I've recently purchased a 1 LTC Lealana coin from someone directly online but it came without the public key/address. I've contacted the seller but he said he bought the coin from someone else which came without the key. All I've got are the first 8 characters (firstbits) of the address located on the hologram on the back of the coin. Tried looking that up on the full list of LTC addresses available on the Lealana site without any luck whatsoever.

If my eyes don't fail me, the characters are: LSukNt2P

It looks like your coin is not loaded. It is a buyer funded coin. The purchaser would have received the full address when bought from Smoothie or Lealana

 If you dont have the addy from Smoothie you should try and reach out to Smoothie or the person you bought the coin from

Everybody says to reach out to smoothie but I had a buyer funded roll that he couldn't or wouldn't give me the addresses for.

  Yeah sorry to hear that...when I bought directly from him back in 2017 he gave me a list of all my unfunded coins.

  It cant hurt to try as he was around not too long ago after a very lengthy absence

He’s made it clear he has no intention on helping anyone with anything after the fact anymore. I shot this thread to Charlie, curious if he knows how to get the full addy somehow ?

Edit: Charlie said no way to find addy. I figured maybe he knew something we maybe didn’t (or at least myself, as I suck at this stuff).

   The only way you would be able to find an address is if the coin was loaded...it would then show on the Litecoin Blockchain. Other than that it is not possible.

Only way is from the original buyer.  Smoothie sent the full addys in a pm (if bought here)if not you are screwgied.  Not the best business practice considering everyone here made him a boatload but is what it is.  I don't know of any other way to get the full addys from the first bits if they weren't funded from the get go.

Thanks everyone for your input. The seller of the coin doesn't have the public addess so my I'm hoping smoothie would give me a solution to my problem. Sent him a message yesterday directly over email and PM so it should only be a matter of time before I get a response. If I have no luck, then I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask for a refund from the seller.  :-\

Just get a refund - Smoothie will not give you any info - He's a very staunch privacy advocate.  :P

The seller sent me another coin with its corresponding address, so all of my problems are solved. I'd like to thank everyone for their help. It's much appreciated.  :)
