I heard there was one two years ago I couldn't remember the name again but why isn't such project doing so well today? If the internet goes down in future this type of project will be useful don't you think?

As far as Bitcoin goes? yes there is: [Total privacy Bitcoin]: off grid Transactions LoRaWan/goTenna (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230202.0). But as far as altcoin, I'm not really sure, maybe I just didn't heard any, but for sure this has been looked upon my many devs already and maybe someone can share it. Or it could be in experiment phase already, or have been implemented. In any case though, the only thing that I would surmise that the internet will go down is a WW, so I doubt that it will ever happen again in human history. |
