My problem is that I need to get my product key from my hard drive, so any ideas you already tried are likely that you did yourself that worked. So I can buy or build a PC that has no OS. and get that product key from my broken laptop to the new product PC that Iam planning to buy. You can explain to me or if you have watched something on youtube that works, can you please share it here?. Some time ago I succesfully extracted keys from Microsoft products by NirSoft ProduKey - I see it has a command line option to point the program for different Windows installation. So:
