Greetings,
as a long term freebitco.in user I noticed yesterday that it doesn't have the option to claim Reward Points bonuses anymore. Can anyone else confirm this?
Will they be back?

I really enjoyed those bonuses because by claiming above 12 times per day every hour you paid of the bonus AND add another 100rp on top every next hourly claim! I collected the surplus unitil I could activate BTC Bonuses to get better claims. Taking away the RP bonuses will really hurt my claimed amounts by A LOT! :(

#1: As it was said down below the Wheel Of Fortune Bonuses were added instead. I just bought the 5xWOF bonus and as it turned out I got WAY more out of this than I could with simple RP bonuses! Definitely WORTH IT!
Also indeed the RP price for Hourly Claim Bonuses went down SIGNIFICANTLY! So overall I was very wrong about it being non-beneficial for me! I take my words back! :)

looks like you are not the only one. I haven't use freebitco.in in a while so I don't really know what you are talking about but looking at their ANN thread it seems that another user also said that on freebitco.in ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.8280). you could ask their support whether it was just a bug or it is a permanent update.

I guess they changed into WHEEL OF FORTUNE BONUS in the bottom of the Reward section on your account because I tried to check it on my account, I do not see the RP bonuses as before. Besides that, they give another thing which is FUN TOKENS BONUS in the listed so you can get more FUN tokens in your account. I think that will not be a problem, but yes, getting more RP as bonuses will benefit us, but maybe that is their new policy in the Reward section to their members.

You're not the only one, there are some comments on their fb page about this even on their ann that was mentioned above, which is good to assume that they already stopped giving RP, not unless it's a bug on their side.

With the Wheel of Fortune free spins too many people were certainly able to reach the 100 000 Reward Points threshold without gambling anything, then it wasn't sustainable anymore for the faucet. Increasing this threshold or decreasing the number of RPs given for free could have been another solution but they obviously chose another alternative.

They did stop it but did a much better change for me.They gave you WOF free spins in every spin for 24 hours instead of them which for me it is much better.You can of course get RP from the WOF spins,another better change was the 1000% BTC bonus now only costing 658 RP from 3200 RP it costed before.

You are not the first to complain about the bonus RP provided by FreeBitco.in.

I certainly haven't seen the reason directly from FreeBitco.in, the cause of the loss of the RP bonus, the assumption that lately many gambling sites have sprung up with various bonus offers, maybe FreeBitco.in has another way to attract newcomers to their site that is better than RP, that's my thought, who obviously wants to know more from FreeBitco.in, the reason for removing the bonus.

It's only natural that they stop paying RP because we all know that freebitco.in has been around for a long time and has been very persistent since its inception until now it has issued a lot of very large prizes. Even I have stopped since 2019 and no longer follow the updates that occur. The meager income and the high level of users make it clear that they may be having a hard time paying at the moment.

As you say it is one of their better features given that the BTC claim is now just a few satoshi for the normal prize. And it's probably costing them a lot compared to the ad revenue that it is generating.

If you want to create income in crypto, freebitco.in is definitely not the way to spend your time though. I would only play on their site for fun.

^ I have doubt that there could be a disadvantage to them if they will continue the free giving RP or it could be a conflict to the other promos that is why they decided to stop it. I think there is no reason we complain about this, we should be thankful that freebitco.in is so generous enough to give a lot of promotions. For sure there is a better bonus will offer since they stopped giving RP.
Nevertheless, instead of making another thread, probably it is a good idea if you reach them out regarding this on their ANN thread.

If you often follow the discussion in the official freebitcoin thread then you will find that a lot of abuse is done to reach 100K RP by using bots. But the changes they make are still interesting, the free btc bonus now only requires a lower RP than usual, you can choose WoF or FUN Tokens substitute of RP Bonus, but if you are a member who gamble more often than spin a free rolls, then this change will not affect your desire to play right?

Maybe they want to give something different than before so they delete the free giving RP to members. As an old gambling site with a reputation, freebitco.in always trying to serve its members well so we are still staying and playing on there. Maybe later, I will check on their ANN to know what is happening on that site but I am sure everything is okay and maybe they will surprise us.

Freebitco has been around for a while and has introduced various bonus systems in the past so if the RP bonus is taken away what that means is that it got replaced by a new bonus system or plans for a new bonus system underway, You can post your questions on the ANN thread their admin will respond to you there.

After seeing your post, i also checked my freebitco.in account and did not find rewards point either. They may have temporary or permanent removed this feature. Regular users of freebitco.in might be be able to tell you better.
However, if you do not get RP bouns, it should not affect you much, as this amount is not very high.
 

Reading this thread's title, I thought that Freebit stops giving 2 RP after each free roll. Well, they still give me +2 RP, but yeah I cannot redeem it for RP Boost as there's no longer option for that. It's not a big deal and I prefer WOF bonus or FUN token bonus anyway.

