If Bitcoin surges, shitcoins go up LESS, if Bitcoin goes through a dip, shitcoins go down MORE. Bitcoin is currently only a few percentages from ATH. Everything in this part of the bull cycle might be only for Bitcoin.

I still got some sh*t coins I would like to sell in nice price, so hope it will also go up.

But I think when you look in past for price inspiration, we can't predict it anymore, because such situation with Bitcoin price behavior (with few "small" corrections) hasn't been there yet.
Maybe it is because it is becoming so popular and unfortunately so commercial and whales are coming in (just for profit)

A perfect example of shitcoin.
With Bitcoin keep increasing these past few days, it's the season that altcoins are getting rekt. It's like they dumped too hard but when rebounding, a very low percentage of bounce. That's why we should never underestimate Bitcoin, even we may think there is low ROI for Bitcoin, I don't think that is only the reason why we should not buy it.

Yes of course I'm still fine with a few altcoins in hand.  :D

Shitcoin tends to always be opposite to bitcoin and currently bitcoin is up Shitcoin is still in decline, I don't know what cycle it is but for sure because some time ago the shitcoin pumped and they threw it away but basically it will follow bitcoin again, well we wait until bitcoin reaches ATH is met.

In fact I'm not too worried if bitcoin goes up by itself. There is still hope for shitcoins to rise.

It depends upon which shitcoin rises during this rally, some of the newer shitcoins might rally during this period but i am not sure about the projects that are already in the market as there are many project that died or are struggling to attract investors or users, so expect those to pump so that the developers gets out and make a huge profit  :D. I had a ton of shit coins and if those rises i will book my profit  :D.

This has always been the case with shitcoins. Only a few were pumped even by several thousand percent. Now, too, it will depend on the luck which coin gets pumped. Because I'm sure when Bitcoin hits the new ATH, some shitcoin prices will start skyroceking as well. Whoever manages to earn depends more on luck, because it certainly won't be all shitcoins. There are just too many of them now.

To be more precise I'm fine with altcoins, and not too focused on the hype movement of shitcoins. Even more so to see Bitcoin is quite good and in its ideal position. Some shitcoin connoisseurs are being careful and hopefully they won't get carried away just waiting for the ROI profit target to double.
Seeing the shitcoin hype, it's hard to predict, even pump and dump in a relatively unreasonable way.

They are not.

Shitcoins can go down because they will be shocked by the rise of Bitcoin. Investors will consider shitcoin value in USDT, not in BTC.

If Bitcoin breaks the ATH and heading upwards with a new parabolic run, shitcoins will lose their values so much. They can recover later but if you hold them, you will gamble that those shitcoins will have good recovery in BTC value. It is not good plan.

I discovered recently that shit coins are actually in the mud. The only crypto asset in my wallet which is currently in profit is Bitcoin and Ethereum. All others are yet to add value. Large respect for Bitcoin. Bitcoin remains the best crypto asset to hold come the next generation.

The rate of growth of shitcoins compared to the move of bitcoin for the past two weeks is not the same at the moment but during the last ATH of bitcoin to $64k many altcoins took ATH which means the growth level then was still high and encouraging. Example doge coin did a good run to a good ATH and hopefully it may take such move by the time bitcoin goes close to the ATH.

Yeah, my shitcoins has been horrible as well, few didn't even go up while bitcoin went up, literally watched bitcoin go from 42k levels to 55k+ levels and did not move at all. Most of them did move but not as much as bitcoin of course, only just one of them moved very high, even higher than bitcoin did. All in all I have this wallet where I send all my shitcoins and they are all there making absolutely no return at all and mean nothing.

If I sold them all and invest it in something proper, I could have made 10x return so far, and yet for some reason I am still not doing it, I guess it is some personal stuff, it makes me feel like I diversified even though they are shit and I hope that one day maybe one of them could skyrocket a lot and make it all worth it, I would be devastated if I sell it right now and then it goes up a ton right after I sell it.

After forgetting the shitcoin in the wallet, now i feel much better, because I can focus on more profitable coin trading. Shitcoin can never give you anything, although Bitcoin price was able to reach new ATH, Shitcoin will remain at rock bottom like trash that has no value.
to be honest, i don't really like shitcoin, some people hope that there will be a miracle from abandoned coin into money-printing machines. But for me, The real money-printing machine is on a project that has a clear direction.

I invested a lot in a few small projects six months ago and unfortunately most of them either lost their value or are standing still. Bitcoin or Ethereum would be a better choice for sure, but I was hoping that altcoin season would start and even shitcoins would start growing as it was in 2017. I keep holding them and not selling them because I believe the era for crypto projects is just beginning. We will see wher it will hit.. ;)

I think this bitcoin-only bull run so far not only affects shitcoins but the entire altcoins space. Even ethereum has been at a stand still ever since Bitcoin resumed it's UP only movement to attain a new ATH. Imo, until bitcoin reaches its new ATH, we might not see many altcoins making those massive moves that we're all expecting especially in shitcoins as those would take the most hits if bitcoin continues.

