Try to move this on Beginners & Help (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0) board. My bad but I guess your account will forever be locked as I think they email way back then USA customers that they should remove all the funds and sign up instead to Binance.US, it was way back 2020 and it's almost a year now. Try to reach their customer service but remind you that they aren't that responsive to attend customer's issue.

Contact their support. You definitely won't be able to use your account anymore, but they can't just take your money like that - that would be theft. You should email their complaints or support addresses and ask them to withdraw your crypto's to you (they might send it to the last deposit address you used).

I assume you aren't an active trader hence why you didn't immediately find out that U.S. users would be moved from Binance to Binance US. Probably withdraw your funds to a non-custodial wallet instead to prevent such problems in the future? Also taking note that centralized exchanges are a hot target for hackers.

But yea, contact support.

No one over here can help you. And I don't think you are screwed. Like others said, contact support. They will highly likely help you move your funds from Binance global to Binance US. You will have to pass identity verification though on the Binance US version. And Scammers might now try to contact you over here saying that they can help you retrieve your funds. Just ignore them.

There are a lot of queries which you need to answer before we can come to any resolution of your issue.

1- When did you created the account  and when did you last access it ?
2- Are you using VPN to access the binance account ?
3- Have you done KYC on your account ?
4- Since you said that you are screwed, how much money do you hold in your account ?

This. If you're not a residence of US then you can just turn off your VPN (if you're using) or reconnects your internet to give you new ip address, or just restart your modem.

Now if you're the opposite, binance have instructions to follow even if you're late to migrate just contact their support as they're trying to improve their CS."

You are not screwed. I have come across a couple of such issues where the customers had their accounts locked because they were from the US but when they got in touch with support, they were given an option to withdraw the money to an external wallet or another platform.

You still have a chance to get your funds.

My question is if your Binance account has a balance there why don't you always check it and why don't you find out that your Binance account is no longer working, I think this is very unfortunate. Maybe you can contact Binance support as soon as possible so they can follow up on the issue you are having, but this will take a long time to deal with as Binance has to deal with other issues so you have to be really patient with it.

There are people that don't trade daily and are busy with their lives and don't have time to check the updates of exchanges where they've deposited their cryptocurrencies. I assume OP is on that situation that even with his most free time, he have forgotten to visit Binance.

@OP you've got a lot of suggestions already and you don't have to worry and just do what has been said about contacting the support. Their support has always been responsive and helpful with such concerns.

When you login to your account on binance.com, can you access your wallets? Did you check if it's still possible to withdraw your assets? If yes, then all you have to do is to create a new account on binance.us and verify it. Then move your coins from your .com wallets to the new .us wallets (make sure to select the correct chain). Many users reported that this method still works.

If withdrawals are suspended too, then only their support can help you.
Using VPNs should be your last resort as it can make things worst.

If you have been using centralized exchange and you went offline for a long time then this kind of issue is expected. Sadly only support could help you right now. I don't think using VPN would help you since Binance suspend withdrawal for unverified accounts. If your account is verified then they know very well you are from where. Also, they don't have the right to freeze your funds permanently. So try to convince them via support although it's quite tough. Also, try to ask in more details in their official Telegram chat so that you might get answers from moderators what would the proper way to claim your funds.

I guess you can still recover for that you need to raise a ticket on Binance.com about your account closure and probably they will let you to withdraw any funds remaining to your desired destination and then you can continue your trading activities on Binance.us not on Binance.com anymore. Binance extended the withdrawal feature till the end of 2020 so where you have been all these long time?

You must come out with a good reason for an explanation why you are not aware that they are not working or accepting users coming in the US, be honest with them they can trace your login data you will have to do a KYC, so prepare the necessary documents, but it's not going to be easy, your case is also the case of thousands of users whose thousands of dollars are still locked.

You can check this article about his issue so you can come out with better ways to address your issue, besides the recommendation of people here
