I have just learnt of Squid coin which is based on one of the popular Netflix shows "Squid Game" and is already trading on the markets and has posted some big gains in the last couple of days too.
SQUID is already trading above $2 which is a 2,400% gain , and its market capitalization is above $174 million which is huge for a new coin!

Do you see Squid continuing being bullish?

Are new investors late to grab themselves some squid?

Is this a coin you could recommend to someone else ?

Someone tries to hype on a famous tv-series, that is it. I think squid hype will end in a couple of months. Just wait for Musk to tweet something new and squid coin will be forgotten. Besides squid coin there is squid nft (https://playsquidnft.com/) already. I think this will have more long "living" period, as NFT are in trends right now. And I think that as soon as squid coin gets a copyright claim, it will die.

It's not yet available in trading view? I have see a squid project but you can pair it with bnb only and can be trade in just 2 exchange such UNISWAP, PANCAKE SWAP but the price is below $1..  Btw it's not surprising to see such hype if that coin really exists mate because indeed squid game is a very popular movie, so very normal that the project itself cannot get more attention in the internet. ..and fyi that squid that I've mentioned above is up by 200% as well which very amazing.. But sad to say not yet available in other exchanges like binance.

The gain of it is worrying because it could do a rugpull anytime. Those that have bought early, they're good as taking their profits at any time before some unexpected things might happen.

Do not caught by hype guys.

Would never recommend to anyone to invest in a situation that relies on hype just because of the trend of the Netflix movie series, then used to trick fans as if it was their token.

That would be very reckless and even those tokens have been revoked liquidated and are now abandoned by the developers after taking profits.

The gameplay is the same as in the movies, but will only kill buyers in the market and be difficult to resell. So it's too risky to follow the trend that scammers are trying to present.

I saw there  ads often times on Facebook during there initial sales, I thought no one will gonna take seriously on this coin because the developer is clearly just using the hype of the famous squid game show for there own sake. I was surprised seeing this speculation thread about asking the future of this coin and more amaze that the marketcap exceeds 100M USD. This is a total mayhem from I any angle I want to view this project and people is still putting huge money for this coin. Stay away while you can. They are using other franchise name as there own so if this team has a legal advisor on there side, They will not pursue on this shit idea.

Rediculous at best.  There is no reason for that to even be a thing.  These tokens are all just ponzis.  People hoping other people buy it higher then they did.  Straight gambling that's all that this is.

Not a fan of any coin or token that was derived from a certain show or personality.

Even trading it by fun can't lure me. And now with that insane 2,400% gain, it's common that others will be on FOMO status. It's not that we have seen this for the first time in the crypto world.

People should already know the drill and at least know what's the best approach in a situation like that.

Using a busy service is a great way to trap newbies with coin memes called Squid. It is inevitable that there will always be many who are interested in buying, even though the unavoidable risk will only cost us our money. It can be easily discarded and then reappeared under a new name according to the hype.

Recently, coin memes have become increasingly popular, and even coinmarketcap and coinecko have listed memecoin names as the most frequent trend.

You should really be careful on dealing with certain hypes which is derived from current trends on the market specially on movie industry or even with those casual trending status which they do really make some attachment into a particular coin.

The people would only make out profits is to those people who had able to get in too early but other than that then you are just simply
making yourself a risky move because high chances that you would really get caught yourself into the dump which would really
leave you on long term hodling.

So everythng was clearly because of hype.I wont touch this even with 10ft pole. 8)

Someone will always take advantage the current hype of something and with this one, the hit series on Netflix become a crypto fooling people that its actually part of the original Squid Game which is not at all.

I see the current pump is just a pure hype and will die later on so better to be careful and if you think its too late to buy now, better to look for other opportunities.

Just found out an interesting article^[1] about this squid game, it is said that community had suspected squid game as a scam project.
People weren't able to sell the token on pancakeswap, not to mention CMC has given a warning note on its token page^[2].

There's nothing as a continuous bullishness, if you mean on the short term then it's highly possible but everything has its exhaustion and likely oversold area.

You just said it's new and I think it's not yet late in this FOMO. Just a word of advice that it always carries risks and since it's new and market cap is not yet huge and even huge ones aren't an exemption to pump and dump scheme.

Hell no, especially for a newbie, perhaps those who have risky appetites and those who have some money to be spared or can afford to lose.

You should be careful trading that token as we do not know if the project can increase or go down for more.
Yes, the price can increase quickly, but that token was only listed on Pancakeswap so I think that token needs to be listed on the major exchanges to continue getting a bullish trend.
Without that, I am not sure if that token will attract the investor's attention.
The important thing is you need to be careful to trade on that token.

People can get in but they can't get out. that means liquidity got trapped and only developers who can access it.

It's better if you at least grab some latest news about that. People can't sell their tokens. If they can sell it and so many people will be dumping their tokens.
Are you joking, right? Why would we recommend a scam token for someone else?

