So I realized that, recently, there are so many tokens getting listed on Hotbit.

Tried trading few times,

And I guess this exchange is a lot better than Bitforex or Digifinex (I mean these two WERE good.. but not anymore.. I think)

At least all my tokens are not gone in the wind and assets look safe.

But are the tokens on this exchange trustworthy? I don't wanna trade on SCAM exchanges.

Any experience with Hotbit, anyone?

Agreed, I have been using hotbit since 2019 and i never encounter a serious problem with it. I was also receiving regular passive income even with holding small amounts of USDT on my hotbit account. Bitforex and digifinex are well known as manipulated exchenge site. it doesn't have volume and all of trades happened on both were fake trades by bots. I have tried to use those exchange sites as well but hotbit was better than those exchange sites.

I should remind you that never try to put a lot of money on hotbit This is to prevent a bad thing to happen with you and your money.

There are lots of scam tokens on hotbit. You must be careful when choosing a token to trade on hotbit.

Not sure how you can blame an exchange if the projects turned out to be a scam. I mean, sure, they might have some poor due diligence (or maybe none), but at the end of the day, the team of the project is the one who run the scam. As far as I can remember, 'scam exchange' usually refers to shady exchange who manipulates volume, employ shady TOS, etc.

That being said, just use Hotbit as your third or fourth choice, don't use it as your main exchange. If the tokens listed there don't exist on other reputable exchanges, there are high chances that it might be a bad project anyway.

Ive Been using Hotbit for more than 2 years now. Hotbit was once hacked and now they recover. So, i can say Hotbit is safer to trade on now, Because the team will have learnt from thier mistakes and will have tried to make the exchange more safe from hackers.

I think these three exchanges have almost the same quality in terms of security, and trading volume. so there is nothing special about the three exchanges. so none of the best of them. not bad, but still not worthy to be used as a main choice.



Not all, because Hotbit is one of the exchanges with too easy to list tokens. so that means there are a lot of bad quality tokens there. so it is not recommended to use this exchange, because there are too many bad coins there.

I've used hotbit before, the exchange is legit, but there are also complained of being scam. But from my experience it's good but that was years ago never used that again since then.

All I can say is that they listed some of the tokens that are potential scam and rug meaning they can accommodate it as long as the project paid it.

I stay away from Hotbit because this exchange is a dumping site for hyped tokens IMO. Like you said, many tokens are easily listed there and a lot of them pumps too but how many of them were able to sustain their volume? If I ever trade there one day (out of necessity), I would sell and get out as fast as I can.

Hotbit is a good exchange, but not all tokens listed there are good. Many shitcoins are listed there, so don't let you trade the wrong coin / token.

Personally, I haven't used Hotbit not even once, but I just want you to see the threads about and make up your own conclusion.

Just a piece of advice.
If you have a token listed there and you're wanting to sell, sell right away so that you won't be feeling that worry if it's good to trade there or not.
You'll always get to see the division of suggestion of telling you to stay away from that exchange and those that have good experience trading there.

Hotbit is safe you have no problem, I've used this exchange more than 20-30 times already and I've never faced any type of issues but the warning is don't leave any coins or tokens on the exchange, once you trade or swap successfully just withdraw straight away

They also spent their resources to fix their code, improve security and in the progress, they are very transparent with public updates for community. They are legit exchange and their reaction after the hack shows that they are improving.

You can trust the exchange but don't store all your money on any exchange, not only on Hotbit. Not your keys, not your coins.

Hotbit was one of the few centralized exchanges I used early in my crypto years, before I switched totally to decentralized exchanges(I don't even know how a cex looks like these days). I can pretty much say their services were okay, no snags, no reason to holler for help. Even when they had exploitation late last year or early this year, I still trusted them to bounce back, when many people thought they have exit scammed

All exchangers have advantages and disadvantages.
It's good from hotbit, that's without having to verify the KYC account. Without the need to upload upload and selfies use identification cards. Just verify email and cellphone number, boom !! Can directly deposit and withdraw balance.
The disadvantage is because it does not need KYC, it can be used for money laundering and it is not impossible that someday it will trace the legal case. And based on the experience there had also been a hacking of hotbit servers so that they had a sudden repair for 14 days but managed to recover again and said the user balance was safe and fine.

you cannot transfer more than $ 1000 to this exchange. At one time, I made a lot of transactions here, but I left this exchange just before it was hacked. And I don't trade on it anymore.

