That is still best to mine Ethereum in the long run as it will do 40-43 Mhsh as a LHR card under a miner which can support 74 % LHR unlock as that is the maximum I have seen for that card.The calculators show for today only another coin as the top but they don't take into consideration if you are running a LHR unlock miner up to 74 % of the power.So with let's say 43 Mhsh that card will do its best at Ethereum and the next best thing RVN coin for me.

So why mine Ethereum on this video card if there are more profitable coins?
An increase in the hash rate on this video card is possible only due to the increased power consumption of up to 200 watts.

You can mine other coins and exchange them for Ethereum.

I told to mine Ethereum for the long run and for 43 Mhsh I see it is 3 dollars right now in 2cryptocalc,the other coins which were more profitable in the morning are not anymore so it is Ethereum the best at this calculator giving 3 USD daily while if you go with other coins the max you do with Zano and Octopus for the moment is like 2.66-2.8 USD so not that a big difference and with the added power then it is the same not much difference from mining Ethereum either and in the end it gets back to the user personal choice.Again above I said Ethereum is my personal choice and I would do this would mine Ethereum with that card if a miner can give me 74% LHR unlock power.In the long run I know Ethereum price will go up but the OP can also mine other coins and exchange to Ethereum for a fee which would not make a lot of sense to me.It is just my personal opinion.

$ 2.8 or $ 3 is not much of a difference.
The profit will still be the same, because the multipools monitor this automatically and send the hash rate to the most profitable algorithm.
And if the profit is the same, then it is better to choose the coldest and most energy efficient algorithm.
