Hi everyone,

I'm new to crypto investments and I need your help.

I have IDeX tokens on my trustwallet I would like to convert to other currency or stablecoin but I don't find any way to do it. Basically if I I go to the swap section, IDeX is not an option.
Anybody can help me?

This thread is the wrong for this discussion and might need to be moved. You need to be sure it is IDEX token, if you own the wallet there is a way it gets there, find out how to send to an exchange wallet, I mean the exchanges that trade the coin. As a beginner, you might need to know that the wallet will still need transaction fee to send there. read it up or watch few videos in that regard

If you meant about idex token  on BSC and it seems like that you have not yet adding custom token in your swap section. You can try to add through use this link https://bscscan.com/token/0x0856978f7ffff0a2471b4520e3521c4b3343e36f

if you meant about idex token that issued by idex exchange site and you will able to swap it but if that was different token and you may need to add it manually. Just visit your address through BSC scan or Ether scan if this was ERC20 asset and then try to click in your token and you will be seeing the information about your token. it will appear and you can copy the contract address and then add it in your swap section.

It's on Binance and many other exchanges so you can choose which is convenient to you and which exchange has the lesser fee for you.

you just have to send it to an exchange in a country that supports it, if in Indonesia you just send it to Tokocrypto for example and you send it.
first from your trustwallet open the coin look for the word send
open an exchange from your country that supports search for the coin then look for the word "receipt"
then exit the wallet address to receive
enter the wallet into your coin trust wallet after you send it then you convert it to your currency.

IDEX tokens are already listed on many exchanges now and also have many pairs in each exchange, but I can only help you by adding exchange links that are already available in coinmarketcap, because if I mention one by one it will be very much

IDEX is tradable on Binance, you need to send your IDEX from Trustwallet to Binance
Btw if your IDEX is only small ammount, i think you need to forget it, because fee for send every ERC20 token is very high

I do think that his Idex token is from an airdrop the same with mine years ago when I'm active trading on IDEX. I don't know what's the reason why it suddenly pop-up on my Trustwallet but it's just too small of a value to trade. Sending ERC-20 tokens now on exchanges is not advisable as the fee is insane for sending a few tokens.

I just leave on my wallet hoping that these 50 Idex tokens will be worth a hundred thousand USD someday.

You can go to the biggest stock market in the Binance world. Binance is a very practical exchange where you can buy or sell a lot of crypto.
Or you can also with Okex. Okex is an exchange with a large number of options and also very widely used among crypto traders. By depositing money to your exchange account, you can immediately start buying Cryptos. It's very easy and can be done immediately. With a larger investment, it is necessary to verify your account, but this only applies from a certain amount.

You did not mention what kind of IDEX token you have is it an ERC20 or BEP20, if it is an ERC20 I think you can trade it on many exchanges including Binance, and if it is a BEP20 token just check on Pancakeswap if it was listed because its an old token but in Trust wallet itself I don't see any option there to trade via the App so you better send it to Binance and there you can trade.

Go to CGK or CMC to see where it's trading :( And also check which IDEX token standard platform you are using, I'm not sure if on trustwallet it's erc20 or bsc , also If you still don't know how to sell it, contact me.

As the others said you could go to market cap sites such as coingecko or coinmarketcap to see which exchange platforms that provide trades of idex tokens. On the other side, since you claimed as a newbie might I know from where you got those tokens? Who knows its a trap in case those tokens appeared in your wallet out of nowhere

First of all, you need eth in the address in which you hold Idex token to cover the gaz fee as you have to move the tokens to an exchange to proceed for swap.
Second, it's up to you to choose which kind of exchange you want to use which would also depends on the amount of token you hold and the tokens you are willing to purchase. Some exchanges may have TOS that may not fit your needs (KYC,high fees,...) then better to do your own researches before using anyone with real money.
Third, if you don't own a considerable amount of money (Idex token) then you will waste your time for almost nothing (network/exchange fees are so high).

Have you try to check or use the coinmarketcap to find in which exchange that Idex token listed?
According to my idea and knowledge about this matter, you can find a way to convert your idex token through
CMC or coingecko, you have a lot of options actually, you just don't use google search that is why its hard for
you to find it.

IDEX used to be a real big deal but they decided to require KYC and they only included a few tokens to trade on their exchange while anyone could trade any token on Uniswap and other DEXs, that's why it failed big time. I suggest selling IDEX token for CAKE, REF, or BOO and using an AMM like REF, Pancake or Spooky that offers farming rewards.

To convert one currency to another you are to use exchanges. IDeX tokens can be exchanged on Binance, Hotbit, Uniswap, 1inch. There are pairs IDEX-USDT, IDEX-ETH, IDEX-BUSD, IDEX-BTC, so choose whatever you want. You should just connect your wallet to one of this exchange and you will be able to convert, but don't forget that you need coins to run a transaction (ETH if you work on ethereum mainnet for instance).

Idex token listed many exchanges even though you can sell in the several top reputed exchanges, You can go Binance or Gateio here you can sell it such pairs (Idex/USDT),(Idex/BTC),(Idex/BUSD), Also you can SWAP (Idex/WETH) on UniSwap. But in the CEX you can convert with low fees i mean instead of higher fees an UniSwap.

IDEX is also a coin that has been in the crypto space for a very long time so there is no need to be confused about finding an exchange, because there have been so many since IDEX became a cryptocurrency and was popular at that time, so it's very clear that the OP doesn't need to be confused about this.

you can visit coinmarketcap and write idex coin in search. There are many markets for idex coins and you can choose one. I suggest you stay on Binance and don't go to Uniswap because the fees are huge

But i don’t know right now who guys want to buy/sell crypto to using IDEX exchange because i think it’s a dead exchange as far as it’s trading volume and considering it’s users. It’s failed in competition with others so many new DEX's. Even i see only few tokens listed in the IDEX, it was very popular if i will go back in 2017.
