They are strictly the "cheap" registrar of the domain and is why they are used. Even the original Network Solutions exercised zero control of the names they registered. The service is to translate an alpha string to an IP address, and that's the extent of what they do. Anything more is well outside their purview. Title: Re: Impossible new miners. Some registrars will pull domains that are linked to scams / fraud. Others will not. Some will, but not just from the word of one or two people, but need a lot of complaints and links with proof. Others seem to respond better to abuse reports from people who have domains with them. So hassling the abuse addresses may or may not get it pulled. Can't hurt..... -Dave |
