The best strategy when it comes to trading is finding a mix of others that you can make your own and adapting it.

If you don't have the time or effort for that, your best stragety might be deciding simple buy and sell conditions based on what you think should work (for example, dollar cost averaging).

Volatility can help and hinder with trading too. You don't want to go too far down if you get a few losses in a row. Generally don't trade with more than 1-10% of your portfolio (once you feel experienced and have a profitible strategy) and don't also want to make yourself lose a lot in a day - you might want to take the day off if you lose a trade for example or distract yourself for a few hours.

yes I use technical analysis to take transactions. for me there is no best strategy, depending on which strategy we are comfortable using, I think indicators can help us to get signals, but also everyone is different in the comfort of which indicators to use, and of course we must be able to know how to use indicators correctly

What do you expect from that? I mean, you can use any analysis you want based on what you learn but we use a different strategy in the analysis. I use not a too complicated strategy to trade means, I buy a coin when the price is down or the big red candle is at the market and I decide to buy for $10-$50. If the price does not increase, I will not have a problem holding for more until the price increase. I am not in a hurry to sell the coin, especially if there are no fast-moving of price.

That will work for bitcoin. If you buy bitcoin when the price is down, that will be a good decision because the price will go up later, no matter if that needs a week or so to increase. But if you do day trader, that will require more things to analyze because you need to find a good time to buy and sell and maybe, you should do in fast buy and sell to make a profit.

BTC is volatile since the beginning of it. Investors are just holding BTC because of its volatility, they still profit from it by just holding.

The best strategy so far that I do is just buying at the bottom and selling on the ATH. Technical Analysis for this strategy doesn't need a lot of indicators but just RSI. Not the best strategy for some especially for the guys who always want to watch the price in the daily chart but it's effective for patient traders.

If you do not use technical analysis for day trading, that means you are not trading, you are gambling. Gambling while trading will surely lead to significant losses.

If yes, what are the best strategies? Bitcoin is so volatile now.
You will have to use low amount of money, do not use fundamental analysis to joke also, check the candle sticks always and set it to 15, 30 minutes and 1 hours, check for when the market decrease significantly and buy or when the market increase significantly and sell but be careful because that does not mean you can not still lose.

Honestly, i have traded for long and I have tried learning TAs to do my trades. it looks like I am not getting the best out of it. i have tried copy trading. it was successful for a while but I can't stand the fees so I have to pull out. i now follow chats shared by professional traders and it has been wonderful for me. i think I better stick with that one. maybe I will also learn from it.

If you're trading you're naturally going to use TA's. It's your bread and butter imo, though it would require you to study a lot if you actually want to continue since you'd have to mix and match a lot of stuff so that it could fit your trading strategy. Just keep testing honestly, there's no single best strategy cause if there was, do you honestly think people wouldn't have used it now? or would it actually have stayed hidden for long? Plus, volatility shouldn't be an issue since it always has been there. It's not going to go away even if you have the best TA in the world.

I don't use analysis. but i use strategy.
There are three trading strategies that I use.
The first method that is generally used by traders is to stick to the values that we set ourselves to get limited profits when the market is rising.
the second way is short-term trading, of course, monitoring price movements on the exchange at any time.
the third way is to invest in the long term, ie within one month without paying attention to market movements.
Hope it is useful

No.

I've given up long time as a day trader. I still have another strategy and that is to just sell when I'm up for the profits and that's so very usual and easy strategy.

Bitcoin is so volatile now.
Not only now but always.

If you are a trader and your strategy isn't working anymore to pick profit for you what you can do is to cut down on how many trades you go for and that has a lot to do with controlling your emotions. Your emotions has to be on check for you not to jump into every market that looks like opportunity. A volatile market means it has taken a trend and if you enter an order against the trend after few minutes you start recording losses. Be watchful about that, the trend and continuously use stoploss.

of course it's required, and for your information not just on bitcoin wherein its a must everytime before you place an order just to assure everything will going well afterwards and you can get profits from it instead of losing money.. Because without such ways probably you will end up losses always.. By the way if you don't know how to do it i suggest to make research or go to YouTube for step by step tutorial, maybe its good idea so that you can obtain easily some specific information especially how does it works and very useful to avoid doing mistake in trading.. Just invest time for it before anything else..  ;)

No strategy is perfect even if you are using state-of-the-art trading tools especially for technical analysis. However, they are still very useful for you to at least know where might the price go in the future. Personally I am using Newscrypto in doing technical analysis for trading BTC and other cryptocurrencies with the Moonlines tool and it’s free to use and a time saver as well.

