Title: Transaction failure
Post by: PercT4b on November 11, 2021, 09:44:01 PM
Hope not to be off-topic, I'm having a problem with Metamask, I'm trying to withdraw some tokens from a locker (deeplock.io) but every time I try to do the operation this message is shown below the gas fee row: "transaction error exception thrown in contract code".

What's really strange is that the token works perfectly and this message keeps popping out even when I'm not dealing with this token (for instance, when I try to call some functions on the bscscan's page of a completely different token, it shows me the exact same message),

I'm starting to think that there's something wrong with my Metamask wallet.

It could be some problem with the smart contract of the token and not metamask. If you google, the problem is common with so many tokens on Ethereum and Binance smart chain.

I suggest you first contact the token developers for help or solution.

I think not only you facing the problem.

I search on the internet and found some thread have the same problem like you with deeplock https://forum.openzeppelin.com/t/problem-with-unstaking-locked-bep20-tokens/16441/1 better take the advice from Jerome, you should contract the developer token or deeplock.