It affects all altcoins' prices as you said. I have some altcoins, including shitcoins, all of them are affected by the increase of Bitcoin now. But I am not worried because looks like Bitcoin won't suddenly reach $60k, it seems to stay at $57 first. If it happens, altcoin prices can increase again because Bitcoin is sideways. I think there is still hope for altcoins to increase again. As long as Bitcoin keeps increasing, it is also a good sign for altcoins' prices.

most of the shitcoins I have are only from smart token eth . and most of them are just a display in my wallet with no value at all. because to be honest I don't really have any hopes for coin like that either. let it be display with no value at all. most shitcoins like that don't have much effect on Bitcoin's rise or fall.

Shitcoin only goes up when the hype is there. It doesn't matter if the price of BTC or other Altcoins goes up or down. When the hype wears off the price will start to crumble.

The hubris itt is hilarious.  Just don’t forget alts will most likely start trending up in a strong way right after BTC pumps start to wane.  And BTC is having its day now but watch dominance go down as alts make up for the lost ground.  

...  Anyway, it’s always a good idea to always be humble.

I don't want to say much about the value of shitcoin at the moment although I still favor it, but maybe in the near future, when bitcoin becomes more and more important with legalization from many countries around the world. It is a better focus than the rest of the market. I think most shitcoins should be deleted if it's worthless.

Shitcoins are shitcoins, they are shit. If the question is how our portfolio is doing, mine is doing mighty fine these days, considering even the bitcoin increase itself was good enough to cover most of my losses, the other increases were just happy additions to that. However do I own coins that made a loss overall? Of course I do, they are shitcoins! :D. That is what they do, they make you a loss which makes them the shitcoin to begin with.

This is why I always wonder what people mean when they say something because sometimes what they mean and what I understand are two different things. You do not ask how shitcoins are doing, if they were doing good then they wouldn't be shitcoins to begin with. Or if you think there are shitcoins that does well in some short term periods then they are not really shitcoins but underperforming coins at the very best.

Of course, shitcoins will take the hit from Bitcoin harder than altcoins but please do not forget most shitcoins are in accumulate phase. They bought them because they thought it will be worth more in the future. Most don't buy shitcoins for the short term gain. I know most people have shitcoins will simple hodl as long as they can if it doesn't meet their price mark, usually over n time of entry price.

it's because of the bitcoin decline that occurred. and, naturally, people will release altcoins including shitcoins to get bitcoins. with the hope that bitcoin will continue to rally in the future with the new ATH.
but shitcoins seem to have a slightly different market pattern. sometimes they can make a high pump even in bad market conditions. It all depends on the response shown by the community to the project.

Depends on shitcoins, some of my shitcoins are rising as well and I do trade on a new project with a good hype in the market, I'm making enough while scalping. I don't hold shitcoins for long, I'd rather trade it right away because I know their real value. Bitcoin can still influence shitcoins with a good hype, so choose your best pick because not all can survive, trade accordingly and know every risk of dealing with the shitcoins.

The example you gave is indeed completely correct and one that I agree with. It's nice to have fun with shitcoins once in a while, I love that excitement even though I don't recommend it. The money I put in these shitcoins is very minimal in the money I risk anyway, so it doesn't upset me too much even if it drops a lot. I think stay away from cat and dog meme coins, they don't need a lot of excitement :D

My opinion on not buying shitcoin is very strong.  I would rather buy bitcoin and other quality altcoin at a loss in the present than squandering my money on some coin that will not last a month.  I do not buy or hold shitcoin!

I agree with you and I see that meme coins projects are nothing but hype because they have no actual use in the crypto market, but they are much better than shitcoins, as the value of shitcoins will not increase if there is any rise in Bitcoin because their project has failed or turned into a scam.

In the early days of the market, when someone is new, he's prone to buying those shitcoins because there's not that much experience. Well, I have some of it before but sold it at a loss because there's no hope on it anymore. With that experience, I've learned that holding bitcoin as the major share of my portfolio is the best but it doesn't stop me from sniping some altcoins that I think will do good in the future or even in the short term. I just have to do my own research before deciding to buy it.

We arent seeing the same situation wayback in 2017-2018 when bitcoin did really make some bull run and reaching all time highs because on that time, lots of shitcoins did really pumped out on higher levels
which people do really make big profits on just dealing with small amount of investment on where random pumps could really happen which compared to now that investors are already that

correct, lol actually i was expecting it will gonna climb so fast as well like what always happen but seems on this situation it's different, although bitcoin and alts showing positive sign and patterns but afterwards alts shows some fluctuation while bitcoin continually surging.  :D i don't know what's wrong with alts nowadays.. It is normal to see the altcoin falling following bitcoin price because that has been happening for a long time. But I am sure that if the situation becomes stable, the altcoin will start to increase and hopefully, that can give a chance for the altcoin to get new ATH like bitcoin price.

All altcoins follow Bitcoin's movement and actually, I noticed that if Bitcoin went up, altcoins overtake it while when Bitcoin falls, altcoins fall even more. Bitocin's price is an indicator that shows the general mood in the crypto market. I am used to tracking exactly its chart to understand if everything is calm or I should start getting rid of shitcoins and preparing for a bear market.

I have dozens of shitcoins, most of which are BSC and ETH tokens, I get from ICOs, bounties, airdrops and giveaways, no surprises from shitcoins yet because thousands of coins on the market make most coins die and cannot compete in the market.