But the mostly used tool right now is Tradingview and it’s free to use as well. But yet again, these are just tools for you to improve your trading decisions but no guarantees or promises when it comes to price movement as anything can happen and may let you expect the unexpected.

Relative strength Index (RSI) is one of the commonly used indicator when it comes to day trading Technical Analysis this may give an oversight about how the market condition is there is there is a simple thumb rule exist which is when the value is higher the price is about to drop or the upside down when it close to least.

I didn't use Bitcoin as trading or let say a day trading, I used it as a valuable asset and trade to fiat when there's my profit already.

But yes, there's nothing wrong if you will use technical analysis in trading Bitcoin as your preference.  However, if you're a long-time holder technical analysis isn't necessary because it is based on fundamental analyses that are monitoring some trending news on Bitcoin that could affect the price quickly on the market.

If you mean trading on Bitcoin and Altcoins on the crypto exchange platform, technical and along fundamental analysis are much more important.
Both are very important to have at least a reference on how to predict the market price.

I do and with the help of other different indicators but most likely focused on the volume, RSI and sometimes on Fibonacci tools. I don't think there's best of strategies out there, I mean who can even find one? I think when it has been traded on the general public it has been that volatile.

That is one of the most well-known indicators, and it is most likely widely used, but people combine it with other indicators to create their own strategy. Well, this is a hotly debated topic because not everyone wants indicators, and some traders only want naked trading. There are also traders who want almost all of the indicators on the chart. There are also gifted individuals who create their own indicators and strategies, which I have mostly used in bitcoin but not in other cryptos due to BTC's high volatility. It's just a straightforward trend-following strategy.

Yes, ive been using technical strategies on the time i had stepped my foot on this market because you cant really just make out decisions whenever there's a news and we know that not most of the time
we've been dealing with news or events in the market which means it is just sensible that you do make use of another analysis just like on TA's.

Common Indicators ive been using.

1. Support and Resistance Line
2. EMA
2. RSI/MACD
4. Fibbonacci

These are the 4 indicators which somehow gives my some idea on where price could possible go but
you should mind off that it wasnt precise from time to time.

Yes, of course, and I think, majority of the traders use this. Some people don't find it useful as in their minds that it won't give 100% assurance but at least we got some hints to where the market trend goes. And besides, this is not the only thing we use to trade.

Can we trade not using it (TA)? YES, but you can see the big difference when you are using TA and the bigger chance that you will just lose than having a good trade. You can appreciate more about trading if you were able to know and use TA in your trades. It is not hard to learn this as long as you wanted to know and want to step up.

I will say for day traders you are correct, but some people because of fundamental analysis (what they heard on news) buy bitcoin or sell it and it goes in the direction predicted. Just like people that sold bitcoin during China crackdown on mining and people that bought bitcoin during ETF approval.

there is a lot of strategy you can use there are some common strategies and you can make strategies on your own but not all strategies works every time since just like what you have said the Bitcoin is really volatile.
Yes but altcoins are more volatile and have more risks than bitcoin, best to use bitcoin. The strategy someone use might go otherwise at times, but it should just be at times, someone's strategy should favor 9 or more trades out of 10.

For an active trader, high volatile nature is the most preferred one; you will come to know about it when you develop your own strategies. Almost all the trades must be making use of technical analysis because you cannot handle the volatility without it. So, start learning it as soon as you realize its importance and if you are preferring to pursuit a career with crypto trading.

You can make use of this forum on what you need to do and what you need to avoid while you are into preparation phase of learning. After that, you must keep learning and then should practice on real environment side by side to make sure that you are not just into only theoretical but also into real market exposure.

Someone who is a trader would have to know and understand both technical and fundamental analysis (especially technical analysis) to have a better chance at succeeding as a trader. When you look at a coin from both sides you will be able to know when to trade and whether you’re going to make profit from trading it at that moment.

And there is no one reliable strategy, you have to know the right strategy to make use of and at the right time. Your strategy is something that you will have to keep changing constantly. If there is only one strategy that works, then everyone would know that by now and keep relying on it, but there is nothing as such, you have to work hard.

There are many different strategies that can be used. The most important thing is to do capital management, risk management and good psychological management. Technical analysis is the main reference for trading and is supported by some management that must be done.