Actually Hotbit is not a bad exchange, i use it from many times but only for emergency, i not use this exchange as crypto trading.
It is not a comfortable exchange as my opinion, becouse withdraw fees, minimum withdraw etc system. Some coins minimum withdraw and fees is huge, and also totally  i don’t trust this type exchange.                 

I used this exchange from 2018 and still i didn’t see or face any major things. But Several months ago i have seen hotbit exchange hacked it’s confirmed through hotbit Twitter handle. Whatever, i like it’s easy accessible interface so i feel comfort to trade sometimes. It’s not top tier exchange but not bad, Another big advantages here you can trade, withdraw without KYC.

In my opinion, the Hotbit exchange is quite good for trading. This is certainly not Binance, but it is quite possible to sell the necessary coins on it, especially since there is a wide variety of them. I have been using it for a long time, and there were no complaints. I don't use it for trading, I just bought, sold, and withdrew.

Hotbit doesn’t require to KYC to deposit and withdraw assets. I don’t see about Daily limit in withdrawal. Yeah, it has good ranking in Coingecko as well as in coinmarketcap ranking top 100. Most of the people using this exchange to trade or only sell bounty tokens but no one will go for deposit to big amount of money. 

I used to use this exchange for exchanges, but not trade permanently. So far all was well, but it is difficult to recommend unequivocally, it is not in the leaders now. If you want to trade, you must be identified (KYC) and not keep a lot of money there.

Don't trust the rankings given by some certain site even if we know how good the site placed them on good position since I think Hotbit got an issue in the past which they manipulate their own volume so never trust any of it. And also as you said many bounty hunters just go here to sell their earned tokens that's why its better to do this and never think about trading any huge amount since as of now many doesn't trust this exchange.

I have read many complaints about users funds reducing or outrightly disappear on hotbit exchange.  I use the exchange when there is no alternative for trade I want to make.  I will advice that you do not trade big amount on the exchange and make sure you do not leave your coin on the exchange.  The coin that are in your wallet is truly the coin that belong to you!

There are a lot of feedback tickets and complaints about investor accounts on exchanges, so a little complaint on hotbit exchanges is normal but after all, victims still receive satisfactory treatment and besides, some are also unable to properly substantiate errors in their accounts, based on such a situation, rating the exchange as a bad one probably isn't too fair. Actually I'm not so sure about this exchange, if asked to do KYC it's a natural thing, but whether the security that the exchange has can be trusted / not, but here everyone doesn't want to take risks, in terms of trading, of course we put money which are large, so why don't we look for bigger exchanges like Binance or Bittrex, Poloniex, which have been trusted for a long time..

You will have to manually check to detect trading volume without using bots as exchange rankings are just a regular list sorted by overall daily trading volume calculation. I don't hold any long term coins on Hotbit because the reputation is not convincing in my opinion.

I have traded there several times, and so far it is quite safe. in fact, I just traded a few weeks ago, and maybe in the next few days, I might be trading there again. So far, I have never held my tokens or coins long term there. however, as far as I use it, it works pretty well.

I have never traded on hotbit, and most people here recommend against going there and they probably have many reasons or bad experiences with hotbit.  Most of my actions are done on Dex… except for p2p commands which are done on binance.  I love defi platforms more.  It was there that I really felt freedom.

Dex is getting better and EVM or cross-chain bridges are also convenient.  I believe it will really be the future of exchange

I have an account on it and have never had any problems. Also, the times I needed help, they responded via email very quickly. About tokens, you have to create some filter because many that enter there are scams.

To identify trading bots, access one of the coin trades to compare supply and demand with daily trading volume, if the trading volume is too high but the demand and buying is too low, it is certain that the trading bot plays a role in increasing daily volume, another alternative is to see the recent trading history.

Hotbit has become one of the largest exchanges in the world.  a lot of big tokens are listed on hotbit and have a good trading volume, I experienced trading on hotbit and I saw that hotbit is very good and worth using for long term or short term trading.  besides that hotbit also has many advantages over the exchanges mentioned above

Based on my experience trading on the Hotbit exchange, I have never lost an asset. In fact, I always get a bonus every time they launch new coins according to the specified requirements. I think it's a safe and reliable exchange. Maybe if they experience problems, they immediately activate maintenance mode, so that the platform cannot be accessed by anyone.