I have shitcoins that are so bad that they didn't even get the chance to hit any exchange, such that not even forkdelta or etherdelta have any liquidity for them and that's just to tell you how worthless my shitcoins are,  so whether bitcoin goes up all down I don't think these will accumulate some value over time though I had a coin I really underestimated but a few weeks ago I was surprised to find that the coin had grown X100...I guess forgetting about some of these coins is rewarding over time.

I don't see anything special about shitcoin. When bitcoin increased a few days ago, shitcoin is still sitting there and there is no sign of moving in a better direction. But when bitcoin drops 10%, shitcoin even dropped drastically to 100%, for this reason we never hear of the surprises that shitcoin are capable of carving.
There are so many shitcoins in circulation, but we very rarely hear shitcoin hype, until now there hasn't been a single shitcoin that has been able to get out of the low zone, some of them have even been removed from circulation.

When ETH is having a problem and the solution is as clear as just repeating what SOL is doing or what AVAX is doing and yet they still don't do it, then you should ask yourself why? Why wouldn't ETH do that? Do you really think that there are developers out there who are smart enough to build something like SOL and nobody in the entire world could do that for ETH? It is obvious that ETH developers believe that it is not going to work, not for ETH and probably not for anyone else neither.

This is not just about tech development neither, it is about economy as well and that is what you should be looking into. You may think that gas fee is very high on ETH, and yet it broke ATH just recently, which means maybe this works and there is no rush to change anything. They are working on ETH 2.0 as well so I could easily say that they are working on a solution that they actually believe that may work.

The shitcoin developers criticized Bitcoin because of the high fees. Then they make the same mistake in their own blockchain by trying to implement a form of utility that might not even need a blockchain. The point is the question, are decentralized databases built for apps?

Right now I am only holding SHIB, Without SHIB I am not holding any other meme coins. I have bought a few million only for gambling purposes. I will hold those coins for at least 4-6 years. No one knows what will happen after 4-5 years. Maybe SHIB will be another Doge or they will be dead. If that SHIB hits $0, I will not regret it because I bought it as gambling.

There are a lot of Meme coins available and regularly adding new coins in the market. Sometimes I bought a few and sell them when I am in profit. Generally I tend to agree.  All the people gambling trying to stack sats by swing trading alts are gonna get burned at one point or another.  Not having bitcoin as the majority of your portfolio is the biggest mistake people continually make

Plus as you already mentioned, they gamble to “stack sats”. The “developers” also have questionable motives.

as you stated that you are gambling with it-memecoin- then there is nothing to worry about because you are making bets on a round table that might make you rich in the next 6/7 years. unlike us who are looking for safety and pursuing a profitable investment return. doesn't bankrupt us overnight so put aside shitcoins except to trade for a few days or a few hours

Some of my shitcoins are already dead. Shitcoin for me is tokens which i bought when launched in dex and then some of them dumped / people in my country said "rugpull" and it happen in really short times. Usually i bought that tokens only $10-$20 because basic thing must we know is use money we afford to lose.

RIP, i've put my money on $Dinger in the end of this month and the price keep falling. At that time the volume on uniswap is pretty high and right now the volume has been drop so drastically and i think because most of the investor are throw their money into #metaverse coins.

If you're holding shitcoins dont expect too much because its different to other coins that has utility and can survive even the market is bearish. Regardless if the market is in bullish or not, shitcoins increases will depend on hype of the community who believe it can give them a huge profit in short period. Thats why its very risky to invest in shitcoins, losing your money is very likely if you missed to sell during a pump.

Good thing I managed to pull out my shitcoins during their hype so I made profit already. But I dont advice anyone especially the newbies to take risk buying shitcoins. Its better to choose a coin that has use case and can solve real problem because its sustainable to exist even for long period.

No matter what we do, it will always be a shitcoin. I don't know why but I have been holding onto a large amount of shitcoin for almost three years now, and it still has no value. If we call it shitcoins, then it has no future regardless of our actions. Though I am relieved that I have not invested any money in it, having instead earned it through participation in the forum, I feel sorry for those who have invested their money in it and then discovered that the coin has lost its value.

Well sometimes I also think that bull cycle is only for bitcoin because all my shit coin holdings is still shit coins with no progress even in the middle of the bull run. But there are also a lot of coin that rise when bull run begin, sad to say the coins that I hold is not belong to the coins that rise during bull run.

Not only you stuck investing in Shiba Inu, but a lot of people bought Shiba Inu at a high price and are now waiting for the price to go up again to sell it.
But we know meme coins don't have strong fundamentals, so it might take a while to recover. Although I don't own a Shiba Inu, I do have some
other shitcoins, which I got from the bounty campaigns. And some have been in my wallets for years, because I can't sell the shitcoins I own.
Indeed, there is a risk of owning such shitcoins, it is very difficult to sell them, because there is no demand for these shitcoins. Therefore, don't even
think about investing in shitcoins, because in the end we will be stuck with these shitcoins for a long time.

Lots had been caught on the dump which is pretty normal.There are people who do make money and on the other side there are people who do lostt or

I tend to gamble only with my %10-15 of my portfolio with shitcoins. Because I know the fact that shitcoins will die so quickly if Bitcoin goes down. Shiba - I never even trade with it. I trade with many ERC20s in past and currently trying out BSC tokens mainly.