MACH, MA and RSI are the three major indicators I used to aid my trading, I picked candlestick patterns as my main TA with those three indicators  serving as a guide, however my main TA involve how those candlesticks are formed after the close of each candle  which determine whether I am going to short or long. The importance of TA in trading cannot be ignored because once a trader get accustom to it such a trader will always make profits in trading,

Well, yes of course, I use Technical Analysis. To say the truth, I’m a lot busy by onother work and don’t keep a close eye on everyday changes in cryptomarket. So when I occasionally want to trade I carefully examine the market all ups and downs on 15 min/1 hour/ 4 hours/day graphics, sometimes I look what happened several years ago in similar situations. I also have friends that are more advanced traders, so when I doubt, I ask their opinion. But I definitely understand that everything I do is by my own decision and all successes as well as errors and omissions are mine. BTC is always very volatile, so no one can tell you for sure what order to put.

Not only for you but for most of us because trading having no these kind of technical indicators is really hard.Market is unpredictable and there's no way that you could progress or make profits on your own or without

any basis which its really just sensible that you would really be having some sort of tools or indicators so that you could able to at least handle up yourself towards this market.
Just like what others been said that going into the market without any preparation is something that you are just simply burning your capital or money,.

I do, then I ignore them. This may sound weird to some people, but I like to just do TA and see where things are going and then ignore them. It is quite great to do that because in the end I know what "it should" do thanks to TA but then I ignore it whenever I want to. This allows me to follow my gut while knowing the situation in the market.

Most often situation would be doing what I should do based on TA but there are times when I just do exactly the opposite of what TA says and I make a profit that way as well. I am not saying that it will always be like that, I lose money in both methods, but the overall seems to be doing fine for now.

It is the way we are able to make trading more profitable as it helps to make decisions out of this highly volatile market. Many people never appreciate this thing as they never understand and try it in real life. But of course, we can't just rely fully on TA, it must be accompanied by our strategies and mindset.

Quote
If yes, what are the best strategies? Bitcoin is so volatile now.
-you must have to trust the market
-try to analyze the chart
-take advantage of every correction
-Don't get frustrated when you lose but instead, accept it and have to prove to yourself that you can do it.

If you wont use technical indicators and if you wont use news or fundamentals then what thing you would gonna make use? You cant really just make out trades without
any basis or input on what you should gonna do with your current decision because if you do just randomly make out some position without any basis then you are just
simply doing gambling which it isnt really that suggested when it comes to trading investment or activity. Of course technical analysis is a must thing to know

It helps to judge the trend of market before any price movement. Technical analysis help a trader before taking any trade. It tells that the market is in over bought conditon or in over sold condition. In one condition we have to sell the coins and in other we have to buy coins.

I don't just think but for sure traders had been doing this otherwise, you just making a wild guess. I must use technical analysis when trading. Technical analysis is done individually. Many times everyone's analysis is not the same. I usually try to determine the position of the indicator and keep an eye on what kind of news is going on in the market. I do my own analysis on the combination of indicators and news.

That is the basic psychology of every learner. If you are ambitious and looking for making use of all the available opportunity then you will definitely go for enjoying your learning process. Just self-motivating ourselves and dreaming about our big achievements will help us to enjoy our learning phase.

I usually try to determine the position of the indicator and keep an eye on what kind of news is going on in the market. I do my own analysis on the combination of indicators and news.
You sound like a professional trader; what are your success rate against your total number of trades, I am just curious to know that. Taking care of news in our trading will definitely have positive impact but for avoiding unnecessary complications, I simply avoid trading at new hours. Just skipping high volatile trading session helps me to protect my capital even I am not making any profits in those high fluctuations.

Yeah, in my opinion if you remove the technical analysis part from your trading then you are just gambling and your trading is no more a scientific approach driven one. So, profiting just 1 or 2 days and then losing all the capital could not be considered as a method to follow; only consistently profit making alone should be considered as an example.

I am into mid term trading and I am depending on my technical part for all my decisions. I have more than 80% hit ratio as I do simply stay away from market when my technical analysis is not getting me satisfying signals along with ongoing trend of market.

One thing I find interesting about TA is each and everyone will always have a different opinion regarding their findings on TA,
Few days back, I was in a telegram group chat where a guy claim that his TA indicates a dump on btc before the year end, he was so serious about his claim that I had to screenshot his post (waiting to see if his TA will be corrector not), while other TAs are bullish this guy is supper bearish,
TA is a good to tool for traders to use to make assumption of price to make a successful trade.

Every trader used technical analysis but do it really the reason that helps you earn profit? I'm not against technical analysis but sometimes, the market doesn't follow what can technical analysis predict so it was just a tool. Use it but don't treat or too much obsessed over it. Saw so many cases people really hell bent on their technical analysis only to get the wrong result.

