Title: Google/bing Ads with Bitcoin ?
Post by: jitjitmew1 on November 07, 2021, 07:48:25 PM
I don't know exactly if this goes here, but since i am not selling or buying anything so i don't think it would go on "services" either.

Anyway,
i would like to know if someone know any site,or third party service that sells ads on main search sites like Google Or Bing for btc? i know there are forum ads available for purchase with crypto, but what about the main search engines?
I cannot pay with fiat or credit card at the moment,i have no problem with KYC,but crypto its the only way i can pay for it now.Maybe a site or trusted service that could buy the ads for me and i pay in btc,Does anyone knows something like that?

There is a crypto-based ad service for sure, but I don't know one who can help you post an add on Google.

An alternative would be requesting a service from someone who accept BTC or crypto as the payment. You can do it on Services board (I recall there are several request like this in the past, albeit it's for different platforms).

Google doesnt accept bitcoin as payment option so you cant pay using bitcoin directly but you can try:
 - use bitcoin debt cards: Most of them will not your without KYC, and some may work after you complete KYC + address activation. So it is better to ask card provider.
 - pay for third part: find someone who accept BTC from you and pay to google.

This is pretty much your best option since you've mentioned that you don't mind KYC. In the first place, I don't even think that it's worth paying any search engines for ads besides Google and Bing, though I'd probably consider DuckDuckGo as well.

There are advertisement publishers who take bitcoin as payment but I dont think they sell ads to search engines.

Major search engines do not accept bitcoin payment for ads, they only do fiat. So if you dont have that, dont expect to get a short cut, you will likely have to go for the long cut, which is registering on an exchange that accepts your local currency, get KYC done, sell bitcoin for fiat and use that to pay for the advertisement.

If you could get a credit or debit card, you might get some more options. But you would need liquid-able fiat at hand, aka old school.

I briefly browsed the system: About payment settings in Google Ads (https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/2375432?hl=en), google ad payments, indeed they do not provide a payment system with Bitcoin or Crypto.

But i see here: Top 5 Crypto Ad Networks In 2021 (https://lunarstrategy.com/crypto-ad-network-in-2021/), there are third parties that can be paid with Bitcoin in displaying ads on google.

As the Bitmedia company says below.
Quote
Regarding payments, Bitmedia offers publishers to withdraw their earnings in Bitcoin or fiat cash. The minimum withdrawal amount is 0.0001 BTC.

Try to learn and contact them there are five companies there that serve the same thing, maybe it can help you to advertise on google.

@jitjitmew1, I can't tell you how effective such advertising is, but I can tell you that anyone who is aware of the dangers that come from such ads uses an adblocker and therefore does not see such ads at all. Scammers are massively taking advantage of Google’s inability or neglect to filter out the good from malicious ads, and this has become one of the main ways to advertise phishing links that gain huge exposure.

If you want to find what you are interested in, visit the Service board and use the search with the keywords "Google ads" - and you will get all the relevant results - and you can repeat the same in the Digital Goods board.

I assume that you want to use some kind of middleman, who will run the Google/Bing Ads accounts for you.
Using a middle man increases the risk of being scammed. You must seek for someone extremely trusted and reputable.
I'm confused. Why can't you just sell your crypto for fiat, get a debit card and use it to buy Google Ads?
Is this so difficult for you?

AFAIK,paid ads in search results cannot be blocked by an adblocker.Adblockers work only for banner ads on websites(like Google Adsense ads). However,I might be wrong about this.
Google isn't completely unable to track and block malicious links in their Ads.Actually they are pretty good at this and their rules about landing pages are pretty strict. That's why Google makes billions of dollars every year,by selling ads.If the people didn't trust their ads, they would never click on them and Google wouldn't make any money. Most of their ads are pay-per-click(PPC).

You are wrong, and you could check this very easily in any browser by searching for any keyword with adblocker on and off. It is strange that you, as an experienced member of the forum, have any doubts about this - it is one of the most important things for anyone who wants to protect themselves from phishing and malicious sites.

If the people didn't trust their ads, they would never click on them and Google wouldn't make any money.

Most people are unfortunately not intelligent enough to be able to tell the good from the bad, and the fact that they trust a company that allows scammers to commit multimillion-dollar scams with their company speaks for itself. If you want to be a sheep in life, no one can save you from the fate that every sheep experiences sooner or later.

Starting from scratch takes time and lots of trial and error to setup campaigns and manage. I've been there.

Or he could have been banned from the platform and needs a third-party to do so.

Google isn't completely unable to track and block malicious links in their Ads.
You're right, but the main issue is the manner in which they accept such ads [I have a strong feeling it's automated]; in other words, there are no preventive measures in place!

Actually they are pretty good at this and their rules about landing pages are pretty strict.
I have to respectfully disagree with you on that one... If you visit the "Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0)" board regularly, you'll see that there are still users who report such ads from time to time!

i will search some btc debit cards
This thread would come in handy: Crypto Debit Cards (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5280997.0)
Note: I prefer to not vouch for any of those providers [DYOR before trying them]!

or see if someone who i can trust in the services area can buy those ads for me (if anyone have an idea of who that may be i accept suggestions)
Trust no one [the same goes for other sellers on the "Digital goods (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0)" board] and use one of the "escrow providers from this forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0) [anyone from the list, except me]".

The manual review would be later on, but by then, it's already too late.

Honestly speaking, their whole system is flawed and often work against legit advertisers.

we hope that this is not just a discourse that wants to be implemented if Google really wants to adopt bitcoin, for example, like bitcoin ads will be posted on Google, it will have a very good impact on the world of bitcoin today, to regain public trust considering bitcoin is currently experiencing a crisis of trust. thus making the price fall even more on the global stock market, so with this collaboration we hope that this will again boost the popularity of bitcoin prices on the international stock market
