Not an answer to your question but you shouldn't really be using centralized closed source (even partially closed source) wallet software that are published by centralized companies to store your cryptocurrencies.
Try to stick to anything that is fully open source and actually trusted not just have the word in their name!

Have checked their telegram and no such announcement. Where did you get that information?
Be careful extracting the seed phrases to versions of the wallet that are not launched through the official site. You can only install trustwallet on pc with the help of android emulator and that is not windows version either.

Did a bit of searching, and here's what I found:

Seems like it's being "developed" for years now. Maybe Trust wallet for desktop and the new Bitcointalk forum software would be released at the same time.. whenever that is. :P

Maybe it will take time before this can happen, why did you want windows when you can still access it on you Android, if you like the wallet and you do not have Android, then you can buy one. It is said that trust wallet is close source wallet, I will always advise people to do away with close source wallets. There are many other wallets that are supporting windows which can be alternatives.

2 years have passed and maybe they're "still" on that development stage. @OP you don't hope anymore for a trust wallet desktop version to come.
Consider the suggestion of everyone in here if you're going to use them as your main storage.

OP, what coin do you plan to store? If you only plan to store Bitcoin, you could check Blue Wallet or Electrum instead.
Also wasabi wallet.

I found this[1] (9 months ago) but the MOD hasn't mentioned anything about the wallet being under development. In addition to that, the android wallet support WalletConnect which should allow you to connect to DAPPS from your desktop computer.

It's very possible that the idea of a desktop wallet has been dropped after they got acquired by Binance.