The hotbit was hacked several times and then continued on its way. Nice volume available on the listed cryptocurrencies. They continue on their way by improving their platforms day by day. Mobile apps also work nicely. The only problem with mobile applications is that they constantly update their applications. This gets annoying after a while. Another problem is that there are many bots and these bots can cause scams. But apart from these, it is a reliable exchange platform.

I have 6 digits in hotbit right now. Doing defi farming yields. And eth n btc interest per day. It is risky af but interest is good also. Lots of money! Earning 15$ a day doing nothing! Just gotta trade if alt coins decide to crash lmao.

Hotbit isn't the only exchange that has ever been hacked. But since the could bounce back and @ op haven used the exchange for quite some time and has some level of satisfaction using the exchange shouldn't have any cause for alarm. The tokens listed might not be in the place of the exchange to decide if it's a scam or not. For all new tokens it's wise to set a profit target pull out as soon as possible while you sit back for a while to watch it's next moves

also, the exchange is not responsible for each coin or token that will be listed on them. they won't know if the team will rug pull or not. as a trader, you should be the one checking up on the coin, not the exchange.
i had used hotbit before but that was a long time ago. no prob encountered. but of course, you should not store your funds in exchange, whether top or not.
this should be done for all exchange anyway. so once you finished your trading, get your funds out.

They do their research before they list new coins or tokens and the top exchanges will be more careful with their investigation. However, we as investors or traders can not rely on them. Exchanges have risk with hack and their investigations can be inaccurate. Nothing is perfect with anybody or any exchange.

Not only checking up process but also don't store your coins on exchanges for longer than what you need.

Exactly. Smart money flows like that, they only deposit to exchanges when they need to take profit. If they buy coins but price is not good to take profit, they move their coins out. We see it with exchange inflow and outflow and big outflow consistently is one of good indicator of something good in eyes of investors.

It is ok but not perfect for exchange, I have been trading with it since 2018 and have not had any problems in use.
And apparently hotbit also doesn't need KYC, but the problem is trading bots and lots of shitcoins :) , the liquidity of many coins is not there.
Always research to be sure you are going to deposit money into it and also keep an eye on the amount that you can withdraw.

Hotbit's use case doesn't have a problem, but the exchange is still so lacking in features that it's still lagging behind the others, and I only use Hotbit to exchange my coins if they're not on another exchange and are just there

Hotbit shitcoin list is amazing! I used it before, while I had fun with some ICO's and alt investments, Hotbit is the exchange with early listings, so it was good for that purpose, to get out earlier! As I remember they had pretty high fees for BTC and ETH withdraws, it's why I didn't spend a lot of time there... I don't know the situation now, but probably they still have the highest withdraw fees around!

I have been using it since 2020 and I've never encountered any red flags so far. As far as I know this exchange is quite good and has lots of volume too. Good exchange for new coins emerging the market. The one thing I observe but not in connection with scam flags is their listings of shitcoins. Most of them are useless that rallies hotbit this year. Nonetheless, 4star exchange for me.

I have not used this exchange anymore but based on my last experience, the exchange is good, they process withdrawals instantly and they also have a good trading volume though not as good as the top exchanges.

While discussing about how good or bad Hotbix exchange is, always remember that half a year ago it was hacked. Nearly 2 million users data leaked and the webpage was under maintenance for two weeks. They claim that not a single user suffered money loss. But users funds were frozen for two weeks. And compare it to other exchange hacks. Some got hacked and dont recover, some got hacked, but continue work if not the next day, then in a couple of days.

I have been using this exchange since more than 3 years and I mostly use its trading platform to deposit and sell my tokens which I receive from Airdrops and Bounty campaigns and they are most of the quickly get listed on Hotbit. The transaction and withdrawal fees are comparatively highly and I didn't find their platform attractive for trading when you compare it with Binance and Kukoin because their volumes are very low.

