It has been a challenging threat on how to pause and cancel an ethereum pending transaction while experts has deem fit to looking further into providing a guide on how to achieve this, it is also believed that many find it difficult atimes in performing basic ethereum transactions due to service challenges or misappropriation of data, this thread provided is a link to learning more aboutHow to modify or cancel a pending Ethereum transaction (https://cointelegraph.com/news/how-to-modify-or-cancel-a-pending-ethereum-transaction?utm_source=thecryptoapp)

Pausing is an option but you still have to pay so if you're trying to pause a transaction, you'll just feel regret stopping it.

It's not difficult to perform an Ethereum transaction. The matter right now about Ethereum transactions are the fees and this what makes everyone hard to transact using it.

The transaction can only be cancelled and it can't be paused. It's not the same like the game coz the transaction was irreversible. Your transaction was only waiting for the block to be approved after it was approving all of priority transaction. I can't agree with the article that say the transaction can be paused because the fact says opposite thing. It can't be paused and that's permanent transaction. The only way to increase your gas through sending a new transaction and this will not make you pay the double fees. You will need only to pay the fees after your transaction already confirmed. You will pay for a single transaction and then rest will be aborted. that means it was getting cancelled and not paused. I guess that the article may say a non sense thing about that. I have been using ethereum since a few years ago. It's better to wait until your transaction gets confirmed.

I've experienced pending transactions for days, it's very annoying, can't send until the pending transaction is successful, finally I managed to find a way to solve it, namely by replacing the transaction via "send offline", the details are here: https:// kb.myetherwallet.com/en/transactions/checking-or-replacing-a-tx-after-sending/

I've also experienced pending transactions on the Ethereum network because I used low transaction fees, then the transaction fees increased so transactions were pending for a few days. As a suggestion, even though the transaction fees in Ethereum are high, it is better to avoid using low transaction fees / low Gwei because there is a risk of pending / failed transactions. it is better to wait for light transaction fees or use average or high fees. Because to cancel or increase your transaction requires high transaction fees.

This is a good article. Even with such tutorial, people are having a hard time on dealing with ethereum network. Its not that eth network isnt hard to use but like others said, the problem lies on the transaction fees. Its quite huge and burning some eth through fees is likely only will take advantage by the miners. Well their lucky for mining eth if thats the case.

However for retailer traders this is really a bad ecosystem for now to start their journey.

I experienced pending eth transactions many times like last year, where I mostly use Uniswap for trading. Replacing transactions with much higher fees today can cost you really high because of very annoying gas fees and its changes every seconds, I don't know if it can be manipulated by miners but after eip1559  eth fees got doubled or sometimes 10x higher compared before activating eip1559, causing too many pending transactions. The worst part is if you did not replace your txn, it might got failed and you just paid for nothing and burned.