How could you prefer the FUN token bonus? Did you make the calculations? After 12 rolls in a day you were winning 100sats for each more roll(ie 100RP by roll), with the FUN token bonus you need to make 18 rolls in a day at least to win something, otherwise it's more profitable to directly buy the FUN tokens.

I think being a gambler like mu_enrico and I am we very much prefer more the WoF spins as it gives you the adrenaline when you usually hit the spin button in slot machines.Here it is not much different,we hit the spin button expecting to win one of those high prizes like Amazon gift card,Iphone or that shiny Rolex out there.No one yet has won one of such prizes but as they say,hope dies last.

It is natural that there is abuse of Btc Bonus claims made to take advantage of actions that are detrimental to Freebitco.in. They've been in operation for too long, but it's amazing to have survived this second. Because back then we could easily claim some Satoshi. Now it's natural to no longer give rewards, considering the difficulties obtained from mining results, freebitco.in should be even stricter with those who abuse the site for abundant profits.

Yeah, every reward points/perks/bonus either crypto or non-crypto is subject for abuse as long it's easy to earn and done. And as a business securing their funds can be used on other promotions/rewards.
Despite of running freebitco.in in a very long time and already built trusts they still offer such rewards which is a bit unexpected for them but it just show they care and is really for customer service.

^ I did not hear there someone who abused their faucet and I think that small amount they give won't be worth it to abuse and yes, besides we should just be thankful at least they are still generous giving a tiny sats per hour in your account. I even heard before there was someone who used an auto bot to collect the faucet. That is also abuse that wants to take advantage of casinos just to have their own benefits. Nevertheless, this is just natural because there are those who are greed.

They closed the site because there to much abuse, that's one of the reasons they closed the site because too many users abused the platform and keep the freebitco running. Since freebitco is the most popular website, even new user on crypto the first they they know about crypto will visit freebitco since the name + domain.

I have known/see lots of users who use multiple accounts just to earn their faucets on one of the local forum websites I have joined and it's really a thing, even  their referral program as well.

I can agree with this, freebitco I believe is the first gambling site that I've known before the casinos here found in the forum. But wondering why freebitco can't prevent those abusers? They should have some type of restrictions or security level that can detect multiple abusers. I'm not expert on this but I think there's a tool on this. Anyway, let us just appreciate what freebitco is providing to the community, they reduced the mount of RP that you can use to redeem free btc bonus. Also, they have now fun token bonus as well as WOF bonus. So not bad in my opinion.

^ Is this kind of activity was not filtered by Freebitco.in? I mean, there should be a tool for this to determine who abuse and uses different accounts and I think transferring funds to other accounts will probably be suspicious too as an abusing the site. Probably this was the reason why they stopped giving RP bonuses and instead, they diverted to other bonuses that can be abused. Not bad at all, it seems it is a wise decision.

There are lots of aspects they will consider to detect multiple accounts with the same owner, not just the same ip address, device and etc. If there's an existing reliable tool for this then they should be using it by now.

Perhaps the bonus system has changed why not try contacting the team to know exactly what happened or you can as well ask your questions in their main thread.
I just tried it out and the bonus claiming option is off without any new bonus system in place I have written support waiting for their response.

even when there is  wheel of fortune still the RP bonus has different way to earn , so i do'nt think that it is the change .

You're right If look at the sats they provide, it seems impossible for anyone want to take advantage of it by doing a multiplie account, for example they have 10 accounts in a day can do 12x freerolls with sats at this time they only get 360 sats total from all accounts and it takes a long time to able withdrawal because the min withdrawal on FB is 30,000 sats. But they are also eyeing the RP Bonus with their bots being able to claim more than 12x as a condition to get BEP. 1RP has same value with 1 sats this is what the greedy members target.

Yes they have already mentioned in in their thread that they will no give the WoF spins instead of the RP bonus and I think that's actually a boon than a bane.
With the extra WoF spins we get the chance to win higher RP than we could have got from the RP bonus.
So I don't think there would be anyone complaining about it. Even I wanted to try this WoF bonus but was waiting for a weekend to utilize it to the fullest  :P

That's so sad to hear but Bot and abusers making this difficult to continue , Hope that Bot detection and banning will take place effectively so the Honest Users will still benefits from this Bonus system.

I agree, and that will make freebitco.in ongoing a trust. However, bot detection must be as effective as possible so that abuse can be avoided.
For a while I also couldn't tap the roll and until now for some reason the support has not replied. I hope this can be resolved soon.

3 months are quite far and I don't think there's someone who can survive collecting that faucet per day just to abuse the site. Not unless if there's someone willing to waste their time for 3 months just for $50. Lol.

I have been visiting my account recently and I have found that there's still RP was given.