Not good, i spend around 100-200$ on shitcoin and right now my portofolio from my shitcoin not more than $50. I think the hype of shitcoin are over, most of the people are put their money into top coins and metaverse coins.

Basically all my shit coin are already dead, i have maybe around 15 to 20 shit coins and i do have regrets on buying them but i understand because that is the risk of being an investor before i buy my shit coin i am ready to have loss some of my small funds, that is already part of this world we are in. And as what i have experienced i have already learned some lessons before i invest in not well known tokens to avoid of getting loss of my funds now, that is what i have learned.

Many people have said this where if you choose Shitcoin like memecoin you must always be ready with the risk, namely losses because any hype will never last long in cryptocurrency because there is a lot of competition between tokens and coins now.

Shitcoins will never be valuable like bitcoin or ethereum, they might end up as dead coins in the long run. And with the current market condition, shitcoins are now becoming irrelevant even if we say they have high value, but when a serious dump hits the market, most of them will definitely not recover. So i must say that shitcoins these days are having a very hard time to bounce back again, because even bitcoin is facing tough times too. And when we say bitcoin is dumping, it will be a lot worst for shitcoins.

Honestly, very shitty. Good thing I ETH to even out those losses somewhat. Gonna be interesting to see what happens to the ETH BTC ratio next few days. Is ETH gonna print by itself, or is it going to be just majors, or everything up? I can't wait, got my popcorn ready.  ;D

All the crappy altcoins in my portfolio is doing well. Because they are mostly bounty rewards. They dont need to be pet or fed, so I just hold them and hope their value will rise. The only thing I regret that I dont have a tool that can monitor dex prices of these alts. I do it manually, and because I have lots of them, it takes a lot of time to check their value. That is why I am lazy doing it and missing some ATH opportunities.

I have some top alts like XRP, ADA, SOL, BNB, ETH. I am completely fine with their value drops. I know that it will recover in future and crypto has taught me to wait.

same with me, some Shitcoins that I bought at the beginning of this year haven't increased, their value has dropped far from the initial price, and some have even become dead projects. Also There is a project that migrates to new smart contracts manually while I don't follow the project progress, so I missed the migration process. Now I only hold old versions of tokens that have no value. You should think carefully before deciding to invest in shitcoin. Many other coins have good use cases and roadmaps at prices that are still undervalued.

But you also have to realize that dirt is not always delicious because most of that dirt is disgusting and also harmful, so if at that time you already made a profit through Shitcoin, in the future don't ever buy it again because the same thing will never happen on Shitcoins.

Better invest mostly in coins that have real value and use. Even there are many shitcoins now that we are able to gain profit, we must focus more on coins that will give profit in the long run. I still buy some shitcoins that are in huped but once I gained profit on it I moved on and focus more on top altcoins with better plan and goals. Shib is still ideal as the hype is on it even the market is experiencing decline.

Just like i said before that currently i have few of shitcoins on my portfolio such as Shiba inu and Raca and most of them were dumped because of bearish but i still hold it until next few months because seems one of them will be pumped on next year however i saw good movement from Shiba inu today that after listed on Kraken the price gradually increase back on track

Not all of them, I have some Shitcoins, but some of them went up and some went down a lot. Most people want to trade Shitcoins because it is quick to make profits, but they also forget that it is quick to fall and lose. The biggest mistake a trader makes in my opinion is to keep Shitcoins for a long time because its price will definitely continue In landing, Shitcoins is not suitable for investment but it is very good for scalping.

I think it's just luck mate,,,!!!, as we know in crypto anything can happen, obviously don't keep shitcoins for too long and don't be influenced by the hype, because most coin memes don't last long, so be careful mate, I personally have made a big profit from Shiba Inu, even though SHIB has gone down but I'm no longer interested in this coin, because investing with shitcoin has a very high risk.

That is the common thing about shitcoins, they are not always bad and they are not always making you lose a lot of money. Shitcoins could make you some profit as well, especially when they are starting for the first time, it isn't really something that we should be hopeless about but it is something that would basically be not that great neither.

I suggest you to basically just focus on what you could do with it as quickly as possible and that would be a lot better for everyone. If you stay too long with your shitcoin then you are going to end up losing money as well. yeah, it's sometimes happening to me while checking my wallet and it found to have a value out from shitcoin. Might be a lucky person as I expect nothing from them coz I just let it stay there for more than a year and that seems surprising but that gonna be the last coz I'd never join any shitcoins giveaways/bounties. I guess it depends on what type of your investor you are. Some are interested longer term and than you need to go the more valuable assets such as BTC or ETH. Others just like to play with shitcoins and you can make a profit out of it but you need to get in and out on the right time.

At this point I am just holding them because I believe that there is not much to do with them. I mean if I am not really doing anything special, then selling them would make no sense since they worth so little anyway, hell some of them worth less than 100 bucks and I would lose money on ETH gas fee if I ever want to sell them. Bitcoin has so much power over Altcoins that is why any little drop in Bitcoin, it will affect not just shitcoins but virsually every coins in the market which is going to make them falls severely. The last time I checked Banana, I was surprised that the token had been dumped severely which made the price to fall drastically. I wouldn't be surprised if I see other shitcoins falling in time coming. Every projects have their own time to shine in the market.

