Title: A modest doge colletion
Post by: dolphriends on October 21, 2021, 06:08:55 PM
Hello friends

Taking a few moments away from my joy over in the NFT world to share my doge collection.  As we get closer to seeing the latest gold doge coin preliminary design artwork from CI, I thought I would share my current items.  The original doge painting hangs in my den and will be up for sale with the launch of the gold coin,  8) 8) 8)

Many many thanks to my friends here

The very rare dice cube was made by Kryptopath back in 2017 and was quite a project to say the least.  I'm sure there are some old threads you can take a look at to see how the final few dice were finally made.  The card is a dogecoin/baseball player artist proof from Topps.  Very difficult to find as this was a sold out project 70.  A few had signatures of the artist which are the rarest and there is a gold 1/1 I saw for 10K on ebay.

thank you - the glare in the pic just makes it very hard to see what they actually are. I will do some research now that I know where to start - thank you.

I owe much of my crypto success to Doge. Wonderful collection!

Love the shib 50k coin, OG as ever.

Doge is more than just a meme.

Nice collections my friend! You need to add some of the bars that bigtimespaghetti made, that would be a nice addition to your doge museum here :) As for the dice, I remember when those were released, think I picked up a couple of those.  I remember he was planning on making this a series of some sort, but once he had the first release he kind of took off.  FYI I'm pretty sure that dice is depicting Dash, not Dogecoin.

I thought it looked like Dash on the one side but couldnt see the other sides very clearly so wasnt sure if it was multi cryptos on it possibly.

Thanks for sharing.

Safe cleaning and found the stash of Doge Nascar Matchbox set. These have become highly collectible, especially the more rare colors of gold, silver, and white. Black is most common, and those sell in the hundreds of $’s at times for 1/64 scale. The 1/24’s like yours sell for even more. I have not come across an orange in the 1/64 scale yet. The May 2014 Doge mag issue #1 highlights the Josh Wise car designer, which is a very cool article and compliments any collection well. I also have a pit crew jersey, but didn’t want to take it out of the plastic. Who knows, maybe I will sell/raffle this collection soon…. ???

Side note, there was an original hood from this car with the Doge logo that went up for grabs on Ebay earlier in the year. i believe sale price was like 10k!

Since you guys are a bunch of Dogecoin collectors, do you any of you have an idea how much a 2014 Shibemint physical dogecoin from the first 1000 series is worth?