I definitely do not use any TA right now because it is a bull run and in a bull run you do not even need a TA type of deal to make a profit because you are going to be making a profit anyway so why care something about what's going on in the crypto world and trading world when you could just hold and still make that type of profit anyway?

This is why I believe that there is a good case that you could be making a good profit anyway without caring about what type of situation you are in, just focus on doing something that would basically be holding and accumulating and you will be richer so there is no reason to do something like TA right now. I personally believe that TA is overcrowded and people are looking at it like it is a method that you could be making a guaranteed profit if you are great at TA but that doesn't mean that you would be making that profit at all.

Do you use technical analysis when you trade bitcoin?
But of course, what else would one be doing trading without Technical Analysis? How would one even be able to navigate the murky waters if not with the help of TA? Yes, to your question.

If yes, what are the best strategies?
There's no holy grail in trading. I rely on leading indicators as a major part of my TA, even while taking cognizance of the fact that the market (crypto market) is a highly speculative one and nothing is that certain.

Bitcoin is so volatile now.
This is even what makes Bitcoin enticing and exciting for traders. Once the market goes to sleep, a lot of traders don't like trading it. I believe the volatility is a plus for Bitcoin.

Volatility makes the world of traders more exciting. Although it may bring a negative thought when it comes to price fluctuations but for traders, its a big word that makes them trade every now and then.

I usually use technical analysis more than its fundamentals but the fact that this crypto market is so unpredictable due to its volatility, i end up using multiple strategies that will make me more profitable. But the best trading strategy i think that has less risk and what most of the traders are using is that buying from the dip, and selling in its peak. Even if you just sit the whole day waiting for the target price to reach, you will still make profits once the market price reaches its ATH.

Yes I use technical analysis but for now any strategy you deploy for the bullish run is relevant. No analysis is 100% accurate but the core concerntration is buying from each time a new support forms ensuring you time the breakout quite early take profit on the third candle while you wait for another breakout making your chat look too complicated now isn't relevant since the chat is on a bull run
right, none of the strategies achieve 100% accuracy. we must be able to respond to it in order to always survive in the market. therefore we must know how to use our strategy, so that when the market does not support us we do not force to enter the market or vice versa, because sometimes our psychology is disturbed
Versatility is very important in trading and that is why we don't have to stick to a single strategy, if it is a need to switch to others we leave no option but to do it ASAP. Having technical analysis is helping is to become well-prepared and can anticipate the incoming.
Anyways, we all have different strategies, the success of our trading journey is not all about Technical analysis but it matters a lot on how we respond to every situation we've faced.

TA is mandatory these days considering how bitcoin is working. Actually bitcoin is volatile that is the reason you should be using TA and Fundamental analysis in the first place. You will be able to judge the sure path of trade once you master in the same.

Honestly I never got the chance to do so. I am solely working with my friends to understand the bitcoins next move. Those who are expert in the field (mostly they do share market) but I take their help to predict the bitcoin movement. They use amazing theorems available in the TA methods which helps detect the bitcoin movement.

Since I’m not the direct user of the TA, but with what I saw can be done with TA you must learn if you gonna be full time trader.

Technical analysis should always be present if you are trading bitcoin. This will help you to come up with good indicators that will let you know how the market moves, identify the trends and create good predictions. Together with fundamental analysis, a bitcoin trader will develop good investment strategies so that trading will be more prone to success and create huge profits in the future. Without technical and fundamental analysis, i don't think how will a bitcoin trader be able to make profits due to its volatility.

Bitcoin is always volatile, I don't think I need an extra minded analyst to trade bitcoin. All I am doing is to make some research and do some price and market analysis myself, buy bitcoin, then when it's up and I am sure I am in profit, I then sell. I do so for bitcoin because of the trust and the volatility it has, if not some Altcoins need deep analysis before trading them.

TA will help you to increase your chance succeeding from this business, if you know how to calculate and you are good
in analysing the potential, Bitcoin's volatility provides good opportunities. If you understand the market well, TA can give you
good target to place your buy and sell orders.

Not easy but it's doable if you are really keen on mastering the system, this tool can establish good strategy when you deal
with your trading practices.

Well of course --yes!
Sometimes when you forecast and predict the market price you need a tool to use and I think a simple plotting a graph and drawing a chart and having a technical analysis has advantages. This strategy has no real or accurate result and you can't rely on this that will happen, because the fact is, bitcoin price prediction is unpredictable and no one knows about the market.

