Post by: Miningnorge on November 20, 2021, 03:05:47 AM

Basically, you're looking for a way to shoot yourself in the foot! By the look of things, you're looking to "directly resell" ASIC rigs from sellers on those platforms and that usually doesn't end well [if it goes wrong (mostly does), you have to refund your customer out of your own pocket].

  • If you continue that route, sooner or later, "this will be your future (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266406.msg57695966#msg57695966)".
    - Either stick to the official manufacturers or ditch the whole idea [it's not worth the risk]!

If you want to be an ASIC reseller make sure that you can be trusted. Buying ASIC machines on unverified resellers and distributor are risky so if you are buying on Alibaba and Aliexpress those are 3rd party reseller but the manufacturer said that they don't have any verified reseller on Alibaba and Aliexpress except to Newegg.

So I suggest you always buy ASIC machines directly from manufacturers and verified distributors. You can find the list of manufacturers and distributors from this link below

Or try to contact offordscot (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1449095) if you want help to find an ASIC machine that you can resell.

Hhaha, this time I remembered this one.
Yeah, that reseller got greedy for some 25% and played with other people's money, if the story is true now from a successful businessman he risks going to jail or at least cough up a lot of money.

Small question
If there would be legitimate vendors there who you who have no experience till now could trust why would somebody buy from your new business and at a premium (your take) compared to the others?

OP, try directly with the manufacturers, get some gears, try to sell them at a profit, just adding more and more intermediaries will simply raise the price and add a to of problems. Also, don't forget, what's too good to be true is 99% a scam.

You are going to get your self scammed on alibaba or aliexpress. It doesn't matter if they have a trade assurance or buyer protection policy or not. They will send you fake used up miners that will work for a couple of weeks and then die. Buy the time you or your customers realized they are faulty. the Buyer protection period will have expired.

I am saying these because I have seen lots of reports about miners bought from resellers in such sites.

That's a good list but unfortunately, it doesn't have any distributors in any type of miners. However, it would be good if someone create a thread regarding distributors and their legitimacy, shipping, based, etc. I don't know though how easy that can be... :-\
