Hello.
I've tried several miners (cc and cpuminer)and using the typical RPC setup in the conf file yet it does not work for me.
The main issue, I believe, is the algo either isn't Scrypt or the wallet doesn't support the get-work command and the miner fails.

If you have it working, what is the version of your miner?

ccminer ccminer-x64-2.2.5 works, so do all previous versions. As does cpuminer.
Others appear to be mining and as seen below even an OLD pc can mine this.

Please post a copy of the connection log from your miner.

I see a real low hashrate compared to network hashrate. Winning any blocks at all going solo?

The system that was used to check the miner connection in previous post would probably only solve a few blocks a day at current hash rate and thats if it was lucky. But that all relies on mining interest. GPU solo is still very viable at this point. But NOT cpu mining.

As with all Scrypt based coins, pools are the only way.

Drop some pool links and i will go to each one and submit/contact for addition.

I'll test any pool.

well, in 8hrs I managed to succeed in mining 4 blocks with ccminer. Not bad :-)
I'd like to win 4 blocks in 8hrs of BTC, though... oh the good ol' days. LoL

I don't have a typical pool I go to. I use whatever, wherever.

I did GPU mine 4 blocks, through the wallet, and then nothing for a day and half.
I noticed net hashrate was over 200Mh! Then I stopped.

You aren't new to crypto. I am certain you know of many pools.

Why don't you host an official pool? You have a website. Then I can continue mining.

if you made any changes, increase the revision number. They can't all be 1.0.3.0
This new one, even only adding nodes, should be 1.0.3.1
Plus, list it on the git properly. Right now it doesn't say a thing.

Thank you for stating your opinion. We did not feel that the two changes warrented a version change as they did not affect the wallet or it's performance. The git does not have to have a readme. Again not necessary at this time.

Going forward we will make sure to change the version number so that there is no confusion even on insignificant changes.

Surely none of the old-timers here will buy anything you produce... So why not just go away?

Years after years? TagIt was abandoned due to the fact there was absolutely 0 interest after a year even after giving away well over 1 btc via contests. Allion was scrapped due to the fact that the main use for it had to do with scavenging the internet for PIRATED MOVIES and you cannot recover from that stupidity. TagIt was going to be attached but it was decided to just scrap due to the fact there was 0 interest in it and ALLION was already DEAD.

AllionOG had a name change to tagit, not a new project. Allion started as TrollPay and rebranded to Allion and then swapped to reduce coin supply that was requested by users.

Some old timers may not buy what I will be producing but those old timers that watched the time and effort and results during Allion and TagIt will.

You can go away if you please. I am not stopping you and I am surely not forcing anyone to take interest in this project.

Saying that year after year I create projects and abandon them is beyond ridiculous. I created 2 projects. Each failed. 1 due to lack of interest & the other due to mostly legal issues due to it being directly attached to MOVIE PIRACY.

I am in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM sorry for not continuing projects that put my life and my families lives in legal jeopardy along with 100% financial burden of the unused TagIt.

So again, feel free to just go away from this thread, those that watched Allion (TrollPay) from day 1 know that I put 100% into every aspect of building a user base & deploying products and surely not one would say that I should have went to prison and paid restitution for 100's of movies to keep a coin built on piracy.

The issue was closed due to the fact that hardcoded nodes(2) and nodes not yet hardcoded(2) are fully functional and Coin was NOT dead.

As for the wallet release with stake4charity I decided against it. With NO feedback in the thread and the fact that reward is only 1 I decided my time was better spent working on services and coin use.

I have never had to open a port for a wallet to sync, nor to stake. MN, sure but not any other reason.

Just so you, and all other coin devs know :

1024-49151 - Reserved Ports
49152-65535 - Dynamic/Private Ports (Ports good for COINS)

Ports 1 - 1023 are considered reserved. And we could use port 5 if we wanted. (Bitcoin uses 8333).

I am sorry that you have not had to do it before. But the fact you have to or cannot get it to work is NOT our fault nor the coins codes fault.

Starts to sync... then stops due to disconnecting from nodes.
I do notice they are at 95756(explorer is at 95895, though) but my wallet won't go past 89554.

No Peers tab in the debug window to tell me if anything is banned.

I know you can't diagnose the issue from outside but all this occured at block 89554. (January 17).

Could you build a bootstrap? Maybe this will help me pass this block.

I did not say it was YOUR fault, I simply stated that all nodes are up and running & code is valid.
(I synced 2x wallets on different networks from 0 to EOC after your first post to do a light check)
The chain did not fork. Block explorers are not all the same and do not update at the same time,
That is why one explorer will show block 96020 and another will show 96015.