Every traders used technical analysis. No one can trade and profit without technical analysis. Even if you can do profit for 2/1 days without analysis. you will lose a lot later
Not everyone to be honest still there are many people trade without using technical indicators but based on the ither signals which also may work sometimes. But trading without making any analysis is just a form of gambling so it may give us profits depends on our luck meanwhile when we are in bull run just holding is better than anything.

Bitcoin is always volatile in my opinion, and even with the lowest volatile cryptocurrency, losing a trade can't be avoided because of the leverage you'll put or you didn't put stop loss. Now, technical analysis plays a huge role in Trading, it increases your chances of making profits every trade you make (of course if you've done the right TA). When it comes to strategies, indicators is needed to confirm the right time to buy and sell a trade.

Traders use their own indicators in where they are comfortable to use that makes their technical analysis easy and profitable. So you'll choose your own indicators, it's about trial and error.

Technical analysis is important in trading to understand market trends and future market movements. But sometimes the fundamental things are more effective for a particular time than the technical analysis for the market price movement. So in that case technical analysis may not give such effective results. I give equal importance to both technical analysis and fundamental analysis before opening a trade. Because you must give extra effort to get the expected result. And it seems to me that it will be difficult to get an idea about the next movement of Bitcoin now.

I like to suggest you to check 2 different technical strategies.

First one is moving average cross-over strategy:
https://www.fxempire.com/education/article/how-to-enhance-your-moving-average-crossover-strategy-271691

It has few disadvantages as well like you may not able to enter or exit at exact trend reversal level as it is a time lagging strategy hence longer time frame may help.

The second one is the pivot point analysis:
It will get you support and resistance levels and you may need to work out on when and where to buy/sell based on your observation as nothing permanent in the market.

Please check here:
https://www.investopedia.com/trading/using-pivot-points-for-predictions

Moreover, you may go trying combing these 2 strategies and may find your own way of developing stronger strategy.

One simple way you may do is, long term trading along with moving average cross over. Still, it needs lots of preparation and practices before you try on live market.

Trading maybe quite like gambling but the only difference is that trading secures profits most of the time while gambling is just pure on luck and if you're unlucky that time, you'll eventually end up in loss. However, trading may not be fully profitable if you don't have bases on your own and not just technical but also fundamental analysis can be of great help if you're aiming for a successful trading. And i think we all have different strategies that can be applied in trading and as for me, i'll still go with the common and basic. I find it still profitable with buying low and selling high, at least there's less risk and effortless and its really working on me.
The comparison of trading with gambling is happening for years across this forum and always people are having technical analysis as their key to differentiate one from the another. In my opinion, on these both, you must need to be lucky enough to finish up in profits. Because, on both we are having scientific strategies to deal against. Overall, in my experiences, trading is better to handle compared gambling; again technical analysis must be the biggest reason for that.

I mean there cannot be any successful trader who are not making use of technical analysis. All traders must need to have it. Probably only long term traders may have fundamental analysis alone as they do not need to act immediate to market fluctuations hence they may not need technical analysis.

I don't think analytical techniques are the best strategy for dealing with the market. We know that if the market is very volatile, this is what makes the analysis not fully run smoothly, because it could be when you have found a strategy but suddenly the market moves not according to the analysis you get. Cases like this often happen even. But you can do analysis techniques just in case.

Any information i got from the forum, I take it serious than the one i got from the investors in the community.
Personal research is another strategy i use to earn well from my investments. It help me to know if the project is real or not before embarking on such project in the community. Using my personal research to carry out my trade, it enable me to achieve massive income from the market.

No, bitcoin market always obey most of the technical strategies but if anything big negative or positive news arrives then market reacts to that still it is common for all markets. If you think that bitcoin market is always under manipulations of whales, I must say that even after all kind of reaction to news and manipulation still by end of the day only technical will win. It means even if market is dumped by a whale and then all others follow that whale, what will decide the bottom? Only support levels.

I do not think you have an idea of what you are actually asking, there are hundreds of indicators if not thousands which can be combined in an almost infinite way to produce and infinite number of strategies, the best strategy to trade the markets is in fact the one you have researched and you know it works, it does not matter if a trader has a strategy that is much more effective than yours, as long as you are making profits with your strategy and you know why it works then you are in a better shape than 90% of all the traders around the world.

Any tools or indicators that have been provided can help to anticipate the market. because a whale or professional trader also uses indicators and creates high volatility by influencing the market with enough money to influence the market in their favor. Whales play with psychology so that novice traders will fall into whale traps easily. Go with the flow and don't go against the current made by the whales.
technical analysis is very important to know or interpret the market even though it is not 100% accurate but will be able to help.