Sometimes you just have to handle all of your shitcoins like they are scams you are participating yourself. I know that is a weird way to look at it, but imagine if you were the mind behind that shitcoin and you created it to scam people, you wouldn't do that personally because you are either not that bad of a person or you are not interested in something like that. However, if you "imagine" it, there is nothing wrong with that. In that case you would realize that you either make a profit, or you would be happy that a shitcoin didn't go up and scammed anyone, so either way it is a win-win situation.

Obviously you would lose money, but at the very least you would lose money on some shitcoin you knew that had big risk for you and you are happy that it didn't scam even more people by growing bigger. That is the way I personally approach and do not get upset when they go down, feel like it saved more people.

I agree with you, but I don't think that OP meant ETH or other large cap Alts when talking about shitcoins. There is a large number of coins and tokens that were traded for millions in 2017 and have fallen 90-99.9% since. So people that bought back then have basically lost all their money. Of course the crypto space as a whole has grown, but this growth in distributed mainly on a relatively small number of projects (considering there are now >16k crypto currencies according to CMC)

If you refer to a whole trend on altcoins, then you are correct. But if you refer to an increase in an altcoin price, I think it is not fully true. Sometimes, an altcoin price can increase because of a pump caused by manipulation or certain events on the altcoin project. So, we cannot rely on the trend in Bitcoin price only to determine the possibility of the next trend in an altcoin.

That is the riskiest way but most profitable if lucky to find a GEM.

Actually all of that still really depends on market conditions, because at this time it is indeed more feasible to buy top coins at low prices than targeting unclear memecoins.

Depends on the coin but you are misinformed. If the marketcap is low it doesn't take much to move it significally more if bitcoin moves to 2x many altcoins will do 10x. That has happened in the past and now when bitcoin has such a high marketcap, moving it will be harder. And most investors move to lowcaps as they are not satified to make 2-5x with bitcoin. Then again ETH could flip bitcoin's marketcap and after that bitcoin will be a LOT less meaningful to markets.

No they are not okay OP, but what can I expect with them, they are shitcoins anyway and I already know what it can happen to them, it's just I can't sell them before due to the surge of eth fees. I have the same thing, I have plenty of erc20 tokens that are under 20 bucks right now, which means that between approval and swap the coss are over 20 bucks and I can't move them. The total is over 200 bucks right now, because I invested into many little things back in the day when the fees weren't like this. Tokens below 20$ value in ERC20 is already considered as dust since transaction fee for exchanging and transferring it is twice that amount. Your only chance to withdraw it is to wait for the ETH2.0 to be implemented because it will drastically reduce the transaction fee and shitcoin holders like you will benefit on it.

but for some time i do really check it out if ever one of them do make out some pumps.Those came from bounties too and thats the reason why i do quit because most of them doesnt really
have any actual value which it is a solid reason for you to completely stop or quit from it but its not bad to have some hopes for some time.

Same here, but what can we expect? Its a shitcoins so we can only rely on luck. Thats why im not expecting these shitcoins in my wallet to have a value in the future. I already lose hope and now its just an accessories. Its a memory in the past that I am once a fool. Anyway few of them gave me profit so its not that bad.

I agree it is said that shitcoins really depend on luck, most of my shitcoins from year 2018 are still shitcoin today and counting, expecting profit from shitcoin is just like a dream, people called it shitcoin because of the very cheap value and most of the investors really don't invest on shit coins because it is double risk than investing into meme coin.

Shitcoins are coins that can't be relied on for a period of time so it's very hard to get a high value and even not worth at all, so this is little different from a meme coin that can still be relied on for the short term when the hype season starts to come on or a temporary pump of effect good news about it.

Do not lose hope in your shitcoins. Maybe not all of them, but there could be one that could revive and do well. I had like 26 shitcoins in my metamask, back from the defi period we had last year and I lost hope in all o them because they looked like they were all shitcoins.

However, one them went up like 900% because of some news, which was a great news I agree but I got out, it went up even more than that after I got out, but I just wanted to take profit and leave. This allowed me to make profit from that coin, maybe a year after I invested. This isn't common, but I would be checking the value of them like weekly just in case if something like that happens.

I've also been deeply involved in several defi projects, admitting that most defi projects have dropped 90% in value.  But like you, I absolutely believe in the future, when regulations go mainstream and stave off opportunities to change the money structure… we all know they can be a bunch of crazy GEMs or hide but do not despair, if your people are right, expectations are not just dreams.

Yep, nowadays it's very simple to create a token on the platforms when newbies don't understand the issues of vulnerabilities on those tokens. I see a lot of shitcoins created with the idea of scams and how to declare hacker attacks so they can exit those projects without complaint:) and then they keep doing the same thing. There are also people who make big profits from those shitcoins, but in the long run, with such an approach, their money gradually evaporates. It's pitiful, but it can't be blamed when the greedy or the exploited are tying themselves together with delusional beliefs about the future, while those of us who believe in obvious things are still satisfied with the profit we get. It's not getting rich quickly, but it guarantees the safety of a profitable investment.

This happened to me as well. Not a shitcoin, not something terrible, I wasn't doing that horrible. But, I believed that ADA was a great back in the day and they were working very hard on it and I invested, this was like during 2017 or even early 2018 period. Then I just had to do something that is a bit more different and just ended up not really doing anything that made sense and got into it too much.

