Post by: scorpiokk on October 26, 2021, 09:37:51 PM
Hi there,

I am buying BTC if someone wants to sell me at reasonable price (Interac in CAD)!
I'm happy to KYC, escrow a must:

Thank you!

Why are you asking for a trade for your fiat then directing to an unknown site inorder to complete it?
Doesn't make much sense if your on a forum asking to do it offsite.

I know I wouldn't want to initiate a trade with someone on here then having go too another site to register on for doing the deal.

There is a very good chance that this could be a scam attempt. There are known p2p sites like paxful and other. The op can easily use them instead of a fishy site that know one knows.

According to whois record the site has been created on 2021-04-29 04:28:28 UTC

Depends on what site will be used to complete the deal, if it's a trustworthy like other known p2p website e.g. localcrypto, then its okay but to an new/unknown website? No.

Considering they are willing to KYC I wouldn't touch this deal. Canada has several simple options available for anyone willing to KYC with minimmal fee impact (we've emerging from the dark age of Quadriga), so it doesn't make any sense to complicate it by going on forum for an untrusted deal.