This is the time that you can say trading is gambling as well because you’re not doing your job to analyze, you are just purely depending on what’s in the market and the market hype. Trading is about reading the trend and know when you will buy and set up your exit plan, without this trading is not effective and you’ll just lose money.

There are moments that your TAs are good but not too good when the market does the unexpected. To the day traders, it's really working as the typical day comes.
But you'll just be surprised that it won't go accordingly when the market changes all of a sudden within that very day. That only happens for a few times and not as always the way the traders use it.

Well, as you say, I see the technical analysis only as a prediction tool, but only when I have already done a fundamental analysis according to the temporality, that is, if it is to days, weeks and months, that way I can determine some type trend or what can happen when looking at the trading volume.

After that I have already defined what can happen is when I do the technical analysis, this is how I analyze the market using technical analysis. For me, technical analysis does not have the full scope of the market, I am not one of those who believe that technical analysis is everything, where I do believe it is when an analysis is made for scalping.

Following the strategy that I had never invest in the same coin again and again which can also stable me and having much time for other coins to think about, due to this it is also giving me much profit, you can also get profit by investing in different coins instead of investing in the same coin which may be better for you.
If your old coins are not anymore profitable for you, then maybe its time for you to find new coins that you think have brighter future and has a real usage case that will attract more demands from the community. And when you trade, its better to use technical analysis so that you will know its chart patterns and identify trends and come up with a good forecast on how the coins will move in  the market in the next days. Or maybe just follow the basic strategy that most people here do, buy at the bottom and sell at the top.

That buy low and sell high strategy, TA may help you to analyze and make a good position for the betterment of your trade. There are many aspects that influenced the market better to have good sets of strategies to use. If you are more on day trade or short-term trade, you have to analyze the market and what are the possibilities before you start placing your money.

But if you are more on maximizing your profits, long-term is more appropriate, buy and hold, keep the market to cycle wait till you
reached your target, then decide what next to do with your investment.

TA is fortune telling to me. I used to be a huge fan but then I realized fundamentals are way more important than TA.

TA gives you an idea but counting on that idea alone is very very very dangerous.

TA is shaped by the fundamentals of the asset. It is not the other way around.

This is the reason, we are seeing considerable amount of traders come here to cry out about the failure of their technical analysis in the end. Because bitcoin market is influenced by many factors and not just technical analysis driven hence we need to take care of news and events so that we can exit at stop loss levels when our technical analysis is going wrong.

I am also making use of technical analysis for my trading but I am just converting trading bitcoins into long term holding if my technical analysis is not helping me to crack profit for a day.

I am not sure what are the advantages you are finding with fundamental analysis compared to technical analysis.
If your a short term trader then you must need to go for technical analysis rather than sticking with fundamental analysis.

At the same time, you are referring to holding kind of long term trading with the help of fundamental analysis then I believe you are just doing perfect because for such a long term trading fundamental analysis is more than enough. I am into all types of trading and I am depending on both fundamental and technical analysis because if only fundamental are good I will go for trading that coin pair and based on market conditions, I will be deciding about long term or short term trading.

Not just a few but most of the time a trader becomes a long-term holder, and what happens to you has also happened to the others( even me).
It was decided to hold because the reality is that trading can't be good all the time. We feel much stress and difficulty in formulating TA's and besides, a thing that we can't rely upon nor it gives an accurate market direction. As long as the market is still unpredictable, that TA will also remain just a sort of speculation.

We can make use of TA on our trade, even if we just holding but have to bear in mind that this can't be 100% effective.

When it comes to precision or being accurate then this is something always not really possible no matter how good you are neither a technical type of trader or a fundamentalist too.

This market is known to be unpredictable and very volatile which it could go up and down without any reason which means that all of analysis made wont
give out an assurance but somehow it does give out some advantage compared into those traders who dont use any.

TA's are the most common indicators been using on this market. You cant just hear out news from time to time so its just normal that you would
see on where people would be heading on.

Technical analysis may get failed due to various reasons but watching news alone will not help you here. Moreover if you are good at technical analysis then you will be having stoploss level along with your entry. It means even you are not watching news you will be getting chances to exit at predetermined stoploss level given that you are good at technical analysis in all means.

I am sure all short term traders must be into technical analysis for decision making. If you are missing out technical analysis in your short term trading then I must say that you are not into trading anymore but you are simply gambling with price levels.