This took me a few years before it went up, and I was in a big loss for a few years. Then as we all know and went up and we all made money when we hold it. This is why I believe that it is quite good of a deal and we should be making a good return if we wait long enough.

ADA did take a long time to reverse the price situation to a high price, I also remember that in 2019 the price of ADA was only $0.005 and I had bought at that price as much as 93k ADA. but I couldn't hold it in for long because I was blown away when the price went up to $0.1 I immediately sold everything I had at that time.

 If it's a coin meme, I'm not really interested and never buy it because it has a tendency to cause fatal losses.

There is no point holding shitcoins, they give profits in very short term and you are expected to take profits once that happens, the trick of most shitcoins is getting into the game before their volume and liquidity increases and after that you should take profit and leave.

Shitcoin are tend to be manipulated or used by scammers to push and victimized people .

I forget all my shitcoin already but if there is a chance that it will have value then maybe that would be our luckiest day.

Sadly , most of my Shitcoins had been lost because of my Old wallet being not kept since i become not interested those days when the value died long time, its just recently that i turn interesting again when the market boomed last year and thinking every coin might have value again lol.

Try to find the wallet again now, maybe there are a number of assets that are already valuable at this time even though it is only limited to Shitcoin, but as long as it can be valuable and can be sold in the market, then it's not wrong if you try to find it again now.

Same like here i have been invested some project almost one year over but i can't sold their right now. I would like mention oks poolz krl fuse but still there price failed. Recently i had take a shitcoin 2local but my mind thinking there project gonna death soon. Some coins have been in my wallet for years, and I have access to that wallet. But when the market was pumping, I checked to see if there was any coin boom in my wallet, but did not pump a single coin in my wallet. This means that the coins I held were real shitcoin.
Because if there was a little bit of potential in those coins, then some of them would be pumping in the up trend of the market. Shitcoin has the power to make the whole fund of your wallet zero. So now I stay away from any shitcoin.

Holding shitcoins won't have any impact even if it's a bull market because the project doesn't demand to create a pumping movement in the market, so it's wiser to leave all shitcoins and open a new portfolio sheet filling the top coins for future asset gains, we have to change the mindset from instant profits on coin memes to sure profits to top coins in long term speculation.

Still there are lots of shitcoin in my portfolio, most of them are from bounty token that never listed on any exchange yet. Your suggestion is worth considering because it would be very wrong to ignore the top coins in favor of Shitcoins which are clearly not able to provide the benefits that their users expect.
So the wise choice is always to be on the top coin as it has been in many markets and it has proven to be profitable for many people in very good condition

I have been sold two shitcoins yesterday and now feeing good with tension free. There are best think don’t buy shitcoin even if already you take buy it then keep search opportunity when price going up like 1% profits then keep sold all. It's not fun to get scammed and lose money but the one that is having fun is the owners of those shitcoins because they are the ones that earn. They are created on the bsc network because it's cheap and anyone can get involved on it although there are also shitcoin on other networks but the number of them can be lesser. There are meme coins that have been on the top 10 list, shiba inu and doge coin are two of them.

It's possible for any shitcoin to follow their path as long as there are big people that will support them. It's only about the money, you know. NFT is the new thing but I think it was not successful as the meme coin in terms of scamming.

Many communities as bounty hunters have long lists for shitcoins, I'm sure many bounty hunters don't analyze projects from bounty so they join all new bounty, but in the end they just collect shitcoin list which has no value, so for investment and bounty hunter too analysis is needed so as not to waste time and investment.

I myself have more than 250 shitcoin tokens as a bounty hunter and the remaining 70% is from airdrops....
basically some tokens become worthless because the project is not successful and some are left behind in contrast to airdrops with an easy job we never do research first so the result is a pile of garbage scattered in the wallet

I was also surprised that the shitcoins that I bought in 2017 and 2018 went crazy in 2020, when the bull market was probably a really easy source of money to invest in and most of the shitcoins were pump/dump. Honestly, the money I spent without ever thinking it would one day come back, but I also laughed out loud when I sold them at an unbelievable price. It must have been a good idea anyway. It's a smart idea to approach this market.

Haha,,, my shitcoins are truly madly deeply shit that even when Bitcoin went ATH in 2020 they did not really budge much.

I actually let go of most of them even earlier around 2017-2019 and just kept the major ones like LTC and Monero,,, and recently XMR did really well so not worried.

It's really not that great when it's just one of the few that I've ever spent investing in this market. I can laugh when I see it sell. But honestly, apart from BTC or ETH and some other top altcoins, I've always hated shitcoins coming to this market and leaving a lot more loss than happiness.

It's alright to give break and it's even suggested if you are a long term investor. This way you would just have coins idle by and gaining value while you just go out and do whatever you want to. The difference is that you should always keep your coins safe and secure and remember where and how you put them. If you do not remember that then you are going to lose a lot of money.

You could have been one of those "he had 50 bitcoins but he threw it in trash) type of people if this didn't worth anything. Thank god that you didn't lost anything but at the end of the day it's still a lot more valid to keep them in a place where you could come back and find them.