Well it's not just limited to KYC implementation and withdrawal limits as it's also on all other exchanges, but the good thing is it's on the coin list there and also the amount of volume there as well as withdrawal limits which are much bigger than other exchanges make the judgment of some people go bad for Hotbit.

I say they were an okay exchange, started around the time of Binance exchange become popular ~2017-2018 so they try hard to be another Binance. I did a few trades and withraw altcoins at there too and so far, my experience with the site has zero hiccups yet. They also have a good amount of trading volumes too.

I have used Hotbit for some time, and I do not have a problem. Hotbit uses a standard verification, and I think Hotbit can be a good exchange in the future as they are trying to serve better for their members. But you need to research more to find if Hotbit is one of the exchanges you want because we will have different things about Hotbit. If you feel comfortable using Hotbit, you can use it for more and trade on that Hotbit.

yes it is safe and 100% save to trade on hotbit but do not leave huge amount of funds in there. also, I use that platform to trade shit coins. must shitcoins that I have are been dumped on hotbit. i see it as a hunting ground for pump and dump groups. it is safe and you can use but be sure that centralized exchanges are a target for hackers. Do your own research.

I used the hotbit exchanger myself 3 years ago. I don't think this exchanger is of good quality. This is because most of the tokens in the hotbit exchanger are later scammed and the volume on this exchanger is much lower.

I literally last week had my first experience with this exchange. A coin that I bought for deh was floated there. The deposit of this omenet came within 20 minutes, but the withdrawal was opened after 4 days, which strained me a little, because I did not want to sell all the coins. But in the end I got everything, and everything was successful, without any loss of funds.
Of the advantages of the exchange:

Cons:
-Large commissions for trading and withdrawal.

My dealing with hotbit is not that much, but what  believe and suggest is that don't leave your coin too long on exchange, however Hotbit has good reputation ever since have been using it, my friends and my mentor has never complained about it it it before.

As long as I use a Hotbit account to trade so far it is still very safe and I need to know that with so many tokens with new projects coming to the exchange, we have to be more careful in choosing tokens in the market because the trading volume of these tokens is so small that if we buy it very risky.
But if we make transactions with good tokens it seems safe enough to make transactions there.

in an exchange there must be a token that is a scam.  but the scam will usually be seen after some time to come.  my advice if you are an active user of the exchange always analyze your chosen token well so you don't experience mistakes in the selection and get stuck in a loss

Because it’s listing fee provably not quite high. So that new projects will target this CEX and it’s don’t take long time to trade a new coin. It could be safe when you will not deposit such large amount because you know this exchange already hacked a several months ago. So, don’t trade with large amount of money.

Scams are events that are difficult to predict. Usually done in a sudden way. This has happened on several other exchanges which at first seemed very reliable. But according to my experience, this exchange works well, and I also trade on this exchange. however, the volume is very low based on the CMC story.

I've seen a few complaints about this exchange, but it's probably not a big problem, because this type of situation happens everywhere.
I have personally sold a few tokens on Hotbit and have never had problems.
However, I do not recommend keeping funds on any exchange longer than necessary.

My previous experience was great, but i didn't use hotbit since it got hacked. Also many memecoins/shit projects are getting listed into that exchange, that's why there are so many tokens in hotbit. Basically, memecoins/shit projects are using hotbit at first place as they can generate huge volume by wash trading to attract new investors. ;D So just use that exchange when you don't have any option and storing funds into that exchange isn't good choice, IMHO.

Since I have no choice but to use them since 2 of my tokens are only listed there with a good volume, I test the water at that exchange and that's it. Deposit and withdrawals are smooth and I used the exchange for months since then. It's been a long time now since I last used the exchange so I can't comment about its current status to the community.