All TA is not created equal, there is some TA that is worth it and can give you more insight not only about where the price will go but about other aspects of the market, but there is no doubt there is a lot of TA which is trash and that as you say it is not better than fortune telling, with this in mind then it is important to learn the difference and ignore the trash TA, which is the majority of the TA we can find, and the good TA which can give us more insights about the market.

technical analysis is a staple in my trading. With technical analysis, I can plan the buying and selling areas, so that the framework that I will implement is clear. and after that I can trade with that reference. but not only technical analysis that makes us successful in trading, but psychological trading is also very decisive, because not all of our analysis will be correct of course, and we must be able to see it
I would like to know what is the reference point you take when you are taking the technical analysis of the market that could help in planning when to buy and sell.

The only analysis i take is to identify the support and resistance level in two bands and the rest i do not even bother to look as it is difficult to predict exactly in which direct the market moves even if you have N number of experience in the market.

Not a perfect one but you can use it as basis, there are many factors that affects the market, high volatility comes with whales is really hard to predict, there's no TA when whales move inside and influenced the entire market movement, we all aware that those people are well knowledgeable in terms of making money from this venue of investment, be very careful with how you deal and interpret the market, it will help you a lot if you try not just to use one but every possible tools to anticipate the market.

If yes, what are the best strategies? Bitcoin is so volatile now.

What do you mean by the term "Technical Analysis" ? If you think that TA with the indicators works, then i am afraid it does not work.
The reason is that the all the indicators are lagging and none of them is a leading indicator. If you want to learn TA, then you should only know the price action theory. Its the price action which drives the market.

I'm sure anything related to indicators is what he meant. TA can be of great use for anyone who wanted to earn money by trading coins. He is asking strategies though which perhaps one could just generalize by saying buy low sell high.

But learning indicators is really a huge advantage being a trader because being equipped with this knowledge you would know when to sell and when to buy. My strategy is actually just identifying the market of the coin if it's overbought and oversold.

Technical analysis, of course, is great, but it should be combined with practice on the exchange, because a successful trader combines torus strategies and technical analysis together in order to achieve the desired result or minimize risks.

It is not that hard. When you compare something to nothing, the winner is obvious. In case you haven't noticed, TA is pretty much nothing.

The only situation where TA might work, it is when the conditions stay unchanged. But it is almost always not the case because conditions always change so does the price.

I never want to trade without technical analysis because investing or trading on Bitcoin There are two risks involved, so if you want to trade technical analysis, you may incur losses. Especially when it comes to investing in some new coins, it is not at all possible to invest without technical analysis.
Maybe the best strategy is to find the dip and buy at that time but that will not be easy as we do not know when the dip will come. But if you can buy at a low price, that is enough as the price can increase later. Every people will have their technical analysis if that is related to analyzing the chart and it may be difficult to follow other people's analysis. So the best thing you can do is learn by yourself and do not rely on others so your skills can improve in the future.
@michellee, the best strategy is always to find the dip and it is also the hardest part either and this is why I don't like trading but it is not difficult to follow other people's analysis. Mind you, we have people that do copy trading.
You can follow other people's analysis but remember that they can make a mistake without you can prevent it if you do not make your own analysis. Doing copy trading can also work if we can get the right trader from many traders but that will need time. But when you can analyze by yourself plus get more info from other people's analysis, I am sure that will help you to determine the entry and quit from the trading. But do not forget that will also need the experience to know the right time to trade.
I agreed with you cause no analysis doesn't make a mistake at some point and this is the reason why you still have to do your own search when copy trading adds your knowledge with the pro knowledge. Besides, these people are whales and they can information about the market sometime before we do.
Nevertheless, getting the right market analyzer doesn't need time for those that follow Bitcoin market price very well cause we have legendary people like Pompliano, Willy Woo that offer this service but they mostly paid service.

TA is not something that you should be doing something with exact precision profit making. Thats not going to end up with a lot of profit if you just focus on that, sure there is a chance that you may, but that is not always the case and if you get ready for profiting each time then you are going to make a loss.

Just use it like a tool, and consider TA as something that "helps" you but not the main thing, if you could do that then you will be fine. Add in a lot of stuff, like community size, project creators involvement, decentralization if possible, the road map and many other things basically and if you could still get a nice thing then TA on top of that would be fine.

Exact precision is something that it isnt possible with technical analysis but somehow you could really have chance or higher probability compared into those people who arent using any indicators or tools at all when doing trading.Of course most traders on here do rely with technicals because this is something very normal and you cant just rely
on news or events  because it doesnt happen all  the times which simply means that you would be needing to take  some step for you to move forward.
You wouldnt able to sustain this market if you dont have this kind  of tool or system  of  trading.

