk alcohol in my life I do not like it many people drink it with a lot of love I do not like it.They harm us lot and if we drink them for long time, there are many food items besides it.Most people do not like drinking as a part of modernity.

Yes I do take alcohol and have no specific but there came a day I had an assorted of it at same time til now, it was an aftermath because I already pleaded to my God for rescue when it was like the World was indeed rotational just like the Geography would tell as the the houses and everything around was revolving and I thought I was on my judgement day. I still want to taste one again but I am holding on with my convenant of that God that saved me that year.

I do but only occasionally. Some of my faves:

1) San Miguel Pale Pilsen - always goes down smoothly
2) Good Day Soju - perfect movie companion, a whole bottle of shots for a 2 hour movie
3) Chivas Regal Whiskey - I guess the more expensive of the three, good for relaxing at nights before going to sleep

Lastly

Tequilla shots with friends. Only when I'm out and dining outside. Kind of sad to have it alone unlike the 3 above. XD

Not really for everyone. It could be banned for people who can abuse it or those it controls. The drinkers should be in control and know when to stop to avoid getting drunk or abusing it

Besides, there are good and bad alcohol. The bad is typically artificial(modified or wrongly produced) and should be banned. The good is natural. It should not be banned nor be illegal because it's good. If it were not important for humans/society our CREATOR wouldn't have made it. Certain naturally fermented foods or drinks contain little amount of it. The problem is abuse of good alcohol. It may be banned for certain people while the bad should be banned for everyone.

So, there is nothing wrong in consuming alcohol so long as it's the good one and won't be abused. Better to ban yourself from taking it than wait for government if you abuse it.
When you hear that alcohol (good one) is banned/forbidden in certain countries, you can be sure the ban doesn't affect those who are morally allowed or permitted by our CREATOR to consume it... It's for those who abuse it. But those who are permitted to consume it need to avoid doing it in the presence of people who are not allowed to consume it so they don't copy and get themselves in trouble.