At the initial stage all projects almost look good, but when the development team starts to stop and have obstacles to carry out the project roadmap, then from that everyone can judge and see how strong the project can hold up well and in which direction the project will choose its partners at that time, including choosing a popular exchange of course.

hotbit being one of the exchanges that has good potential for trading I see if hotbit is safe to use. I think hotbit is currently in the best position for new coins to be listed. because coins listed on hotbit usually have the potential to grow bigger

Some time ago on the forum there were those who said the balance on Hotbit disappeared for no reason and there was also a decrease even though it did not make any transactions. Yeah, although i'm not a regular trader on hotbit but i have done so many trades and token sells on there. Mainly i use this exchange for token sells. can't tell about what other people experience but i haven’t face any kind trouble yet. recently it was hacked but that's a common and normal thing nowadays. Can’t guarantee about safety cause no exchange is totally safe but at least you can trade there if you don't have other choice. Otherwise better to select good exchange by Trust rating

totally wrong, you have counted only token that are still alive in yobit but you didn't even count the tokens that gone to the hell. there are bunch of shit scam coin already dead in hotbit exchange site. Did you remember about thos doge fork token? so many doge fork token already listed on hotbit and they have gone. Hotbit has also faced so many problems in the past. Did you remember when hotbit got hacked?

a few days ago, I just made a transaction on hotbit because I sold a token, and most likely I will still do more transactions in the future.

If you want to trade on hotbit I don't think there is wrong, because until now the hotbit market has not been a problem and it is still safe for us to use, but you have to be careful in hotbit many fraudulent tokens so do not get stuck in obscure tokens because the hotbit market is not 100% we can rely on so do not let our assets disappear just like this of course we must be vigilant, For the problem of my experience also used the hotbit market in the last year when it was very safe for us to use.

What you said is true because I personally also use Hotbit as a place of exchange only and nothing more because after everything is done I immediately withdraw it to my wallet without me storing anything there, because storing there has a much greater risk.

Hotbit has some problems in spring when Hotbit exchange temporarily suspended its work due to hacker attack.Hackers failed to gain access to the cryptocurrency, but they were able to steal client data from the exchange. Nevertheless, team of the Hotbit exchange fixed everything and it  completely recovered from the cyberattack in two weeks. Now it is safe.

I consider this exchange to be trustworthy, I have had no problems with it apart from problems in April connected with haker attack. A lot of projects launched on this exchange, so it is very comfortable when you have access to all new altcoins and projects. What is more, this exchange help some projects and becomes their investors.

For lots of new coins listing means there so many SCAM projects got listed easily i have seen a several such of projects and you know it can be Danger for the newbies traders. I used to like this exchange a lot before being hacked, but now i am a little worried about using it.

I occasionally trade on the HotBit exchange. I haven't had any bad experiences with this exchange so far. Everything is smooth and perfect.  You can definitely trade here. This is not a scam exchange. However, if any token listed here is turn into scam then what is the fault of exchange?

I have trust on Hotbit exchange for one reason, I once submitted Hotbit exchange USDT wallet address to receive my bounty rewards, as at the time the coin will be sent, Hotbit exchange face some security challenges, so they did maintenance, unfortunately they change almost all the wallet address, so I was scared and my reward was sent during their maintenance, but as I chat them they returned my money. That's why I like trading using Hotbit because I belive my wealth is safe.

I use this exchange because I had a few alts listed only there, or Hotbit is an exchange with a higher trading volume of these altcoins. I believe they want to work honestly, their good management at the time they were hacked has been mentioned several times.

I noticed a few problems with them. first, there is a very low trading volume. it is certainly lower than they report.
I lost some funds because of their poor loading platform. The deposit address did not load properly (after more than a few minutes), and I send one token to USDT address (which is the default when opening the deposit page). they asked for too much in ETH to transfer the token to the correct address.

Hotbit is not so reliable exchange as far as security of your funds is concerned. It has history of hacking and exchange for shut down for many days as far as I remember. It is famous  for listing of low quality projects, having weak use case , their withdrawal fees are relatively higher when you compare it with Binance and other leading exchanges. Most of the listed tokens have poor liquidity, which causes users to have problems trading assets and customer support is also very weak.

Yeah, hotbit is indeed better than digifinex or bitforex. I traded in hotbit for a long time and never encounter any problem and compared to digifinex, hotbit has a small transaction fees. Digifinex is not a good exchange for me because it is manipulated  and the transaction fees is too high which is very dissapointing and annoying because sometimes transaction fee is huge than your asset needed to withdraw that's why the ending is   you won't withdraw your asset.

For example, the other day I had some BFG for selling, Hotbit was one of the places where BFG is listed, and I think the best place of all others. So I got in and out without any issues, I can even say pretty fast USDT withdraws, and we can choose many chains, I went with TRX just 1 USDT fee... on ETH it was $30!