Thanks GOD I did not go big in shit coins. I got profit from Safemoon,Safemars 6 months ago but sold immediately when many new meme coin entered in market. Shib also give me good profit. I made 4x almost there but when I feel that market is going to bear zone I sold all my shit coins in December and now i think it was good decision because all Shit coins are down very much and there looking no chance they they will up again in short term.

that's the goal from our investment , taking profits when it give us good return. holding too long could make our portofolio become minus for several months or even years. didnt be greedy save us from this condition and make our assets value growth. shitcoins maybe only work for hit and run, take profits and leave it to move another shitcoins or reinvest our profit into major coins.

What i do believe that most of the shitcoins are accumulated by Bounty's and Airdrops meaning that  many of the posters here and even those who keep silence have their coins for free?
though I also believe that why would not risk a money when the amount of shitcoin is super cheap?
meaning if each shitcoins  are just a CENT per piece then if you have 1 dollar then you'll have 100 shitcoin so there is only a need for 100$ for you to have a 10,000 coin to keep hold and let it there for very long time.

This diamond hand stuff could be very risky for some people. We are talking about shitcoins here, this isn't like some high end stuff that goes down. Yes, if you see bitcoin go down from 68k to 30k and still hold and buy even more to drop it to 40k average purchasing price, that is a great great thing.

However, in the current situation if we are talking about shitcoins, some of them will crash and they will never recover, you will never make that money back. Just focus on trying to find stuff that are reliable so that you could make a proper profit, otherwise it makes no sense to actually hold things that will never recover and only go down.

You're supposed to regret it because you have only invested small while you sold on the right time. You even made 4x but imagine if you invested heavily on that coin, you might be a millionaire now or close to it at least. Investing small amounts on shitcoin is only recommended if you are not good at it.

All cryptos are down, not only shitcoins but when the market recovers, most of the shitcoins will remain on their dump position but there might be a few that will rise like dogecoin and shiba inu. Shib was too young that time and no one knows that it will survived and became stronger, so what you did of selling it early is still a good decision.

sometimes to gain huge profits we should speculate on shitcoin which most investors under estimate and prefer to avoid it. when it pumped, return could more than 10x even could touch 50x or 100x. speculation in shitcoin was needed to drive our balance growth.

In general it is necessary, but not forever, because the pump on shitcoin doesn't happen for the long term so choosing it for a while and hoping for a good pump on it isn't wrong, as long as it can be profitable as expected, but if it's for good I think choosing shitcoin is a bigger risk.

We do have different takings on dealing with coins in the market and knowing a project potential is something always a big question whether we do end up on having a profit or would really be having lots

well, that's how it is if we hold shitcoin. it's like we managed to sell it at the right time or not. because, as far as my experience is concerned, once shitcoin has fallen, the price will be very difficult to rise. In fact, I still have some shitcoins in my wallet at the moment. They really can't be expected, the biggest mistake I and other traders make is buying shitcoin in the hope that it will increase and provide many times the profit, reality is very difficult to be real.  For me Shitcoin will always be a shitcoin, will never turn into a gem even though the price of bitcoin is going up.

Not holding any of them, took profits while I can because I fully understand the law of crypto investment, everything is based on momentum and time, once the hype are turned off the price will start collapsing, look at the market structure, it's not doubt that another bad bear season is just starting.

Sometimes bear season is also needed by some people because they basically also like to buy at a low price so they can target more profits when the bear season is over.
So don't just pay attention to the market but don't act at all because acting is a very necessary thing to make a profit, because profit doesn't come by itself.

I prefer to avoid Shitcoin because the risk of loss is very large, the percentage of someone who can take advantage of Shitcoin is very small, maybe there are only a few and I think it's because of the luck factor too.

I haven't been familiar with cryptocurrencies for a long time, airdrop projects and the bounty program, so I don't have a lot of shitcoins in my wallet. when I was new to crypto, the shitcoin I bought was a new token that was listed on pancakeswap, on average it has become a dead token and cannot be traded at all. Until now I regret buying shitcoin which is listed on pancakeswap, it's better at that time I just buy bitcoin only.

I have a few shitcoins from time doing bounties and airdrops. Most just drop the price instantly so I don't even bother to swap them because of fees and such. A few of us see holding or investing in shitcoins as a gamble so they really don't care about the price if it keeps going lower or has little change if Bitcoin surges or dips. Only when shitcoins hit XX% gains then they start to pay attention to it and cash out.

They are one of the worst coin one should hold for long run and they always start with higher price and then dropped to -10x, as holder you might get weird about the dip or any movement which affects Bitcoins. OP already know this fact, that is why he is asking everyone if how are their shitcoins. You know some of us here still invest in shitcoins even just a little bit to think they can get lucky and earn some fortune with it and there are some that gets their shitcoins for free thru bounty and airdrops but taking shitcoins seriously is a risky thing to do as chances of losing big is inevitable.

There might be some shitcoins that shows a sign of life after some time but most of them don't stay for too long. Buying a lot of shitcoins is just a waste of money and too risky too,

Of course, top coins are the most recommended coins for a long-term investment. I assume no one wants to buy shitcoins for their investment, in most cases people only buy shitcoins with a small amount of money. People buy shitcoins for speculation only, they know the risk of holding them higher than top coins. The priority of the long-term investment should be top coins, they have been proven for many years and they are listed in many exchanges.

