What's the G stand for cos I'm confused 🤣🤣🤣 anyways the best GPU for mining right now is rx6600XT and 3060s or the Ti but you will easily find the AMD 6600XT than the Nvidia 3060ti, if you want something more cheaper gtx1660 super and rx580s got you covered

In answer to the Question, what is the best GPU for GPU mining. I would answer that the RX6800XT or no XT doesnt matter it is the best imo but i dont do Nvidia as a personal choice not that there are any available lol. I would happily buy RVII all day long but sadly not possible....

For a small home setup RX6600 is ok but will take more space than RX6800:

RX6600 32Mhs @ 80W  cost £500
RX6800 64Mhs @ 150W  cost £1000

benefit of RX6800 over 6600 is density of hashing power per gpu and in the home such considerations may be critical due to space limitations. For e.g. A 6 GPU RX6800 rig is the same total hash rate as a 12 GPU RX6600 rig and with very similar power draw but there are clearly 12 GPU's take more space and PSU than 6GPU. on a side note im not sure Phoenix Miner supports RX6600 yet if that was the planned miner but it does support RX6800.

So, how much space you got and how easy can you obtain those GPU's now becomes the real question imo....

He's probably looking for GPU with 4GB of memory to mine some coins. OP, you can calculate various scenario on what to mine to find what is the best GPU for you, as long as you don't care that your mining options might be limited.

Why does it have to be 4gb btw? Is it because of your limited capital to buy some gpus, or is there another reason? AFAIK there are others who've asked about this before, so you might be able to find more ideas if you search on this board.

Presently 4G GPUs are the cheapest and the easiest to source out but you can't mine ETH or other coins that have over 4G DAG file already, you will be able to mine coins with low difficulty or brand new coins, here are few you need to do research on

1. ETC
2. Ergo
3. Ravencoin
4. RYO (cryptonight)

If you are wondering which video card is the best with 4 gb of memory, then this is rx 570 4gb, rx 580 4gb, rx 470 4gb, rx 480 4gb. 1050 4 GB loses in mining performance to those AMD video cards.
The R9 380 and R 290 4GB are very old graphics cards.