So don't save your crypto in CEX  because we don't have guaranteed ownership, use CEX just for trading

Sometime even the project isn't worth or doesn't have a publicised team they also list it. As long they completed and settle the listing fee. I have been using the Hotbit exchange for a long time now to exchange and sell tokens. And in my opinion, the exchange is very in demand in the cryptocurrency market. Since the exchange always conducts transactions without any problems without delay. I believe that the exchange can be used and advised to anyone who is looking for a safe sale of tokens.

I think depend with coin do you trade for volume trading in Hotbit because not all coin have good volume trading there, if shit coin or small altcoin have lower volume trading transaction and I think is not worth with trade less volume trading coin. But I applause with withdrawing process in Hotbit as faster exchange using bsc network you can try without one minutes your transaction have completed, beside Binance and Kucoin take five minutes for withdrawing completed and transaction with internal transfer take five minute not with other exchange withdrawing.

IMO, based on my experiences while using Hotbit it is a good and legit cryptocurrency exchange because I was using it many times already deposit and withdrawal is fast, and so far I have not encountered any problem while using it so in fairness to Hotbit Ill give it a neutral score base on my own experience.

I also noticed that, so many altcoin are get listed on hotbit! I heard about this exchange before but haven’t saw any bad experience from anyone! I haven’t used hotbit for long but recently i registration on hotbit for selling unknown token, all was okey but i found it has server issue, thats why sometime withdraw option not working and some futures of this exchange, fail to loading properly but Over all okey

Yeah I have also experienced server problems and that makes there features do not work properly. Maybe there are obstacles to my internet network problems because it only happens for a short time and the problem is quickly resolved. So I think Hotbit is safe as long as I use it as a trading exchange.

I've traded on hotbit alot of times and sincerely, it's a shitty exchange if am asked, one is that there is no liquidity on the exchange, it's one of worst exchange to trade altcoins, alot of fake trades and fake orders by bot.
Not to say that digifinex is nice but I think digifinex is better when compare to hotbit, I can only trade on hotbit exchange if the coin am trading is not listed anywhere else, or if other exchanges trading the coin are worster than hotbit.

That's right. their deposits & withdrawals are impressive but hotbit Isn't a good place for store or trading coins cause i notice, they try to survive their coin by bot trading. No order but continuously buy-sell are ongoing.

There are some other exchanges too that are also promoting shit projects. You check Latoken, Bitforex, Probit, Coinsbit, whitebit, P2PB2B, and some similar exchange then you will see this exchange has extremely low volume and all the top project listed there has a big spread. Those exchanges are not ideal for daily trading and all the shit project listed there shows enormous amounts of volume with a very small buy order.

Hotbit is an old exchange, I used it to liquidate some staked tokens. Personally, I don't refer anyone to use Hotbit nor digifinex, both of them are functional but no one knows when it will go sleep.

You could use such types of low-rated exchanges for short terms to sell your Bounties or native tokens, But not use those as your main exchange to do online trade.
Better you could go throw Bitfinex, Binance, Bittrex, Coinbase to do trade.

Why not? I think exchange is one of the basis to know if the coin is good or not because based on my observation almost good projects will take the effort to get listed on top exchanges. Cannot you see that almost new born coins on binance, get successful later on? The poorer the exchange the less stricter they are so I do not think they will easily delist coins that are not performing well. They will prolong it, as long as they are still receiving payments from the coin owner.

Overall, I am not saying that hotbit is one of the bad exchange but hotbit is in fact one the exchanges that are popular and it is better than the exchanges that I have use on the past.

You want to ask about the exchange or about the token? If you believe in the exchange, of course you have to believe in its contents. If you have any doubts about some of the tokens in it, of course you can choose the more popular tokens listed on some of the world's best exchanges. There are many options there, you can choose the best for you. Unless you can't trust the exchange, so you have to leave everything behind.

I haven't used hotbit for a long time but have made transactions there several times. my main {favorite} exchanges are binance, ftx and kucoin, after that hotbit and coinbase.

