I tried to transfer out my cryotos from binance to crypto.com as binance will not be permitted in canada. I transferred by vechain which went without any issues, however its not he case with my ada. Can someone please guide me in the right direction to recover the lost ADA. Thanks in advance,

I figured out I have send ADA from binance to my crypto.com VET wallet (address). Does anyone know how I can retrieve this?

No vechain network option to withdraw ADA from Binance, so which network did you select to withdraw it?

Oh looks like send to wrong address problem here, what I understood you send ADA coin from Binance to Crypo.com in VET address? There's no way to retrieve/recover your coins since ADA and VET chain are different, it's not like ETH and BSC chain which is same.

But how the address were compatible, I never used VET chain so don't know how the format will be but it is similar with ADA?

All the exchanges should give prior warning before the withdrawal and deposit page which may save most of the users from this situations.

Usually, exchanges don't give back if the cause of the problem of sending to the wrong address is a mistake being done by the user. How much was sent wrongly?
There is nothing people here can do and even if you talk to the crypto.com's representative if there's already a rule that they don't help wrongly sent crypto to the wrong addresses, there's no can do.

It also makes me wonder how OP managed to withdraw ADA from Binance using a vechain address, unless if he of course used the stupid Binance smart chain network under ADA withdrawals.

Vechain and Binance smart chain addresses have the same format.

Otherwise, OP is in bad luck with no hope of retrieving those funds.

Just now tried to check both coins address format and you know they are completely different, vechain has same format as ethereum but cardano has similar with bitcoins so they are completely incompatible still exchange allow the address to send, even though it is a mistake from OP still exchanges can save people from these kind of mistakes.