I am sorry for the confusion as your initial issue at github and here did not state that you were
being disconnected while downloading the blockchain. Your issue asked/stated if/the coin was dead and
that there was NO working nodes.

I will head to the office now and create a bootstrap for you and others. Hopefully this will resolve
the issue you are having getting past block 89554. Please give me an hour so get to the office &
create / Upload the bootstrap file.

Not sure exactly what you mean but I will cover what I think your saying.

We are currently trying to determine a price for the mail service. Since we are doing yearly subscriptions we have to be cautious while APCDC is not traded and has no true value. If we charge 2000 APCDC for a yearly subscription today and in 5 months APCDC lists on an exchange and sits at 10k sat is that fair to those who purchased before APCDC had any value at all? Once APCDC is on an exchange our pricing will reflect fiat conversion in real-time. Until then our APCDC value is only what we say it is and that makes setting up pay services a little more difficult.

Regardless you will be able to purchase our E-mail subscriptions soon.

You updated to v2.0 with only hard coded nodes?
That does not warrant a full version increase. Maybe to v1.0.1

First thank you for posting. But as I have stated before we can use ANY format for version upgrade we want to. We could jump to v14232.from 2 if we so desire. We added nodes, fixed & added checkpoints & a graphical mistype. Not a lot but you stated just nodes and that is incorrect.

I tried to send 5k of APCD. Wallet froze. I let it sit while I went to work.
Upon return the wallet was no longer open.

I re-opened it and noticed all the staking split my balance into chunks ranging from 25 to 90 !! That is insane. I had to combine multiple sets together in order to send the 5k or it would have froze again.

Now I'm spending an hour combining my tiny chunks into larger units.

I have 3 other wallets that do this but not nearly as quickly as APCD and not to such a small value. Many other staking wallets combine on their own so it never fragments into a million tiny amounts.

Again thank you for posting. The wallet is setup for max possible stake rewards for all users. The reason you are not seeing it in the other coins is your receiving more PoS stakes than the other coins. The stake split guarantees that every user no matter there skill level will get maximum rewards over time. We are NOT changing this. Combining inputs on stake would reduce the amount of stakes per hour thus reducing the speed of transactions. We will add a split stake etiquette page to the wallet. Possibly later a combine all & resplit to desired input amount / input size option.

That would be a great addition.
Right now, I have to go though 2,240 transactions and add just enough to be able to send it, but not too much that it won't send (gives errors on too large of a transaction).

Until you implement this, I will keep the wallet closed. I can't be bothered to combine two thousand transactions in order to send anything... I wonder if anyone else tried to send any coins.

Hopefully we are able to resolve this problem without the need to reduce users ability to maximize there rewards. Only veterans will benefit from this as most new users do not know how to setup there wallets to maximize there staking rewards.

Ok so user allowed us to watch via live stream and performed quite a few tests before we called it a night..
We only used around 1300 inputs from the user since we had most of our answers before the first send was even initiated.

After user hits send button client hangs for around 30 seconds and pops transaction error

User attempts to send 400+ inputs.  Transaction hangs for around 30 seconds and pops transaction error

After user hits send button client again hangs for around 30 seconds and pops transaction error

We have user open input screen and although the user had NO selected inputs
the wallet was registering 1 input selected. Overview shows coins staking.

What has happened is that during the lag of creating the transaction for the huge input send inputs continue to stake. The transaction of course cannot occur because the input is no longer available to send. Because the input was set aside for sending but staked during the creation of the transaction the transaction fails. The input is now stuck in memory limbo both registering to the wallet as usable input and staking input and old input is always selected to be in the transaction but no longer exists. This stays persistent until the wallet is restarted.

While this seems like an extremely bad thing it is actually not as bad as one would think. This problem only occurs when you are farming inputs. Most users will never exceed 2 - 300 inputs. Mostly only large bag holders will experience this as there wallet will stake more often than the average user as wallet stake weight is a combination of ALL stakeable inputs.

Client hanging to creation of gigantic input transactions will always hang. It does not matter what wallet. The problem is the creation of a stake block while a transaction is occurring.

We will be releasing a fix for this down the road but for now we will just have to ask users to perform proper staking etiquette. While this is currently inconvenient for the input farmers we do not see it affecting the average holder.

While inconvenient setting a reservebalance so coins do not stake & creating smaller transactions is how to get around this problem.

But again this problem only occurs for large input farmers.