Don't make hotbit the first and second option, because this exchange doesn't look as big as binance, coinbase and others, even though hotbit is still in the safe category and doesn't have too big a risk, hotbit's development has not been as big as the exchange you mentioned, personally I have used hotbit several times, although this exchange is safe and does not affect the value of the assets we have, but at the moment I prefer binance, FTX and Coinbase

Yeah, you are right. If there are options, there is no need to rely on this exchange. But if a token is only listed in this exchange, then we are forced to use this exchange. Sometimes while making a buy or sell order in this exchange we are forced to make it as a multiply of a round figure such as 100, 1000, 100000 etc. As a result, some tokens may remain unsold.

Actually a hard situation on which you do need to make on point decision whether you do sell those tokens or not and there are several factors which you do have

3. Liquidity

You can simply check internet to find how shady this exchange is, there are many accusation and issues this site is facing from this forum and even out so best know to when to trade and where to put your funds.
Hotbit is not one of those so try not to lose your money from scam project that protected by this exchange .

I don't think it's the exchange that makes us lose money, although there are some exchanges like that, but in general, what causes us to lose money, is because of the bad coins we have, so there is no movement or even lost in the market, this is what is called fraud, so it's better to identify a good project that can generate maximum profit, the problem of exchange is almost the same.

Sometimes our personal decision towards how we do our trades what makes us lose our money, but their are certain factors that the exchange reputation play a role here since if the exchange is not reputable and do scamming then this is totally a bad decision to us if we keep depositing our money and continuously trades at them. I doubt that was a fake but rather the volume of that coin is just low. It's usual to happen in some low-volume coins but it doesn't mean it's because of the exchange alone. As far as general personal reviews are concerned, there are good and bad experiences using the platform. It now depends on the new user how they will apply the word "safe" here in this exchange.

Since Hotbit doesn't require or mandate KYC, it's one of the reasons why other users preferred using these exchanges instead of those big and popular ones.

who told you that there is no hack in hotbit exchange, they were hacked late last year, their upgrading is just too much almost frequently, lots of fake pump, to me it's more or less like a pump and dump heaven, I can't recommend the exchange for a newbie, lots of sketchy things going on there

For beginners in the crypto space, it's really not recommended to use Hotbit because there are many better exchange options than Hotbit at the moment so hacking and other vague things can also be an absolute consideration for anyone at this time.

All users has their experience on every single exchange most especially Hotbit. You need to read their terms and conditions, withdrawal fees etc. I had little challenge with them back then with 2FA and which was very hard for me to handle though I moved my usdt and traded with a newly listed token over there, after buy token with higher price not up to 48 hrs the token I bought very high turns to zero (0) and I lost my funds.
So from my little investigation they mostly involved in pumping/dumping of token, you have to be very careful when operating with such tier exchange.

That's why I never buy new tokens listed on Hotbit except only use the exchange to sell the tokens I got from the bounty campaign because sometimes the tokens from the campaign are only listed on Hotbit and not anywhere else. And if for example it is on another exchange, then I will not immediately use Hotbit if the volume is the same.

Still better than Azbit and P2PB2B but not good if you are looking for a place to keep trading and selling coins, only use hotbit if the coin or token isn't listed on anywhere else, there is a good small exchange called CoinEX, I tho k it's the best of all smaller exchanges out there.

i have used hotbit before and trading was smooth, deposits and withdrawls, same thing, but i once wanted to sell a token that started dumping and i had on the hotbit exchange, and i couldn't sell because the website was under maintenance so i had to wait several hours watching the token i had slowing going down and down and even when they said the maintenance will be done at a specific time, they weren't able to catch up with it they were and hour and a half late to fix it, even though it's not that bad overall but i recommend you find a replacement for it.

That's the safest mate , because  Hotbit seems to be facing many accusation nowadays and yes only if the coin is listed there? and if it will only be sold on that exchange then get it there but if you can prevent from using this? then best to do it that way.
Hotbit is not that safe exchange anymore comparing to 2016 when I was new in crypto and this is one of the popular exchange.

I also do not consider Hotbit a safe exchange. Yes, you can deposit money, buy any low cap coin which is not listed on big exchanges and move the coin/funds out of the exchange. Do not keep your coins and money in hotbit exchange for the long term. The exchange is not a scam at the moment but I stopped trusting the small exchanges after the hack/scam from cryptopia exchange where I lost too much money. :(
We need to remain safe and never trust too much on exchanges.