Ask first ourselves why should we? Aren't we putting the money of the people we're going to talk about it at such high risk? You'll be liable for the loss of that person if you're going to recommend such a coin that you're not even sure about. I'll suggest bitcoin and ethereum and other altcoins that I'm confident that are good to invest but with this, I'll be putting my reputation to them personally in vain if I'll suggest a coin like this that there's no assurance and just built lately which doesn't have a clear future.

One thing which I was thinking about squid coin is that is this coin really backed by squid games production house. Squid game so far has generated around 1 billion $ revenue, if this coin is really backed by production House of squid game only then it can be worthy for investment otherwise it will be just another trump coin. Trump coin was popular during Donald Trump era as president and went down as soon as he lost elections.

There are several coins that use the Squid name now but if you only look at the Squid Game coin, then in general the value is also very extraordinary and will become a special benchmark for other Squid tokens in the market and have the potential to be developed by their respective teams. each at this moment

What I find so unfair about cryptocurrencies is we have crypto coins with real world changing ideas that have been around in the pipelines some time that don't get the recognition they deserve and don't get the investment the need... but here comes a coin probably with red flags written all over which has the face of a shitcoin and we don't even think twice if this is a legit project but go one step further to invest in such when all we know is such coins only benefit the developers. What happened to due diligence? What happened to research and all that.... Is it okay to say maybe we have an appetite for high risk coins ::)

Nonetheless, my question is still same, is there any squid token that is linked with production house of Squid Games or they are all independent tokens? One more thing I wanna know is what's the utility of these coins?

Squid is one of the game coins that has a rapidly increasing price. This can happen because the current defigame fever has very good prospects. so the inclusion of Squid coins is just right when the users need it right now. before the price becomes more expensive, I think investors still have the opportunity to invest in this coin

No, this is just a stupid pump based on similar name. When something has no fundamentals, no development, it usually is pumped by the whales to do pump and dump. However there's always a slight change of community takeover but those rarely end well for the bagholders.

Squid coin is the best coin and the squid coin is the Game coin and it will get better Position in all game coin the price of squid coin is increase day by day so my personal opinion  is that it is the wonderful coin and i see this coin project amazing road map and hopefully it will get bright future soon.

This scam token is going down to the bottom and scammer who have been issuing it has been running away with 2 millions USD. People who have been buying this token already rugpulled and they were loosing their money. You must also know if it's related to the squid game. Just try to typing the fullname of project instead of using ticker. There are bunch of tokens have been using the same ticker.
You must be careful when choosing or picking a coin from the market. There are lots of clones. It's easy to understand and it will not take a long time. There are lots of article already published it.

The devs of it have completely rug pulled already. It's all over the news and internet so if you're attached with this type of coin, you have to change your mind and avoid such in the future.

I was hearing that this token was constantly rising, and I thought it was just about the hype. The truth of the matter is that the token creators committed a complete scam. Only certain wallets have access to the sale and the buyer cannot sell, so it is constantly rising. It was a game like in the series, but this game created real losses. It was obvious that they were going to do rug pull, and they did it before it was too late.

I see currently BM julerz12 is handling this coin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5368428.0) campaign. to be honest I'm not sure about the future of the coin that only appeared because of the hype that happened and squidcoin is one of them. as usual, surely a coin like this will not last long and will lose value.

I had given a short check to both of the projects, highly likely they are different projects. The site, social media accounts, or even its contract address were different. Nevertheless, in my opinion, somehow the impression of both projects really looks alike.

This was a very brutal rug pull and it shows how naive some people can be. I think people just bought this primarily of the name and assumed it would be big, however they didn’t investigate and realize that you can’t sell it only buy. And the hint should of been how on the chart it just kept going up and up.

Lately on that chain I am assuming there is going to be more and more of these types of meme coins. And people will throw their money at it because they want the next Shiba or Doge type of meme returns and it’ll all end badly with rug pull after rug pull.

This squid thing is pretty intense after these TV series launched. It is getting out of the hand, isn't it? It is huge hysteria out there, I don't exclude its success at all. But, personally, I don't have any trust at this point and think as people lose interest in this TV show everything around it will be diminished.

This is the impact that occurs when we only see pump coins and coin memes that rely on hype. this is actually a very clear warning that almost everyone who sees and makes a thread about this fraudulent coin.
on the other hand greed makes them now start to cry, and of course this must be a lesson that the same coin like this will only be bad for the growth of the assets we have

@megan The token has been proven to be a scam, the tv series indeed was intense but this scam also has took a lot of money from their victims.
We shouldn't really trust any of the same token because they're just going to ruin everyone's market strategy and way of investing because of the existence of this scam.

because the squid game is hype, many are taking advantage of the opportunity to create a project that can generate fast money. I don't recommend it for friends to invest, much more if you only invest in coins that are ranked in the top 100.