Having every time green signals is really a matter of very good strategy and very good luck, which is hard in current time, even not impossible because we have some good number of lucky peoples around us.

Right. Using technical analysis may be good for traders since it makes their price predictions more easier and valid but i really agree that there are times where technical analysis are not really useful since the crypto market is sometimes influenced too with sudden events in the market that create positive or negative value of cryptos. Aside from that, there are big whales too that come to manipulate the market and create a significant pump or dump in the market value. These things are certainly inevitable that create price changes in the market often times.

Investing in the different coins may help you a lot, even if you didn't have that much investment during trading but at least you know something about the trading then always invest in 4 to 5 different coins which might be better , even if you had mistakenly lose in some coin then there will be some hope form getting profit in other coins.

Sure, a lot of people do make use of technical analysis when they are trading. As a trader, technical analysis is something that you are meant to know even before you start trading in the market. Because that's what is going to help you be able to predict which way the market will likely be flowing to.When you don't know technical analysis, then it's just like you're gambling with your choices and you're not even sure of what you are doing. And when you are gambling in the cryptocurrency market it becomes a huge risk for you.

There are different strategies that traders make use of to trade in the cryptocurrency market, the most popular strategies I know are arbitrage trading, scalping, and range trading. You should read more on these three types of strategies and understand how they work. Maybe you’ll be able to find one that works for you or even research more and find other types of strategies.

Market sentiment happened to any kind financial market not only in crypto.

the difference is that there might bigger impact in crypto due FOMO and much more wild market so the price moving faster than any other market. at this point technical analysis might be useless. better to stop and watch the momentum to come, at least that is what i am doing so far.
still .. technical analysis have a special and importance place in making prodit maximized, not a random one.

That is basically a situation that you need to get used to at this point of your life if you are a trader. It is more likely that you will lose all of your money if you keep on working without TA and that will be a horrible situation for you, but if you use TA that will not guarantee profit neither, just makes you lose a lot less.

So, that is exactly the reason why people use TA, not to make a great profit (which you can in both methods) but to make sure that there is a slighter chance that you would lose money. I personally do use TA and I have to say it is usually based on very simple stuff, like support and resistance levels, historical patterns and such, which is why it is simple enough to understand it but never guarantees profit in any way.

Well, the closest to what you want is that you can have access to possible liquidity pools, and there are many options that you can access, the closest to what you want is being developed by a friend named Aaron Luján, because he has its platform where it has them and they explain it to you, the only thing is that it is Spanish-speaking, but its information is unique, you can find it on the web, I think it is called paguer, and it has many strategies but indicators as such, not what if it can give you an idea of when to buy and sell but to the rhythm of a scalping, you can look for it there to see how it goes.

I had stopped trading for a while and decided to invest rather, but before now, when I was still trading yes I made use of technical analysis such as the indicators and charting pattern
The most common charting pattern is line charts and the most common technical indicators are standard deviation and average directional index.

Technical analysis is the study of supply and demand and the best way to  trend.
This analysis may seem difficult and complicated especially to new investors. It provides open avenue for prie movement.

Yes, I've been using technical analysis not because I see it as the best strategy but rather as an effective technique so I would have a basis on when to sell or when to hold. It takes a long time to fully understand things about technical analysis but it's all worth it especially if there is confusion on decision making about trading.

Yes I also use this, technical analysis really helps me minimize my losses. Although sometimes technical is not 100% correct because in the end the market will be determined by the owner of large funds. There are several combinations of analytical tools provided by the market, such as RSI, MACD and Fibonanci sometimes parabolic sar. But sometimes we're as familiar with the Pump sign, so there may be some people using hearts to enter the market.  ;D

To understand about technical analysis in detail is not easy and clearly it takes time to fully understand it,
other than that to learn something we can't be instant it requires a process,
for sure technical analysis is very important to trade or invest

Yes, I've been using technical analysis not because I see it as the best strategy but rather as an effective technique so I would have a basis on when to sell or when to hold. It takes a long time to fully understand things about technical analysis but it's all worth it especially if there is confusion on decision making about trading.

I have been using it much more to face situations such as public token sales, which currently helps me a lot to determine when it is good or convenient to buy or not, even to sell, I have discovered some tools that tell you in real time at what moment to buy and when to sell, as the graph is being generated, the indicator gives you a Buy or Sell notice, this is not all time is efficient but it does give some idea of how an operation can be done quickly, This for me is new, because I see this more like I'm in a casino gambling.