Holding shitcoins from airdrops or from bounty campaigns I think also a gamble worth trying as it hardly affects our main investments, those shitcoins will probably become worthless but can add up to several hundred times for us. But if we spend to hold shitcoins tbh it is pointless waste because the risk is too great compared to the reward it gives us.

Even though shitcoins from airdrops or bounties are not all worth holding on to in the long term, it is better to sell them while the shitcoins still have a selling price on the exchange, because the risk of decline is higher than some coins that have the potential to be valuable in the future.

I have load of shitcoins too but they are still the top of the rank which are also staked. I'm still going to keep holding on to while I'm still  profiting from it.

That's true because basically Shitcoin is not to be maintained in the long term so selling it faster is a very good solution in my opinion because as long as the value is still there and the demand is still there, it won't hurt to release it as soon as possible.

I've personally never held on to shitcoins too long, so most of my shitcoins have switched to just ETH or bsc. although there are some shitcoins that I have sold, after that they went up more than x 10 , but not worth the risk if it went down too deep then it would not be possible to return to ATH.

I think no have hold any shitcoins in my wallet because now i am evaluating the new project more so i want to stay away from shitcoins. Bounties, like the one from CNDLchain dot com (and others listed on this forum) are great ways to make extra cash IMO. This is especially true if you don't have money to invest but do have some extra free time. Who knows, it may eventually end up in a full time crypto job. How cool is that?!

As the name suggests, it worth literally nothing. Most of the shitcoins I got are from scam projects from lot of signature campaigns I have joined in the past, so having shitcoins in my wallet is my daily routine I would say. But still, if we are talking about shitcoins in the market right now. I don't want to take a risk on that.

We have certainly all been through this, I missed the opportunity to sell my coins thinking they would rise again, and now I am holding useless coins from 2018. Since then, I have realized that bitcoin is safer and more profitable than any other coin.
This is a lesson that I want newbies to know but it seems like they are like us before, trying to find a coin that can give high returns in a short time. They will soon learn the truth after having experiences like ours.

I am the same as you, most of the shitcoins in my wallet are obtained from bounty campaigns. Which my shitcoins cannot be sold and seems to be
stuck in my personal wallet. I think the risk of participating in bounty campaigns is that we often get shitcoins as rewards. So like you said
eventually having shitcoins became commonplace, it doesn't really matter if we get shitcoins from bounty campaigns, faucets or airdrops.
The most important thing is that we never spend money to buy shitcoins, because buying shitcoins has a very high risk, meaning that
the possibility of us making a profit from shitcoins is very small. If there are influencers who promote shitcoins, don't be easily tempted and
buy shitcoins. Because it is possible that we can lose money when investing in shitcoins is very large, that's because many shitcoins end up as scams.

Haha my shitcoins from 2017 are dead or nearly dead, they did not even get much boost in the last BTC ATH,,, even poor Monero and Litecoin briefly made ATH but nowhere as exciting as Bitcoin.

Lesson for future always always shitcoins is pure speculation (but LTC and XMR are real ones of course).

I saw everyone around me get rich and I stayed poor because I went all in on XRP. I'm still holding my XRP but I have been doing airdrops and bounties, like the ones from CNDL chain and Metamask. Are there any other good ones going on right now?

meaning you have shitcoins on hold? there is nothing why we need to buy more shitcoin when all we need to do is join bounties and airdrops to accumulate shitcoins and spend no single amount for those.
I also believe that all we have to find is a potentially currency and projects than these kind of nonsense coins.

I mean, where do I even sell it when most of the shitcoins on those campaigns don't even have exchanges to even trade at? That's why most of the shitcoins in my wallet stuck there forever, even if they have one it worth nothing and even the transaction fees were bigger than the amount of rewards I got.

These days, they act like they are a legit project but in the end it ends up like anything else becoming scammy projects.

I believe that most shitcoins in our wallets are the coins we got from bounties or airdrops. It is very unlikely that we intentionally buy shitcoins for investment, especially long-term investments. It will never be a good idea to spend money just to buy shitcoins. If I could only delete or send them to random wallets, then I'll do it because they're just filling out my wallet. There were lots of projects that failed before resulting in multiple shitcoins stocked all over our wallets.

Some of them are just so bad that the project team doesn't even budge to list their own coins into an exchange or didn't put a liquidity to make it tradable. Some of them are just not worth it to sell because the fee and gas is much more higher compared to the shitcoins value. This is why we all still have those old shitcoins in our wallets.

If you have a wallet full of shitcoins, you should be aware of two things before selling them:
1. In a bullrun, most projects will pump, regardless of utility, so you should wait for a sustained bull market before selling.
2. Some tokens are malicious and can drain your wallet. If the contract is not verified on coingecko, don't trade it.

What am I investing in now? I'm buying projects that are launching during this new bull market, like Lamina1 and MAXX Finance. This way they don't have any bag holders from the bear market selling to break even - no downward price pressure.

[/quote]actually this did not happen to old wallets and to shitcoins only but also happened to the wallets and altcoins that we have today, as a bounty hunter like me, so many shitcoins and trash altcoins have piled up in the wallet because they have no value and because the price is too low. so we can't do anything
but basically altcoins are more promising as long as the project is still being developed by developers whose prices can change at any time while shitcoins will forever be trash and be abandoned by developers
