Post by: Bitbtc8 on October 24, 2021, 07:26:46 AM
Have anyone really had a good experience while holding rebase coins? Any you guys seen any rebase project that became successful and still alive? 99% of them sucks hard honestly or maybe I was wrong? Share your experiences with rebase tokens

Scam mechanism. The total supply can be changed by the developers. 100% of rebase tokens are just scam tokens. Rebase tokens will never be successful. You're right about that. There are no successful rebase tokens.
Rebase tokens have no purpose at all because it doesn't have utility and usability. Rebase token was the only way for the developers to keep its value by adjusting the total supply. that means any bad or good performance will not give any impact on the price of tokens. That will be so difficult for investors to know whether that's having good or bad performance but it gives an advantage for the developer coz they were holding pre-mined tokens. they can sell their tokens at a good rate anytime as the price will be stable because of manipulation that happened with total supply. This was a scam token.

AMPL, Goma, Base protocol was giving lots of lessons about how bad rebase token was.

Rebase tokens are not for holding. I once held rebase tokens and the tokens that we hold will continue to decrease, even though the token price goes up or down.

I have never held Rebase Tokens, because I really don't know exactly why and what is the purpose of holding them? if the mechanism is just like Stablecoin, it's better to hold Stablecoin than hold Rebase Token right? :D

I am aware of some Rebase Tokens like RMPL (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/rmpl/) and YAM (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/yamv1/), but would never want to use them ;)

My experience on rebase coin isn't good. But I think I've joined one before that has good profit but since majority of my entry there are loss then Ive stopped investing on this kind of features. I think the one left that still hanging are those only who are listed on big exchanges. Problem here are some manipulate the price until rebase happened leaving retailers lose.
