The link already has been removed by the team of google play store so no need to report against the app. Maximum of the users of android users have a trust on google play store. Well, anyone with developer account can upload there with their small one time fee and other requirements, so it's pretty normal for scammers to do their motives there. This is pretty normal for all digital distribution service, even apple/app store struggle to distinguish the scam/clones app in their platform. When people see an app on Google, people easily believe it. Scammers are using every weakness of Google to make their scammed website / app easily accessible to the people. Google is taking action, they are taking appropriate action against that particular website / app after receiving the report. But by the time the reports reach them, many inexperienced crypto users have already fallen victim to the scam. So Google needs to upgrade its system to prevent such scams, so that scammers do not easily manipulate Google. |
